BOB web shop _ Sales Contract

Hi
Can i use SALES CONTRACT / Sales Contract Determination in BOB scenario?
If yes, how? I have not seen "Contract Determination" selection box in SHOPADMIN when i have defined BOB shop.

Hi,
In CRM E-Commerce BOB Web shop we have a requirement wherein new customer creation should go through a duplicate check. Only unique customers should be created as BP in backend GUI, in case a customer already exists with the same credentials, BP should not be created and user should get a message that the customer already exist in the system.
Currently the system is not preventing me from creating new customers with same credentials.
In case anybody has worked on the similar requirement or has any idea about the same, Kindly help.

How are B2B and BOB web shops differentiated?

Hi Experts,
I am have a requirement where in i have to diaplay a table with 10 columns. In B2B i have to display all the 10 columns but in BOB i have to display the same table with only 7 columns. How can i differentiate this display of B2B and BOB? Based on what they have differentiated the B2B and BOB shops? Is there any flag which checks whether it is a B2B or BOB, if so can you please provide some inputs of how to go about it?

Std web shop behavior if a Wrong Product is input in the Sales Order page

Hi Experts,
In a B2B/BOB web shop, when a product is entered into the sales order screen manually, does the system run a standard validation as to check if the product exists in the product catalog ? Is there any documentation on this kind of standard web shop behavior ?

Hello,
Where are you seeing the dump? There will not be any dump in the defaulttrace file when a wrong product is entered.
ideally on the jsp it says check product number. this is the std behavior. Below error message will be shown
At least one item is faulty; check faulty items before continuing. Go to first faulty item
Product xyz was not found.

Internet sales R/3 -- Web shop creation

Dear friends,
I am creating a new web shop in internet sales web shop maintenance portal. Also I have created a product catalog in R/3 & assigned the same in the new web shop. Product catalog is replicated to trex server through ISA_CATALOG_REPLICATION program.
Now when I try to log in to the new web shop , system gives a message "variant language does not match, the shop you are using is maintained inconsistently.
I have checked the variant, language & it is correct. I am unable to figure out what is wrong.
Can you let me know what is wrong here.

Hi Sharan,
in R/3 internet sales you have languages maintained on 3 places:
(1) in the definition of the catalog variant
(2) in the webshop admin
(3) the language that you use to call the webshop (in the URL).
Those need to be all the same.

Contract price in Web shop

Hello
We use CRM E-commerce 4.0 for web shop, when navigate to product catalog in web shop, for the same product, we ascertain all the contract prices are same as the non-contract prices, e.g. for product A, we define PR01 price as 200, and quantity contract 1 with PR01 price 180, and quantity contract 2 with PR01 price 150, but all those 3 prices for product A displaying in web shop catalog are 200.
Is anybody able to give me an idea?

If I understand you correctly (pl. correct me if not)
For creation of SC in EBP you are using catalog products (from CCM).
You have contract catalog also replicated from EBP to CCM .
and you want when any item for which there is a contract in contract catalog the price in EBP SC should be updated with contract price.
For this you need to do following customizing:
SRM IMG->SRM ->SRM server->Master data->Define external web services->select yr catalog in which items are ther->go to details->and flag the field" Display contract data in integrated catalog".

1.Access the activity using the following navigation options:
http://<host>:<port>/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do?scenario.xcm=<yourscenario>
2.Select a logon language, for example EN.
3.Logon to the Web Shop Management with the Web Shop Manager user/password. 4.Choose Create New Shop for scenario and select the Internet Sales scenario, for example Internet Sales B2B or Internet Sales B2C via dropdown list.5.Create a Web Shop for each language you want to offer.

Communication Structures called in the E-Commerce web shop orders

Hi Experts,
When we create orders in e-commerce B2B / BOB / B2C web shops, we get pricing elements at header and item level on the shopping basket / order page. To display these pricing elements, communication structures are called from the backend GUI. These stuctures are accessed in the SAP CRM 7.0 GUI by the T-code CRMC_MAP.
Can you please let me know the communication structures that are called for
- Pricing elements at the header level on the shopping basket / order page
- Pricing elements at the item level on the shopping basket / order page

ISA order types by web shop

Hi,
Is it possible to have more than one order type by web shop?
If the customer wants to place 2 different kind of orders from the ISA web page, how could I manage that?
Can I create 2 different shops link to the same url?

Hi Maria:
I don't think it is possible to have more than one order type per a web shop. Web shop is like a template which contains some sales document header info. When a basket is created, these information is copy to the header of the shopping basket. Therefore, it is impossible to have more than one order type per a web shop.
Second, I don't understand what do you mean by 2 different shops link to the same URL?

Hello, i'm trying to do a web shop (product catalog, sales order, users, pricing, stock) for a costumer that wants a shop online. The web shop only can be done with CRM or there is a other way? Is urgent!

The standard Internet Sales solution delivered by SAP comes in 2 flavours so that it can be run on either CRM or just R/3 - certainly this was the case with version 4.0 and I assume it is still the same.
I'm not an expert in the actual implementation so I'd suggest you search through the best practice documentation and related info from service.sap.com
As I said though, it is very important to assess your needs as the Internet Sales solution is relatively complicated - if yuo just want the ability for customers to search for products and create orders then it would be much easier to create a few custom applications, say in an Enterprise Portal or just stand alone Web Dynpro / BSP / JSP / whatever... If yuo want the full catalogue type functionality then Internet Sales is the way to go.
For an idea of what can be achieved have a google for the Sony Style website - this is an SAP ISA (Internet Sales) solution running B2C.

I am product manager for SAP Web Channel. I would like to use this forum as a channel to learn more about our customer's requirements for Web shop checkout. Also, I would like to gather new ideas from our customers and partners for a highly usable and functional Web shop checkout.
What do you think are very valuable or even u201Cmust haveu201D features in a B2B scenario Web shop checkout? You can let me know checkout features that are especially relevant for your own business process. In this respect, it would be interesting to know what B2B checkout features you developed in your E-Commerce project. However, I would also like to know what features, apart from your own specific process requirements, that you would judge as very important standard B2B checkout features. Think of features such as an Ajax search for shipping addresses or payment via direct debit or 3D Secure.
Let me tell you upfront what I roughly understand as "checkout". Checkout for me is a process typically triggered by a 'Checkout' button in the shopping basket. As a result, a checkout page gets called. On this page or accross different sequent pages the customer is requested to enter or select certain information such as billing and shipping address(es) and payment data. This information is required by the Web shop owner in order to fulfill the customer order.
All your ideas, feedback, and thoughts on this topic are very welcome. Please understand that providing your ideas and requirements on the checkout will not necessarily mean that SAP will develop them in the future. But every idea will broaden my mind on what are the market requirements regarding this topic.
I hope that I can start an interesting discussion for all of you here in the forum. I will provide points for interesting ideas, thoughts and requirements.

Regarding the pricing I understand your point in a way that it should be possible to display more price details in the basket or at least in the order overview of the checkout (before submitting the basket as a sales order). Meaning it should be possible to more easily switch on the display of price details like subtotal, customer discount in the basket and order overview. Is my understanding correct?

Interaction Center Mode functionality in B2C Web shop

We have a requirement in which sales rep of a company will pre-populate a shopping cart for the customer in B2C Web shop. Later customer can order that shopping cart.
We are trying to achieve this requirement through Call/Interaction Center Mode functionality.
If anybody has worked on this functionality before or has any idea, please share.

Hi,
I have configured the call center mode functionality in spro (Customer Relationship Management -> Web Channel -> Basic Settings -> Activate Links from CRM WebClient UI to Web Channel Applications -> Start Web Shop in Interaction Center Mode) with the help of information given on help.sap.com.
Now I can see B2C Web shop link on Web UI. The problem when I click on the link it's working if the URL in the backend is of google.com but not working for B2C Web shop. I think the problem is with the role assigned to the user.

How to restrict Material Class in Sales Contract Doc

I need to restrict Material Class in Sales order based on Item catagory, Material group4 and Sales contract Document type.
If the above 3 fields having a particular value then the system should restrict all the other classes of that material and display only a particular class and it's related characteristics.
If any one come across such a senario then pklease let me know.

Error while opening the B2C Web Shop

Hi All,
Our Basis team has installed the JAVA Stack for CRM 7.0 EHP1. We can successfully open the XCM page for the web shop using the following URL: http://host:port/b2c/admin/xcm/init.do.
We get a SAP E-Commerce Error page when we try to launch the B2C Web Shop using the following URL:
http://host:port/b2c/b2c/init.do. The following error messages are shown along with a "Log On" button:
An application error occurred
A serious system error has occurred
The shoplist read from buffer is empty
Contact the administrator
Log on
I have created the Internet B2C Users& specific roles and also done the XCM Configurations (New customer configuration, General Settings & JCO Component created). Restarted the Java Application. However we still get the same error page while launching the web shop. Please help us to rectify this error.
Also I get a blank-white page when I try to open this URL for maintaining a B2C Shop: http://host:port/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do?configuration.xcm=Z_MY_SCENARIO
I can successfully open the URL for SHOPADMIN XCM: http://host:port/shopadmin/admin/xcm/init.do
Please help us to resolve the issue. How can we maintain the SHOP? Have we missed some configurations?

I am not able to open the shopadmin URL for defining a new B2C web shop. This URL does not work : http://host:port/shopadmin/shopadmin/init.do?configuration.xcm=ZMY_SCENARIO. I just get a white blank page.
I can open the XCM for shopadmin using teh URL: http://host:port/shopadmin/admin/xcm/init.do.
