Bob classic spam problem from Yahoo

Hi, I have a bb 10 classic, one of my email clients is Yahoo webmail, when I log in to yahoo from my PC or ipad the spam filters on yahoo block sending these devices spam emails..... BUT with my BB classic the spam is getting past the filter and distributing the spam emails to my be device????? Very annoying! Does anyone know a solution, support has told me this is because the device and blackberry servers are pulling the mail straight from the yahoo mail server prior to the yahoo spam filter blocking the emails????. Someone please provide me with a solution!!!!, is there a setting on the device, how do I resolve this issue? Thank, dmp

Check your folder sync settings in Hub and see if trash or junk folder is check. If so, uncheck and save settings.
Afterward you may still have the old spam in the Hub. If it is a few, you can just go through and delete. If it is a large number, then reset the Hub. To do this, swipe down from top right diagonally towards bottom left. Do so four or five times in a row. The Hub will reset. It takes some practice and trial and error to keep from dragging down the quick settings, but trust me it works.

I received a few emails on my alternate accounts with spam sent from my iphone. The spam is in my sent mail folder so Iphone is definitely source.
Home laptop is security protected and doesn't show spam in sent mail folders.
Anyone else have this problem??

Your iPhone is most definitely not the source. It is more likely your password was compromised and webmail was used. This also explains why you see mail in your sent folder on the iPhone.
Change your password again and make sure it is a strong password. Also make sure you do not use the same password that you use for other sites on the web.

Safari 6.0.2 problems with Yahoo Mail Classic "Compose"

Since upgrading to Mountain Lion I have had two problems using Yahoo Mail “Classic” in Safari 6.0.2 (8536.26.17).
First when composing a new message, the Formatting Toolbar is missing.
Second, contacts do not appear as I type in the To:/Cc:/Bcc: address sections of a message, nor does the address book if I click on To:/Cc:/Bcc:
All Yahoo Mail features work correctly with Firefox & Chrome, it seems as though Safari is the only browser with an issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There's a chance you might be able to get it to work by enabling the Develop menu in Safari's Advanced preferences, then selecting Develop > Disable Site-specific Hacks. I don't recommend it, though. Just use another browser for that site.

No. You can't. Filtering would have to be done at the server level.

When I download to print from Yahoo mail, I only get 1/2 a page - I have eliminated the printer as a problem

When I download from Yahoo mail, only 1/2 the page shows in preview and only 1/2 is printed. I have eliminated a printer problem. Any help appreciated.

Open System Preferences > Print & Scan > Print
Click Open Print Queue
Delete all files in the print queue.
Quit and relaunch Safari and try printing the email.
If that didn't help, empty the Safari cache.
Command + Option + E then relaunch Safari and try again.

Bulk/spam mail, how can i stop it coming from yahoo mail

I have my iphone setup to send my emails to my iphone as I have yahoo mail. like the yahoo mail i can click on one box and delete all my bulk/spam mail with one click, but they also go to my iphone and what a paid deleting over 40 spam mails a day one by one, anyway either to stop my spam mail from going to my iphone and just stay in my yahoo mail where i can delete it there instead of from my iphone and or also is there a way if i cant do that, then delete all the spam mail with one click like i can in yahoo mail. Help.

Andrew: how do you train Yahoo mail to start putting spam in the proper folder and what folder is the folder? also I went into my iPhone and there was about 10 junk emails so i went into my yahoo mail and deleted all of them in my inbox and spam/bulk mail box and erased all of them and then emptied my trash even and i then hooked up the iphone and itunes came up ofcourse and did its thing and the emails are still in the iPhone. ???

Mail app downloading spam / junk email from Yahoo

I use yahoo as my email service, and I also download mail from yahoo to the Mail app onmy ipad3. I have noticed that the app is also downloading spam or junk email rather than email that is only in the inbox.
Can someone tell me how to only download mail from the inbox?

The iPad mail app has no filters for spam and junk mail. You have to set those filters on the server in your Yahoo mail account.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

you'll have to set it up as a new phone. You have no choice. If you've been using your phone as recommended, you should have little, if any, data loss.

My popups won't work. Ex....I can't print an email from Yahoo. Popup blocker is turned off

I just got a pc with windows 8 and I can't use firefox as I can't print emails from yahoo for example....i am assuming that's a popup window that isn't working, but i have pop ups enabled.

Usually Firefox's built-in popup blocker won't block a window if you clicked a link or button to open it. It is designed to block windows that open without you taking a specific action.
One possibility is that the link/button is in a part of the page that is "blocked" by an invisible element. Another possibility is that the script that opens the window is not running correctly.
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Cannot receive email from Yahoo

I have 2 POP email accounts from Yahoo. Both have worked fine for about a year. All of the sudden on Nov 1st, I can no longer receive email only on one of the accounts with Mac Mail. The second account continues to function fine. I also have no issues accessing my mail through a browser.
So far I have done the following;
-I have verified with yahoo that all the settings are correct.
-I deleted the first account with the problem and then recreated it. When I did this it downloaded ALL the email messages on the server but only up unitl Nov 1st when I started having the issue. I received no email messages sent after Nov 1st.
-I set-up the email account on a Win XP box (same network) with Outlook Express and was able to download ALL the messages including ones after Nov 1st.

I went into Yahoo webmail and deleted a few emails on the date when I stopped receiving email. Magically, all my subsequent emails were were delivered to my MAC email client. One of the emails must have contained something that created an issue for Macmail. I have had no problems since.

I can open it fine, but 2 out of 3 times when I try to actually open a message, the spinning ball comes on the screen and does not stop. Sometimes, I can log out or force quit and come back in to my account and use it. Other times, I run into the same problem. Any suggestions?

No, your Yahoo account is not in iCloud (which only handles iCloud mail), it is in Yahoo, and the Yahoo mail account is on your iPad.

Get the correct settings for your account from Yahoo and set it up manually.
By the way, I also find the "password" issue problematical. It seems Apple want my Apple password rather than my eMail password. All very confusing.

Switching back to Webmail from yahoo

I am a new subscriber to the Verizon FiOS and somehow managed to select to use Yahoo to access my email. I cannot get Yahoo to take my sign in (and yes...I have double and triple checked to make sure I am entering it correctly I'd like to access my mail through the webmail. How can I switch it back? Is it possible? Thanks!!

Firefox crashes when I try to print from Yahoo mail and some web sites

I am running Mac, OSX 10.4.11. Firefox has automatically upgraded me to version 3.6.15 and variations in between for months now.
I have been having problems printing to my Epson CS5800F for at least a couple of weeks if not months. I'm not really sure which version it began with, only that it's been weeks.
Printing from web sites is intermittent. From Yahoo! mail it is almost daily. I have downloaded and reinstalled the Epson printer drivers which seemed to solve the problem for about a day. Then I was right back where I started. I am very frustrated and aggravated because I need to be able to print e-mail and web site information. And I did not have this problem in the past.
Is there a fix for this problem? Can I revert back to an earlier version of Firefox where I did not have this problem? I cannot upgrade my OSX to fix this... as this is not an option on this Mac.

I am looking at your about: crashes advice to find crash incidences, but there is no "about: crashes" on my location bar... I have 8 options under about and none of them say crashes.

Okay... i pasted it below, as I didn't read that far down before I posted it here. I cannot find the Crash ID(s) which would be in multiples this past week.
I have submitted all crash reports, at the time of crashing, or so it seems, as the crash report window says it will report my crashes. There have been many in the past week... too many to count. And, I have requested help in the last 3 or 4 of them... and entered my e-mail address, plus a request for assistance, but so far, no replies or information has been submitted back to me at my e-mail address. So, I am wondering if this really works, and if you are getting my reports at all.
I really need to get this problem fixed so I can stop wasting so much time restarting and copying and pasting items into text to print. This is not how a browser should work. And I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback I can get to resolve this problem asap. I need to be efficient in my work and this is not allowing that.
