BOFC 10 Installation - Can't activate datasource

Hello gurus,
I need to install a complex landscape with Oracle/BOFC/BOFIM/DS/IC/CMS and more.
During the installation of the BOFC component I didn't face any kind of issues, but I'm not able to activate a datasource.
I receive the following error message in my screen:
Migration failed on data source BOFCDEV.
Failed to initialize server configured on machine V05DEG.
ORA-01756: quoted string not properly terminated
According the installation guide I installed the Oracle client 32 bit, because BOFC desn't work on 64 bit.
Here is the server configuration:
Windows 2008 R2 / 64 Bit
Oracle 11.2.0.2
Has anyone already faced this problem?

Hi guys,
SAP solved the issue via OSS Message.
The windows format settings of the user IIUSR was not english.
The change was done directly in the regedit.

    This program can be used in any case...ilke timestamp error or if the data source in gettng inactive after transport in production or any reason for the data loads are not working because of data source issue ..... other then change in the structure of the datasource.
    so use it whereever if it can help...there is no condition to use it...but structure changes must be done through transports.

    I have replicated the datasource from the source system (where it is ok)
    But it is not working.

    hi ,
    goto rsa5 in r/3 and select the datasource and click on transport , then it is available in rsa7. from there you can use your datasource. becuase all business content datasources are available in rsa5 in modified version. in rsa7 all are in active version.

  • Can't activate products with valid creative cloud subcription.

    Briefly:
    i have a valid cloud subcription.. I dowloaded Adobe application manager. Signed in to Creative cloud website than clicked the link "download" which opened application manager and installed the selected product.
    After i opened the installed product i tried to activate it. I clicked on the LIncense Sofware button and logged in with the adobe id. But it strted to asks for serial number. So i turned to adobe support live chat. After one hour of chat turned out the problem is that i have a Windows OS with hungarian language and application manager installed the hungarian version of photoshop which can t be activated with crative cloud subcription,
    Is this true?
    THey recommended me to install adobe products on an OS with english language and install english version adobe products. I don t think this ok!
    Can anybody help me??? Or creative cloud subcription is waste og mony if i don t have english OS??

    Hi ISSUESKFT,
    When the Adobe Application Manager starts up, ou can click on your name that appears on the Adobe Application Manager and choose Preferences.
    In preferences choose the magyar language and install the softwares.
    If you want you can install them in English language and there should not be any issue in activating the products. Creative Cloud subsiption doesnot requires a Serial Number number, just sign-in is required.
    Please try it and let me know what happens.

    I am trying to install Windows Vista Business (retail boxed) 64 bit.  The box didn't include 64 bit media and so I've downloaded it from technet. The install asks for the product key but it is not accepted "your product key cannot be validated.

    I'm a bit confused with this paragraph, as you said Vista already install on your computer, why did you say Windows can't be installed?
    According to your description with your problem, it is Product edition and key are not match. Firstly of all, we must make sure the system you installed on your computer was
    Windows Vista Business, not matter 32 or 64 bit.
    Note: you can check current system edtion at System Properties.
    After that, you can try to input your product key and activate your system for test.
    If problem still presists, it would be better to provide the activation error message.

  • How can I activate the transfer rules for the ODS updating a data target.

    We are on BW 3.5 and I'm loading data into the 0FIGL_O10 ODS  and then uploading the data into the cube 0FIGL_C10. The data loads just fine to the ODS but when I try to <u><b>'update the data target'</b></u> I get a date & time stamp' error on the info-package transfer rules.
    I then Replicate the datasource 80FIGL_O01.
    I must then <u><b>'activate' the transfer rules</b></u>.
    However I cannot get the transfer rules for 80FIGL_O10 in CHANGE MODE to activate them.
    How can I activate the transfer rules for the ODS updating a data target.
    The error text is as follows:
    DataSource 80FIGL_O10 has to be replicated (time stamp, see long text)
    Message no. R3016
    Diagnosis
    DataSource 80FIGL_O10 does not have the same status as the source system in the Business Information Warehouse.
    The time stamp in the source system is 02/15/2007 10:42:33.
    The time stamp in the BW system is 11/07/2006 13:11:54.
    System response
    The load process has been terminated.
    <b>Procedure
    Copy the DataSource again and then activate the transfer rules that belong to it. You have to activate the transfer rules in every case, even if they are still active after the DataSource has been copied.</b>

  • How can I activate my Photoshop CC?

    When downloading PS CC, in order to install it, i got a lot of times 'download is corrupted' warnings and had to do it again. After that a lot of 'expansion is not possible' alerts showed up.
    Instaling was no problem but activation was not possible because "this ID was allready used twice on other machines'
    In fact I had installed it only on this same PC, after a short time it broke down and I changed motherboard and processor, so I lost my PS CC installation.

    It is warning only the interanal table adjustment only , it will not be a problem , the data sources are activated
    sae data sources u can find in RSA6 replicate in BI and see the data extraction and Check in RSA3 also.

  • Can we activate Classic General Ledger in ECC6.0 during upgrade from 4.6C

    Dear SAP Gurus,
    Greetings
    My Client's technical team had upgraded their system from 4.6C to ECC6.0 and they had activated classic GL instead of New GL. And they had also activated classic withholding tax in place of Extended Withholding tax.
    They are facing some error during posting of transactions (like generation of excise invoices, posting of WHT transactions, etc.) I told that it can be a reason of not activating New GL.
    Is my understanding correct...?? Can we activate classic GL during upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6.0...??
    In case of a new client built (with ECC6.0), can we activate the classic GL instead of the New GL..??
    Does the system will work correctly in the long run if they had activated classic GL and classic WHT...??

    I think that you should read long text of OSS note 999614 carfully and you are
    aware of the fact that you will have additional migration efforts in
    case you need to migrate to new G/L later on.
    In case you are convinced that  this is the best way please feel free
    to deactivate new G/L as described in note 999614.
    Please make sure that you deactivate new G/L in all clients of your
    new system in case there were already client copies done.
    Yes this is possible and I would not automatically assume that
    error during posting of transactions are due to New GL not being activated.
    Note 756146 documents the issue and possible repercussions
    of using Classic GL.
    In the case of a new installation the new G/L accounting
    is active by default in ERP. In principle, the use
    of the classic GL is also possible for new customers, however,
    SAP does not recommend it since this requires an additional
    migration expense in later years.

    When you no longer need the Adobe software on a computer or you wish to move it to another one, you should deactivate the software.
    See this link: how to deactivate software. Installation rules will let you install the software on two computers of the same platform (both windows or both mac) but you are limited to running it on only one at a time.     How can I activate Boot Camp?  I want to install an educational library that is on a CD.  People that have PC's can use the CD.  I have a mac mini and I want to open the CD to read/review.  I have the Snow Leopard model.

    Open Boot Camp Assistant in the Utilities folder. You will see the following:
    Click on the Print Installation & Setup Guide button. Click the OK button in the dropdown panel. You will now see the main Print panel. You can now print the document to your printer. If you prefer to make a PDF file you can read on the computer instead, then select Save as PDF from the PDF dropdown menu on the lower left. Save it to the location of your choice.
    Now, read this document carefully in order to follow the proper procedures for creating a Windows partition on your hard drive to which you can install Windows 7 from a retail Windows 7 installer DVD.
    Other options for running Windows:
    Windows on Intel Macs
    There are presently several alternatives for running Windows on Intel Macs.
    1. Install the Apple Boot Camp software.  Purchase Windows XP w/Service Pak2, Vista, or Windows 7.  Follow instructions in the Boot Camp documentation on installation of Boot Camp, creating Driver CD, and installing Windows.  Boot Camp enables you to boot the computer into OS X or Windows.
    2. Parallels Desktop for Mac and Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7.  Parallels is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
    3. VM Fusionand Windows XP, Vista Business, Vista Ultimate, or Windows 7.  VM Fusion is software virtualization that enables running Windows concurrently with OS X.
    4. CrossOver which enables running many Windows applications without having to install Windows.  The Windows applications can run concurrently with OS X.
    5. VirtualBox is a new Open Source freeware virtual machine such as VM Fusion and Parallels that was developed by Solaris.  It is not as fully developed for the Mac as Parallels and VM Fusion.
    6. Last is Q.  Q is a freeware emulator that is compatible with Intel Macs.  It is much slower than the virtualization software, Parallels and VM Fusion.
    Note that Parallels and VM Fusion can also run other operating systems such as Linux, Unix, OS/2, Solaris, etc.  There are performance differences between dual-boot systems and virtualization.  The latter tend to be a little slower (not much) and do not provide the video performance of the dual-boot system. See MacTech.com's Virtualization Benchmarking for comparisons of Boot Camp, Parallels, and VM Fusion. Boot Camp is only available with Leopard or Snow Leopard. Except for Crossover and a couple of similar alternatives like DarWine you must have a valid installer disc for Windows.
    You must also have an internal optical drive for installing Windows. Windows cannot be installed from an external optical drive.

    in this case I would download a really new trial version of your program(s) in question and change it/them into a "real" version later. It would be necessary that you have to use "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool".
    Here an advice for that (The order varies depending on your individual needs. Please read all my proposals first, so you can better choose the first step:)
    1. Maybe you have to activate/deactivate, so please have a look there:

    2. Sometimes, we know in the meantime, the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
    3. Did you already try "uninstalling and re-installing"? Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. As much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

The tool removes installation records for prerelease installations of Creative Cloud or Creative Suite applications.
