Hi,
Noticing getting message MON00027 Unknown error next to Adaptive Processing Server.
No users on box apart from me and get this even after stop/start SIA.
Any ideas?

Getting "Unknown Error has Occurred" After Project Server 2013 DB Restore

Hi All,
I have restored our content and pwa databases as per Microsoft's guide, one Project Web App works fine and the other has the error "An Unknown Error has Occurred" on the projects view and also when viewing Enterprise Project Types.
Another thing I have noticed is that only the Sys Admin has access to the project sites even though users have been added as admins etc.
We are patched to the December 2013 CU / Hotfix and I have also run the provided service scripts by Microsoft to go with the hotfix.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated as we are looking to test SP1 and apply to our production environment.

PowerShell has a command called. Test-SPContentDB.
Run the TEST-SPContentDB powershell command on database and see if it provides additional information.

An unknown error occurred while validating the server dns

I am getting this error on the forwarder on my dc/DNs server which has a forwarder. Other DNS/DC servers have the same ip and are not getting the error validating the dns forwarder. only this one which is a 2008r2 dc just promoted. any idea?

Please make sure that there is no firewall / router that is blocking DNS traffic.
The problem persists if you disable EDNS0?

HTML file Error while Processing in Application server AL11

Hi Experts,
I have SAP workload data in HTML file and IF i download it using GUI_DOWNLOAD, I am successfully able to access the file.
But Further:
1) I am uploading the above mentioned downloaded file in binary mode.
2) Converting binary to xstring
3) Adding and saving to ZIP folder using class CL_ABAP_ZIP
4) Converting back ZIP file to Binary mode
5) Transferring it to sever path using dataset ( character by character)
But after transfer, I try to access file using T code AL11, there file is created by on opening, it shows HTML tag along with the data i.e formatting error.
How to handle this.

Hi,
Try downloading the file from application server using the transaction CG3Y, while saving the file, save as HTML file.
Still if you find the formatting error, then open the view -> source code of the HTML page, and adjust the space, line space, alignment etc if any, will resolve your issue.

I have tried to request refunds on two third party apps which fail in full to work as they were advertised. I receiving the following error on both refund requests,
An unknown error occurred processing your refund request. Please try again later.

ORA-28750 Unknown Error while trying to execute an external app's API call?

New to using web services in PLSQL
Environment
Database: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bi
PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
CORE 10.2.0.4.0 Production
TNS for Linux IA64: Version 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.4.0 - Production

RedHat ES 3.0 and Oracle Application Server 9.0.4 (IAS release 1)
We are designing a plsql application, that is able to call an external application's webservice APIs. We have created an oracle wallet for this, where we have successfully imported the corrrect security certificate issued by the API provider.
All we are trying to do is to call one of the methods (LOGIN), which should login the provided user into the application and should return a valid session id. For this, I have a function, http_request, which first establishes the request to the URI. The code is failing at this call, with following error:
ORA-29273: HTTP request failed
ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_HTTP", line 1029
ORA-28750: unknown error
I could not find more information on ORA-28750..?
Here is the function cal, in our application package:

Hi All,
Upon investigation found that there was no space (0 Byte is available) in E drive where underlying SQL DB is residing.
Once I cleared the space, report started working and above error was not displaying.

When I run the report on production I got the following error message:

It hasn’t happen on Dev and Test before.
I googled, The error is described as:
12019 ERROR_INTERNET_INCORRECT_HANDLE_STATE
The requested operation cannot be carried out because the
handle supplied is not in the correct state.
But I cannot find the solution for that.
Has it happend to you before? How to solve that?

I am not able to run Report in Report viewer due to the below error:

'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 501 Unknown error

I am facing an error in communication channel while trying to post the file to the FTP server,
The error is " Message processing failed. Cause: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: An error occurred while connecting to the FTP server '10.100.5.00:20'. The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 501 Unknown error'. For details, contact your FTP server vendor"

FTP 501 Error is: "Syntax error in parameters or arguments"
Also, i see that the ftp address and port mentioned in your case is:
10.100.5.00:20
Hence, i see three probable issues here.
1. FTP Port :
Just check if the FTP server's port number '20' mentioned in your case is open as this is the data connection port. Moreover, the default port mentioned while creating a file channel is 21. Just check about the port number '20' with the FTP server administrator if this port number is opened and functioning.
2. FTP server address:
Also, try giving your FTP Server's address as 10.100.5.0
3. Also, check if the FTP server is reachable from the PI Server by using a simple ping command.

Adaptive Processing Server failed

Hi,
I installed BO XI 3.1 on a windows 2003 platform. All servers were running well. After that I installed Crystal reports 2008 sp1.
Now 2 servers fail to start: Adaptive Processing Server and Multi-Dimensional Analysis Services Server.
How can I fix this?

Adaptive Processing Server Failed to start

Hi People,
I have BOXI3.1 installed on my windows XP machine. Everything worked fine with the BOE. I was able to create and publish reports, audit events etc. Since yesterday, I am not able to schedule any documents and also all the auditing reports throw a message 'Connection Failed' . When I checked the server list on CMC, I saw that Adaptive Processing Server has stopped and after tryin to restart, it failed to come up.
I traced the log files and have the following log. Any help with this regard will be greatly appreciated.

I have searched the internet but most similar issues revolve around the resource center. I did find one person who just backed up the databases and provisioned a new site with success, but this has not worked. I am using the farm admin account, but all users
get this issue.

Project Server 2010 Task page - An unknown error has occurred

It's not a task related errors because i have alredy done an analysis of the resorce's assignments.
I have also verified IIS authentication settings as described in this
post but all had been alredy correctly configured.
We have a farm installation with two physical server:
Application Server with Windows 2008 R2, SharePoint 2010 Enterprise, Project Server 2010
Database Server with Windows 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008 SP2
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I faced exactly the same problem: some resources try to connect to My Tasks, and get an Unknown error. No error message in ULS or Eventlog.
I hope I solved the problem, and want to share the experience here.
First, by reading this article,

the problem, by assigning a test account on them, and see that the pb happened).
So I decided to delete my project from the Published Database (and keep it in the Draft of course). Than in Project Pro, I opened and Published: the problem seem to be solved.
I don't know the root cause of the pb: maybe some SQL data were corrupted for an unknown reason.
