BO XI R3 is unstable???

BO XI R3 is unstable when created more serving WEBI, somebody say could me if they exist some requisite daily pay to create servers WEBI in BO XI R3?
somebody has success when working with groups of servers in BO XI R3 here?
I am having some problems with the new version, would be bugs?
it has some forecast to leave a SP?
thank's

If you suspect a bug you should open a message with the webi team. We can't escalate bugs from the forums.
3.0 seems as stable a release as any we have ever had with business objects, in my opinion more stable than any we have ever had (speaking of initial RTM). On top of that SP1 is right around the corner expected this month(september).

Tim

  • MSI GTX 560 TI Hawk Unstable?

I have a brand new custom built PC with two MSI 560 TI Hawk cards in SLI and I have a problem with playing games on this system. I've tried Portal 2, Far Cry 2, Two Worlds 2 and The Witcher 2. All games seem unstable with comparable problems:
Random lock-ups for 10-20 seconds with audio looping
Random small jitters, frame drops and stutters, including audio stutters
Sometimes my whole system freezes so I have to push the reset button
    Artifacts
Flickering parts of the horizon, sky or ground in the game
Sometimes the game runs fine for a few minutes and then the problems start happening, sometimes they are there from the beginning.
I tried to eliminate possible causes one by one to narrow out the actual problem. Even disabling SLI and running on a single card doesn't help.
Here are the things I tried:
Monitor GPU temperatures with GPU-Z: didn't show anything unusual, around 35 degrees idle to 65-70 degrees stressed
Disable SLI: didn't fix the problem
Download MSI drivers v266.44 (older version than current NVidia drivers): didn't fix it and I couldn't find the SLI option in these drivers so i switched back to v280.26
Check driver and firmware version with MSI Live Update 5: everything seemed to be up to date
Remove graphics cards: cleaning the connections and re-installing, didn't fix it
Stress the cards with FurMark: no issues detected and temperatures seemed normal (70 degrees stressed)
Lower the stock clock speed (950 Mhz) to the standard non-overclocked speed (822 Mhz): this seemed to help at first and the problems didn't occur for a while. But while i'm testing right now Portal 2 froze and stuttered a few times again. Although it seems like it happens less often. So this might be a clue to my problem. Anyway I didn't pay extra money for these overclocked cards to underclock them back to standard so I would like to make the cards run on stock settings (950 Mhz).
    Here are my system specifications:
Processor: Intel Core i7 2600K 3.4 Ghz (stock speed)
    Mainboard: Asus P8Z68 V-Pro
    Memory: 2x Corsair Vengeance 4GB DDR3 CL9 12800 Mhz
    SSD: Crucial M4 256GB SSD
HDD: 2x WD Caviar Blue - Raid 0
Graphics: NVidia Geforce GTX 560 TI Hawk 1GB SLI
    PSU: Corsair TX750 V2 (750 watt)
I hope you can help me to fix this issue because I'm out of ideas right now....
    Thanks in advance

Well I've tried some more things but it's all still very weird and not helping at all   I will explain my findings in the order i tested the cards this time, after every card-switch i did a clean re-install of the VGA drivers:
    Card-2
I've ran the OCCT test for one hour on card-2, i got zero errors and temperature never went above 76 degrees with a fan speed around 68%. After this i tried testing some games again and I found out there were still problems regardless of me saying that card-2 did fine before. In Portal 2 I was leaving the game on for a while and after a few minutes it froze with audio looping. I found out that when I use ctrl+alt+del to go to the task manager and then go back to the game it recovered and I could continue playing (weird??!). The same thing happened with The Witcher 2, freezing with audio loop and going to task manager and back let me continue playing. This happened every few minutes.
    Card-1
Now it was time to try card-1 again. This time this card didn't seem to have the frequency problems I mentioned before but the problems didn't go away. Portal 2 let the game freeze within a minute, and I could use the same strategy (task manager) to continue, but this time after a few seconds it would freeze again and again. The same happened with The Witcher 2. Then I tried Far Cry 2 and this game had the same flickering problems as with card-2 but a lot worse... it was almost everywhere. Even sometimes the flickering had a checkerboard kind of shape. Now I ran the OCCT test with this card and there were no problems. Another strange thing was that when I was looking at the graph after the test, the temperature was much lower (65 degrees) and the graph line of the framerate was very straight (stable) along the test. This was different than with card 2 where the framerate and temp were higher and not so stable.
After all it appears i have comparable problems with both cards, only with card-1 they are much worse.

  • New OSX not does not work with RED Rocket Card and old OSX Randomly Logs Out - UNSTABLE

It looks like my MBPR 16GB (MacBook Pro) randomly logs out and causes my programs to quit unsaved.  I can not update to the new OSX mountain Lion because the new Apple release is no longer compatible with the RED Rocket card needed for debaying RED Scarlet footage.  Mountain Lion causes the RED Rocket to not run correctly with Adobe Premiere.
At the same time, I am on Lion and my computer randomly logs me out and I lose all my work.  It seems as though the Retina is unstable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Can someone tell me how I can return this.  It seems as though I may have to switch the entire company over to PC if this is not figured out soon.

You probably have not received responses for two reasons.
    1. There are not many here that know what this is "RED Rocket card needed for debaying RED Scarlet footage"
    2. Your post appears to contain some sort of threat to Apple about moving to PCs. You are not addressing Apple here. We are users just like you. We don't care if you change over to PCs.
MBPs and Lion are very stable. Maybe your unsupported third party Red card is causing issues. Their answer seems to be that Mountain Lion is not supported. I wonder why?
My suggestion if this is a business environment is to not mess with this. If you know for a fact that your Red card works with PCs, change over to PCs. I know that if some tool was not working for my business I would not hesitate to get something that worked.

  • P7N SLI Platinum Unstable with over 2GB ram and/or dual channel memory on.

Hello need some help or to report something to MSI regarding blue screens, freezes when booting Vista 64 (SP1 + all fixes installed) with more then 2GB ram.  Single channel mode works (either 1 stick of 2 GB or 3 sticks of 2GB) and is rock stable.  Booting with 2 x 2 or 4 x 2 yields instability and blue screens.
I read over Microsoft's hotfix KB929777 however it appears this patch was applied during SP1. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929777 - when I attempted to apply this hotfix I got the message this update does not apply to your system.
Memory tested in other gaming system using 4 sticks of G.Skill 1066 DDR2 ram and still have the same issues.  Other forums like Evga.com, Tom's hardware and 411overkill.com tend to suggest some problem with this new bios version 2.0, written by Nvidia.  Some others mention possibly an Nvidia nforce driver issue.
Therefore, under duress during testing - with 1 stick or 3 sticks of ram, all tests perfect and passes all stability tests, good marks in Sandra, plays any game.  With 2 or 4 sticks of ram, very unstable won't stay up but for seconds.
Any ideas?  (Tested 7 ways until Sunday!)
My other rig, rocks solid and stable with Vista 64....  It's the Evga new mainboard 780i with triple SLI (132-CK-NF78-A1), 8gb of Gskill 1066ddr2, MSI 8800GT (x2 sli mode) Q6600 @ 3.2 ghz - Raid 0 on dual WD caviar 640 gb/sata 3.0gb/sec.  Seasonic 700w p/s.  8gb of memory and not a hiccup.  Ram 2.0 volts, cpu @ 1.36v.  Will handle the memory from both systems with out fault.
Considering I can swap memory back and forth and confirm it's not the sticks, swap graphics boards (own 3 of them!) and rule out that....
    Fyi.  Any help is appreciated!

Dump question, but have you pickup the correct update e.g. for 64bit? ==> http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=91672C7C-614B-404C-850C-377541E93C18&displaylang=en
"This comes inside SP1 for vista 64, as noted with my other system during the build. "
    Better double check it.
Install all four memory sticks and do a memory check with >>Memtest86<< 1st, ensure that no error(s) will comes during testing.
    Also how about that?:
Quote from: BOSSKILLER on 07-April-08, 23:55:36
Remove your OC then see how its goes.
"When the system boots in single channel mode (only 2 or 6gb of ram meaning 1 or 3 sticks installed into the 4 slots) its' rock stable.  When it boots into dual channel mode (2 x 2 sticks or 2 x 4 sticks) extemely unstable. "
That means, timings are too tight, or they need a bit more vcore help, or some of the memory stick has failure.
    "MSI P7N SLI Platinum - MS-7380 - Bios 2.0 on Vista Ultimate 64-bit - all updated."
That BIOS is not for your board, you should use 1.xx

  • Internet connection is Unstable...???

Today makes the third day I have had My new Samsung Galaxy S4. I upgraded from An S3, and I absolutely love these devices - but whatever you do, DO NOT UPGRADE TO THE GALAXY S4. Sadly, I will be returning this one and going with something, ANYTHING that doesn't use Android 4.3, 4.4, whatever. You will absolutely regret getting this device - unless you never use Wifi. The OS parameters that determine a Wifi internet connection is unstable is entirely too sensitive. It keeps giving me the message "Your internet connection is unstable", and I have no data unless I use the mobile network. It connects to the Wifi no problem - it just refuses to use it. Never had this problem with my S3, and no one else here has any problems with their devices. A quick Google search under 'internet connection is unstable" reveals a torrent of unsatisfied consumers, and no one - manufacterer, programmer, or carrier service provider - will even admit that the problem exists. ALL OF THEM reported not having received any complaints about this issue - despite finding it specified in forums on their own websites!! I have been in contact with Samsung customer support, and despite the torrent of discontent readily apparent on the internet, they would not even acknowledge the issue! The attempted "fixes" I was encouraged to try were the exact same unsuccessful efforts described by other unsatisfied customers. Everyone is playing dumb, like a sad shell game where the consumer is going to be left holding the bag. And by bag, I mean a service contract you're trapped in for two years and a device that will not operate. Will there be an update to resolve the issue? A "fix" in the immediate future? Will Android ever admit that the software needs to be revamped? I would love to think so, because I think these are the most incredible devices - but nothing in my dealings with the industry thus far inspires any confidence in such a resolution, and I personally am not willing to gamble on a "maybe they will resolve it, maybe they won't". I will be exchanging this device before my grace period for a new one expires. If anyone knows something that I don't, I would love to be wrong about this, because, as I said - these are truly great devices.

    Nomadicus,
The solution that ClarkKent62 provided worked fine for me also.  That particular "feature" was added to supposedly make sure that users always had a good internet connection.  As stated above also, it appears as though to be more suited to make sure you expend a maximum quantity of data on the Carrier's Network.  That being said, since I turned off the "Auto Network Switch" setting, I haven't had the "Unstable Network" issue.  The WiFi that I use during the day is spotty at best and I was always having it switch back to data, but after changing that setting I haven't had the first issue.  Remember the target audience for the S4 was business.  That is why some of the bloatware installed isn't something that an individual would ever use and in a business situation, the auto switch would be more desirable than a poor connection.

  • System unstable - MSI 785GM-E51 and OCZ3G1600LV2G

I had random freezes since I built the system(20 days ago). But, intially freezing up once a day or so. Recently in the last 10 days, the freezes are more often (sometimes within 5 to 10 mins). Basically system freezes at stock settings.
    Running Prime95 to test
Blend test stops mostly within the first few seconds reporting hardware error. The other two types work well. Did not let them go past few mins.
Also, changed the CPU to FSB ratio to 1:4. So, BIOS indicates 1600Mhz. Changed DRAM Voltage to 1.65V and system still unstable. Changed back.
Also, when I enable the MSI board features to Unlock CPU and ACC, the sytem does not boot under and stock settings.

Can you write down the model number as it appears on the modules themselves?
    Quote
Voltage 1.5V  (Mfg specs.. say 1.65V)
Those 1.5V do not indicate the voltage set in BIOS but the JEDEC Compliant default voltage for DDR3 modules (1.5V +/- 0.075V).  1.65V is an overvoltaged rating that is needed to compensate the overclocked/undertimed ratings OCZ adverises for those modules.

I am trying to finish a book in InDesign CS2 with another person. My old XP computer became unstable and I had to get a Windows 7 computer. I was able to install CS2 on the Virtual XP Machine on my Windows 7 computer, but I cannot register or activate it. Adobe no longer supports activation. Is there a way I can keep using CS2? I need to get files back and forth to my coauthor. I also have CS6. I understand that files can go form 2 to 6, but not backwards. Thanks Robert

  • My iPad 1 is now very unstable. Apps crash consistently, Mac Numbers/Pages etc incompatible with IOS 5.1 etc. There seems to be no backwards compatibility to iPad 1. Am I just supposed to throw it away? I have restored the iPOad and it has ample storage .

My iPad 1 is very unstable. Many Apps simply crash after opening. There is ample storage available.I have restored the iPad twice now and still it is unstable.
Is this a lack of backwards compatibility because no-one writes apps for IOS 51.1. and the original iPad anymore? not even Apple, as the documents and sheets I create on my Mac are incompatible with my iPad now.
My naievete tells me that this is simply Apple expecting us to upgrade to later levels of hardware. If so, very disappointing for an Apple fan. Seems your App developer approvals (even your own apps) do no require compatibility with anything but IOS 6 or later.

There are various things to make your iPad more stable. You can try deleting all apps from the multitasking bar; do a reset ie hold the power and home buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears; Settings > General > Reset all Settings.
If you had the previous version of iPages (version 09) on your Mac before upgrading to Pages 5.2, your Mac should still have that version in Applications, which is still compatible with your version of Pages on your iPad.
If you don't have that version, you can 'Export to Pages 09' which is still compatible with iOS 5.1.1.

I must say that Sun really needs to do something about dbx and fbe stability. The code is probably unchanged from the days of Forte and it shows. It has been unstable and prone to segfaults, strange symbol table malfunctioning/misreadings and other annoyances since I can remember using it. I've used dbx since the RWCString days of Forte 4.2 and every release in between at several different firms on several different hardware platforms and every version of Solaris since it was called SunOS and every single one of them experienced the same pattern of problems with dbx. Several simply switched to g++/gdb, reasoning that optimized binaries are worth very little when a slight change to a template can result in your binary becoming unreadable by dbx, often times unnoticed by you until it is far too late and you have a
The linker too seems to be very quirky and sometimes downright unreliable. I feel like if I have the audicity to write a C++ template longer than a few lines, either fbe, dbx, CC or several of them may crash at any point during the developmet process or, heaven forbid, when you need to debug a production core file.
My problems started yesterday when I decided to upgrade to Studio 12 after seeing that it was supposedly more compatible with boost, especially the latest 1.34 release. Those hopes were soon dashed as one out of every two random build variances combinations appear to cause either CC or the linker to seg fault. Apparently, this is a known issue which I was able to work around by lowering the optimization level from -x04 to -x01.
Now, it appears a couple of my binaries built by studio 12 are simply undebuggable by studio 12. The irony of course is the least stable tool in sun studio is the debugger.
I apologize for the complaining as I am quite frustrated at the moment. I love studio for its optimizing but simply having the piece of mind that the debugger will work when needed would be lov

  • Logic Pro 9 is unstable on my system and just keeps getting worse.  Any ideas?

Hello all, so, I've had a Mac Pro, Quad-Core 2.93 GHz Intel Xeon, 16 GB RAM, Mac Pro running Snow Leopard for about 3 years now. I use Logic Pro 9 (Academic Version) and it is really, really unstable. It seems to go through periods of getting worse, but lately it's been unbearable. I am a professional and I find it hard to believe that this software is allowed to have the word "Pro" in the name if it's this unstable for everyone. But, it seems that only some people have the issues I have. Off the top of my head, a few of the main issues are: CPU spiking like crazy (when the Activity Monitor says very little usage by Logic), I know some of the workarounds like making more auxes and splitting up the load, but this is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to work around a professional piece of software just to use it. Sometimes the CPU spikes with one instrument or one audio channel and nothing going on. It's really messed up.Then there's the memory errors when Logic is only using 1GB or RAM, IF THAT. I don't understand this at all, it also can happen in a fully loaded session or with barely anything going on. Then there are the random crashes that make no sense. There's also the part where it does not agree with many LEGIT-OWNED plugins, like Refx Nexus, XFER Nerve, most of the UAD plugins and many more. There's literally a TON more bugs, but these are the big and obvious ones that ruin my workflow. I have not been able to find a real fix for this, from deleting the preferences to reinstalling. I really don't understand it and Logic seems to work much better for other people I know. It also runs much smoother on my really crappy, old laptop. There's nothing wrong with the Mac Pro (other than it's probably self destructing like we all know Apple products do, but this has been a problem since the day I purchased it), it passes all tests and runs perfectly with any other software - from audio/video editing (Cubase, Ableton, Pro Tools, Final Cut, etc. all run like a dream) to video games. So, I really am fed up with this because I've been using Logic for so long that I really don't want to switch to a new DAW. That would slow down my workflow even more than Logic's crashes already do. Someone please help me, if you can.

    Pancenter...
Yes... but I have come across some setups that came with a native SL (and even one Lion!) installation.. that somehow had a corrupted or older Prokit installed for some unknown reason... and given it's a quick fix to try.. I thought I'd mention it..
I frankly don't think it is entirely a Prokit issue itself, but it wouldn't do any harm to try and install v7 just in case it is part of the problem...
    +1 on the UAD stuff....
Also, at the time it crashed... according to the logs...the OP was running Ableton Live at the same time, presumably rewired with Logic... so add all that together with UAD plugins... and that's quite a load on the system...
Finally in thread 32 there is a weird exception msg relating to the Trash2 plugin.. that I haven't seen before...
    Thread 32:
    0   libSystem.B.dylib

    4   libSystem.B.dylib

That might be nothing... but as i said, I haven't seen that one before and given what else is going on.. it might be involved too... or nothing to do with that at all!

  • Lightroom 5 sluggish and unstable (esp. book module)

I recently downloaded a trial of Lightroom 5 (then updated to 5.2) in order to evaluate its photo book creation capabilites. Apart from the program being sluggish in use (on an Intel Q6600 CPU running Win 7 Pro 32-bit with 4GB RAM and an SSD boot drive), the process went fairly well up until the time where I uploaded the book to Blurb.
The program kept crashing during the render of the 102-page book (also during Export to PDF render, despite lowering the PDF driver’s resolution settings as advised in the Readme file). There was no pattern to when it crashed; I removed tags, star ratings, set and reset background colour, etc. but to no avail as had been suggested on various forums (sometimes by Adobe support). Then one time (out of around 30), it completed the job. I monitored RAM usage, disc space and CPU temperature and all were absolutely fine. My machine runs cool and stable. When this kept happening, a quick Google revealed numerous people having the same problem, with Adobe conceding this.
I really like Lightroom and what it does; however, I'm struggling to justify spending  money on a product which is sluggish and unstable.
I sincerely hope that Adobe will address these issues soon, but I'm not convinced they know what's causing them. Lightroom 5.2 didn’t seem to fix any of them and I find it difficult to understand how such a buggy product made it out the door of Adobe’s offices.
I wonder how widespread this is. Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Yes! I have just find it hopeless, and contacting customer care on the matter is virtually impossible.

  • HP Pavilion dv7 2215sa memory upgrade to 8gb becomes unstable

I have a HP DV7 2215sa laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit ed and it has 4GB of Ram.
I wanted to upgrade the mem to 8GB to bought two 4GB mem from Crucial and experienced the following problems:
    1. Turned on the laptop after the upgrade and got 'Windows is loading file' message. After that, windows didn't load and saw the HP logo again (as you would do when you start the machine up). Then was presented with two options..... start windows normally or load windows repair (something like that, I can't remeber the exact message). With Either option selected, the machine just goes into the same bootup loop and you then presented with the same two options.
    >>>>> Did a system check on the machine, i.e. checked memory and hardisk and they passed successfully. (System check being the option you go to when see the HP logo and press F2 i think....??)
    2. Machine boots up after system check and......windows starts to load up, but crashes when I get to login prompt.
    3. Restart machine again, Windows doesn't load and I get those previous two options again.....selsct load windows normally and....windows loads up! I manage to log in! I casn browse the web, load applications...and its quite fast but notice something strange. The screen flashes (just the once) and my wireless connection dies for about 5 minutes, i.e. get crossed symbol in the wirless icon as if to say its been disbaled when its not. The blue light is still on for wirless though on the laptop.
    4. Wireless recovers. Run Go on to firefox, try to update it.....the update fails. Load itunes, it requires an update.....when it tries to download the update from apple, it gets a download rate that reminiscent of dialup...Kill, the download and acquire the latest file from Apple. Windows then tells me that the download in unverified and that it cant be trusted. **bleep**? Try this a number of times and then eventually it manages to accept the file somehow. But the drama doesn't end there, th install cycles about 5/6 times and then it eventually installs the application. (It was the 64bit version, 32bit couldn't be installed as advised by apple).
    5. Rebooted the machine about three times and managed to log in all three times but still seemed unstable (i.e. firefox still didn't update).
    6. Next day, started the machine.....BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH.....something about memory management. didn't get the error message recorded but knew it was to do with memory.
I've got my laptop working again by re-installing my old memory.
    The modules that I bought were....... DDR310600 1.5V 4GB (x2)
My current modules are Samsung PC3-10600 2GB
I didn't try installing one module at a time to see which one was faulty because I was annoyed and just returned the memory back.
Has anyone had a similar experience with the same if not similar laptop? And if so, how did you manage to upgrade your laptop to 8GB?
    Thanks,
    Dav

    Hi,
Try the following to manually replace the driver for the optical drive.
    1.  Download the following utility that will add 'Take Ownership' to the right click context menu.  The download is on the following link.
    Take Ownership
This is a zipped file.  If you don't have an extraction utility installed, download and install 7-Zip  ( if you have a 64bit version of Windows, you will need this version 7-Zip ) which can be used to open this so that you can run the installer.  Then just right click the zipped folder, select 7-Zip and select Extract Files.  When done, open the newly extracted folder and you will find the utility to add 'Take Ownership' to the right click menu.  Just double click it to install and then close the window.
    2.  Open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager, open up DVD/CD-ROM Drives.  Right click the drive and select uninstall and click the prompt to complete this.
    3.  Click the Start Menu, open Computer, double click Local Disk C, open the folder 'Windows', open the folder 'System32', right click the folder 'drivers' and select Take Ownership.
Just below this folder, open the folder 'DriverStore', open the folder 'FileRepository', open the folder that starts 'cdrom.inf', right click the 'cdrom.sys' file and select Copy.
Close all open windows and then Paste this file on your Desktop.
    4.  Once again, click the Start Menu, open Computer, double click Local Disk C, open the folder 'Windows', open the folder 'System32', then this time open the folder 'drivers', right click and select Paste.  You should now get a prompt that the file already exists - select the Copy and Replace option and click on any further prompts to complete this.
When done, close all open windows and restart the notebook - when Windows reloads let it install the device driver and then let it idle for a couple of minutes.
Check if the drive now works correctly.
    Regards,
    DP-K

  • QaaWS-swf in InfoView: unstable connection

    Hallo,
we designed a dashboard using QaaWS to connect to live data. On a local machine, the Xcelsius-swf works fine. Once I publish it to InfoView and open it online, the connection seems to be "unstable"? After several minutes (2 to 3) when I navigate the dashboard so the QaaWS has to refresh the data, I get the following error message for each QaaWS:
soapenv:Server.generalException: Unable to reconnect to the CMS. The session has been logged off or has expired. (FWM 01002)
After closing the dashboard, InfoView also shows an error message:
An error has occurred: Unable to reconnect to the CMS. The session has been logged off or has expired. (FWM 01002)
The timeout is set to 20 minutes, so this should not be the problem. Also, when I navigate through WebI, the InfoView connection stays stable. The problem seems to occur only when swfs, using QaaWS are opened.
Any suggestions what to do to keep the connection alive would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Kevin,
I have been having touble with Xcelsius and had seen a similar error to this. I was accessing through BI Widgets and the application was shutting down. I was also getting the same error, but had assumed the problem was with my server.
We reinstalled and created a new BOE environment and created a simple qaaws application. This ran fine updating 12 times a minute. At this point I closed the issue I had raised with the SAP/BO, concentrating on the other issues.
However, after I recreated my original dashboard, I found the problem reoccurred. The default session timeout was 1 minute. What I found was that I could get around the problem by refreshing the qaaws query more frequently than that. As my data was only really updating every 15 minutes this resulted in a lot of unncessary queries to the database but at least the user was not seeing the error
I then looked at creating the query through live office, as I noticed the a second dashobard I had created with Live Office did not seem to be suffering the same problem. I was able to get this working without the session time out and the high number of database queries.
I realise these are more workarounds the fixes but I hope it helps
    Regards
    Alan

  • Mavericks 10.9.3 Blue Screen on start up and system unstable

I wonder if anyone is experiencing the same issue. After the last Safari update that I think was May 22nd 2014, My MBPro has been unstable. When booting up there is a brief dark blue screen with white Apple logo or occasionally a light blue screen with a white Apple Logo. The start up seems fine but the Mac becomes unstable after a while with the Finder crashing, apps hang which especially happens in FCPX or run really slowly and sometimes the Mac hangs when shutting down either showing a blank grey screen or the desktop wallpaper.
I read various forum articles and blogs, web site articles and have failed to find a solution. So far individually deleted each one of the start up items and did a restart each time to see if one of these was causing an issue. I now have no start up items and still have the blue screen.
I ran a disc check and did find some issues which I tried to repair. This failed so formatted the SDD. reinstalled Mavericks from a USB Stick with all files and settings from Time Machine to see if this worked. The SDD is now fine but still getting the blue screen.
Have on several occasions verified disc permissions using the disc utility. The only error that pops up seems to be with some help resource files associated with Safari. Have repaired these but the issue seems to return.
Besides the last OSX updates, I have not installed any new apps on my MBP and can't think of any other changes made since May 22nd. I can’t think of anything else that can be wrong unless there is some sort of sneaky virus or trojan lurking somewhere but Mac’s don’t suffer from these do they? Anyway always had Norton running, firewalls etc.
Any thoughts, solutions etc. gratefully received.

Barney-15E responded to my earlier question re the progress bar by writing that the progress bar appears only during a safe boot. What is a "safe boot?" Except for the last two days (out of a bit more than four years), the progress bar always showed up. Can someone explain what "safe" means and how you can do a safe boot v. a normal boot?
    Thank you.
