BOE XI R3.1 and DB2 - Installation Error
Hi,
I am facing an error when installing BOE XI R3.1 in Windows Server 2003, with DB2 as database.
The error message:
Fail to validate the database information
CMS database error: STW00226
Database access error. Reason Loading shared object failed. First tried to load library db2app and failed because of error: [The specified module could not be found.
]. Second tried to load library db2app.dll and failed because of error: [The specified module could not be found.
Would much appreciate some advices on how to solve this error.
Thanks and Regards,
Yann
Hi;
please make sure that your DB2 environment is correctly set up, particularly I think the PATH environment variable should contain the folder where this db2app.dll library seats (somewhere in the DB2 client installation folder I guess).

DTM 6.0 sync error 2753 and windows installer errors, please help
I have tried install and uninstall over 5 times with the same errors
, this is what happens when i install
when i start to install DTM 6 on Win7 64bit, first message i get says.
Windows Installer, Pending Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable, it tried to install this but then says failed to install even though its already installed, therefore i cancel this carry on with the install which completes.
Now when i run the application and click on back up, i get a box saying The error message says, " The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable". It is looking for the Apploader.msi file in the C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\ directory.. i have tried looking for Apploader.msi but it does not exist so i have to cancel, if i keep pressing cancel it does eventually backup. but i can not sync as every time i try to setup the sync config setting i get a error message. error 2753 The file MsOutlookApiProxy64.exe D9D285E5_C9F0_4101_A12C_555AE1C1593F is not marked for installation
I have tried searching the web but no one can help, Like you say what the point if i can't sync.
Please if anyone can help fix this, i would regard them as genius

Photoshop Elements 4 and 3 installation error
In 2006 I bought a wacom graphire 4 tablet including photoshop elements 4 and 3. Recently I replaced my Mac (new Mac: OS X version 10.8.4 - 2.9 GHz Intel Core 15 - 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3) and now I want to install photoshop elements 4 and 3 again, and when the installation is almost finished I get an error. Please help me to install photoshop elements 4 and 3 to my new Mac.
Well, you should have known that if you upgraded to mountain lion you would lose all your ppc software. Apple has been warning that this was coming since around 2006 and PSE 3 stopped being compatible with OS X back around 10.4, after all. 10.7 has been out for over two years now, so it's not like this has been a big secret.

Writing system files: mkfs.ocfs2: Could not write: Input/output errorHi,
I'm getting the same problem. My RAC nodes are actually virtual machines created with MS Virtual Server, and the ocfs2 disk is a shared SCSI virtual hard disk.
I'm getting the "Could not write: Input/output error" message when creating a ocfs2 partition.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Iphoto and mavericks installation error?
I had iphoto and then my mac was wiped and had mavericks installed after "software errors" were detected. Now I don't have iphoto and the ap store says it will cost 15.99 to download...? I thought iphoto was standard with mac?
The OS installer doesn't include iWork or iLife applications. When you disk was erased, it removed iPhoto. Do you have a backup you can restore from?

Writing system files: mkfs.ocfs2: Could not write: Input/output errorHi,
I'm getting the same problem. My RAC nodes are actually virtual machines created with MS Virtual Server, and the ocfs2 disk is a shared SCSI virtual hard disk.
I'm getting the "Could not write: Input/output error" message when creating a ocfs2 partition.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Tiger and Panther installation error
Hi,Im new to this forum, nice to meet you all
i really hope that my problem can solve it here..
Since a week a go, my Mac was on panther10.3 had some software crashs, so i decided to re-install my OS from an 10.3 installation disk which came belong my G5, but each time it just pop up a window said"there were error during install the software, please restart and try again"
and i keep running the installation again, but it keep pop up the error, then i read some thread here and leart to run fysk test,PVRAM reset and finally I errase all my hardisk files, but it still stay the same...
then yesterday i ran to puchase OSX tiger...but it didn't solve me any problem,it was still error while installing, i read some thread said it may cause by 3rd-party ram, but it should not the problem, cause i didn't add any in it, then i ran the AHT test from my 10.3 disk, it said there was error on my memory part, and i assume it is my ram problem.....
its really frustrate me...
is that mean that my ram is over?
do i need to buy new ram?
or is there any things I can reset my ram?
what should i do now?
Thank you for your kindly help.......
My Mac spec:

G5 Mac OS X (10.4)Hi HKBU;
Before I can answer the question about fixing it, you will have to tell me more about your system like how much RAM do you have and how many memory cards are installed.
If you have additional memory cards you might be able to remove some and then run AHT again to see if the error is gone.
If all you have is the original memory, you will have to run either memtest or rember which will return an error message pointing to the bad memory card.

RCU and DB2 Installation Problems
If you are recieving the following error when trying to run the RCU against a DB2 version 9.7.2 (this is with Fix Pack 2), here is the solution to the error:
INCIDENT_ERROR rcu: oracle.sysman.assistants.rcu.backend.action.JavaAction::perform: Failed to execute method: Excepton:
[OWLS][DB2 JDBC Driver][DB2]OPERANDS OF ARITHMETIC OR COMPARISON OPERATION NOT COMPARABLE
Apparently there is an issue with how the timestamp is formatted. Change the following value in the database and it will run just fine.
Set DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR= FBF
FBF means all Oracle features minus DATE feature. Specific key word "ORA" means "FFF" in hexadecimal and DATE = "40". FFF-40=FBFGood Day,Does anyone have any steps for Data Integration from external systems to Hyperion System 9.ThanksAzmat Bhatti

I just not a new iPhone and in order to sync it I need the newest iTunes, but I can't update it! I tried checking for updates and then trying to downlaod it. I get this error: "Errors occured while installing the updates. If the problem persists, chose Tools > Download Only and try installing manually."
Where on earth is Tools anyway?
When I tried just reinstalling all of iTunes, I had a Windows Installer error...I don't even know what that is!tools is at the top of the apple updater but dont get your hopes up
