BODI-20030 Job Server configuration Error

Dear all BODI experts,
Maybe this is a clasical issue,
But before i wrote down this thread, i had already tried to find solutions for this BODI-20030 error and yet it's still occured.
I'm using BODI XI R2 Acc
Designer 11.7.3.12
JobServer Not Responding
JobEngine Not Responding
Repository 11.7.0.0000
OS : Windows Server 2003 Enterprise 32 Bit
Database : MS SQL 2005 Enterprise
I had already created Repository for the BODI and when I want to configure the Job Server on The Data Integrator Server Manager below error is occured:
"BODI-20030: Error: Cannot save a job server to repository <DEMO_BODI_JOB_sa> version <11.7.0.0000> of the product. Please upgrade the repository to version <11.7.0.0000> or later."
I already check in the Repository Manager that my repository is already 11.7.0.0000 and when i want to upgrade it, it's said that the repository is already updated.
I already try to change my regional setting on the windows to English (United Stated), English (Australia), English (UK) but the problem is still occured.
Can someone help me out about this matter ?
thx

Hi,
Issue is only with BODI Services that are not running so check out the services in service section of OS or else check the SQL Server is running or not.

  • NWDI for the 04s preview fails with 'SLD name-server configuration error'

After the installation, everything seems to work fine except that when I go to CMS, the links on the top seems to be hardcoded to point to http://pwdf3102:50100/dtr, even in the Domain Data. When I tried to change it to my local server, it keeps complaining about "Unexpected error; inform your system administrator: <Localization failed: ResourceBundle='com.sap.cms.util.exception.CMSExceptionMessages', ID='SLD name-server configuration error', Arguments: []> : Can't find resource for bundle java.util.PropertyResourceBundle, key SLD name-server configuration error"
Any suggestions on how to work around this? Thanks.

    Brian,
Try to import the model file first by going to SLD->Administration->Import CIM Model. If the problem sticks, then try to remove the systems. The preview version has lots of pre-exist system name in the technical system, which you can find giving errors since they're not reachable. So you can remove them from SLD (Home->Technical Systems) if they are preventing you from procceeding.
You need to go to http://server:port/dtr/system-tools/administration/NameServerConfiguration to update the name server as well.
    Hope this helps...

  • Server Configuration Error

I'm setting up 10.4.5 Server for the first time, and I've managed to get all of my services running correctly except the mail server. I've searched the discussions and tried some of the suggestions without success.
Briefly, I cannot receive mail from outside of my network. I can send mail out, I can send and receive mail within the network, the email client authenticates and checks the accounts, and I can access everything via WebMail (thanks to the suggestions here). Multiple tests from DNStuff haven't been helpful to me.
I'm adding the postconf -n results as well as a rejected email and some log entries.

Well, spamhaus is listed twice, the first time incorrectly as noted.
You can use the "mapsrbldomains = " syntax, but your Postfix logs themselves will tell you this is now deprecated.
Agreed though: a good idea to separate the rbl options on their own line.
    smtpdclientrestrictions = permit_mynetworks
    rejectrblclient sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org rejectrblclient dnsbl.sorbs.net
If you indent with whitespace then the line will not be interpreted as a new restriction but part of the prior one.
So you could even format it as:
    smtpdclientrestrictions = permit_mynetworks
    rejectrblclient sbl-xbl.spamhaus.org
    rejectrblclient dnsbl.sorbs.net
If you're serious about taking full advantage of the anti-UCE abilities of Postfix, I suggest reading at http://www.postfix.org/docs.html
starting at UCE/Virus. Ignore linux and other OS-specific tips, or proceed with caution.
    http://jimsun.linxnet.com/misc/postfix-anti-UCE.txt
    http://www.mengwong.com/misc/postfix-uce-guide.txt
    http://www.mengwong.com/misc/postfix-uce-guide.txt
    http://sbserv.stahl.bau.tu-bs.de/~hildeb/postfix/
Of course, use at your own risk. But if used judiciously, also your benefit. Backup all config files before editing.

  • BODI Job Server configuration issue

    Hi All,
This is probably trivial but I cannot figure this out.
I am trying to configure the JOB SERVER on the server (Solaris).
After I enter the Oracle connection to the repository it gives an error:
Central repository is not allowed to associate with any Job Server. UNABLE to Update the repository.
    (the produced log-file is empty).
Is there some setup somewhere I need to do before this works ?
    Thanks for help, Timo

It looks like you are trying to link a Central Repository to a jobserver. This is not possible. Only Local Repositories can be linked to a jobserver.
A Central Repository is used in a multi-user environment for sharing objects and also as a version-control system, not to execute jobs.
If you accidentally created a Central Repo, you can use the repository manager to re-create it as a local repository. Be aware that this will erase all data in the Central Repo.

  • Job server giving error when accessing from other servers and clients

I am facing one issue at customer site with DS 4.0.
    -     Job Servers are installed on two machines M1 and M2. JS1 on M1 and JS2 on M2.
    -     Both the job servers are in server group
    -     Sitting on machine M1, I am able to run jobs selecting JS1 and JS2 individually
    -     On Machine M2, JS2 is working fine however while running jobs on JS1 it says Job Server is not working
o     In Designer screen, I can see the job server icon at the bottom without cross mark, which means it is working. However, when I move the cursor on this icon, following text is displayed on the tray
Job Server: (servername:3500) - notification server error (BODI-1241023)
I have checked the firewall on both the servers, and port 3500 is open.
Any idea what the problem can be?

  • Integration Server configuration error

    Hi all,
I have an issue with the XI Integration server configuration.
When I have tested the configuration I have detected that there is an error in the Integration server (transaction SXMB_ADM)
    The value was:
    http://xxx:xxxx:/sap_xi/engine?type=entry
    instead of
    http://xxx:xxxx/sap_xi/engine?type=entry
note that the fisrt value have : after the port number.
I have tested the SLD Bussines System configuration and had the same issue, I have solved too.
But when I execute the test for integration server in transaction SXMB_ADM i have the next message:
Corresponding Integration Server: Current Configuration <> System Landscape
For the SLD Role of Bussines System the value in this test is the old value, not the new.
Could somebody tell me if i forget something?
    Thanks in advance,
    RP

    Hello Carpathianna,
No judgment here on the music you listen to, I have that song too in my library. If iTunes is telling you that the song is missing and you purchased it from the iTunes Store, then just delete it from your iTunes library and then download your song again. Check out the articles below for more information.

When I type the button test, I receive “Authentication error. Check the authenticated access to the Exchange Server for Microsoft NTLM authentication scheme.”
My Exchange Server is synchronized with MS Active Directory. As far as I know, Kerberous is used for authentication. So, how can I enable NTLM authentication scheme on AD? Are there any other options for Cisco MPE and Exchange synchronization?
    Thanks for help

  • PCM Server configuration error

    Hi,
We are trying to install PCM (profitability and cost management). We installed SQL Server in one of our system and PCM in another server. In the configuration wizard database connection test was successful but in the last step its giving error "Failed to connect to the Primary Server. The following error occured: 8004OE4D ErrorCode 80040e4d.
I tried so many things but can't able to finalize configuration.
    Regards,
    Subhadip

ServerAdmin just doesn't always record it's changes properly....
Most mail admins will need to deal with editing/tweaking the system through command-line (as you have discovered).
If I use the GUI, I've gotten into the habit of comparing config files before/after changes, like this:
    Before saving a change
    sudo ditto /etc /etc2
Then make changes in ServerAdmin and save.
    diff -r /etc /etc2
And I'll scan through the output to make sure the changes were correct (also a good learning tool)
when satisfied, I delete the backup of /etc
    rm -rf /etc2
The procedure might be a bit over-cautious... but it takes an axtra two minutes and prevents unwanted config changes before restarting mail service.

  • Aborted al_engine error while creating BODI Job Server in Linux

    Hi,
I have installed BODI in linux (in the directory /opt/app/DataIntegrator).
While configuring job server I got the following error.
Updating the repository <bodi@tdw__Oracle>. Please wait...
sh: line 1: 15850 Aborted al_engine -Ubodi -Pbodi -Stdw -NORACLE

    78
UNABLE to Update the repository <bodi@tdw__Oracle>. Please check the /tmp/al_mac
    hine.out.15678 for more details!
    SNMP is disabled.
The log file tmp/al_machine.out.15678 is of OKB and no info inside it.
I could able to solve this issue by giving chmod 777 -Rf /opt permissions. Is BODI needs 777 permissions for Job server to be created?
    Oracle is installed in /opt/app/oracle.
Can you help on this issue?
    Thanks & Regards
    Maran MK

Please test the Oracle repository connectivity from the al_engine directory so that you can rule out any connectivity issues before checking for the chmod settings.
Let me know what you find.
    Thanks & Regards
