Bogus emails that delete everything in the mail in box

I have receive two emails today that delete everything in my in box when I delete it.
My way round this (the second time) is to put it in the junk mail box and then delete.
Is there a way to stop this mail arriving in the first place?

I do not know a way to stop the emails from coming, other than reporting them to the abuse desk of your ISP.
However, they should not be causing such havoc, unless you have some anti-virus program installed that has quarantined, or otherwise selected the message, and wrongly included the entire Inbox. This has been known to happen when using some versions of Norton's AV with Mail and OSX.
Another thing to consider, is the history of your mailboxes, and whether some leftover files or indexes from pre-Tiger Mail use might also be at work to make the messages appear to be deleted, but they are only not displaying.
If your mailboxes originated in Panther, or earlier, I will give you some instructions about what to investigate.

You have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If the app continually fails to run the delete and renown load might help. But yes, you will lose everything that you have done with the app unless there is some way to back up the info to your computer or another device.
You might also contact the developer of the app to see if they are aware of the problem and are working on fixing it. The developer info can normally be found in the information on the app provided in the App Store.

It's my understanding that an iPhone can only sync with one computer. You need to choose one computer. Sounds like it syncs at work, but not at home. If you want to just sync it at home, then you have to make sure the home computer has all the info that you want on it, like music etc. Then you have to deauthorize the work computer for it to sync at home. When you connect it will ask if you want to set up as a new iPhone or restore from backup. If you don't have a backup on the home computer then either way you will be wiped clean. So any photos, contacts, notes etc you have will be erased. You would need to backup or copy your photos from your iPhone. When you connect it to your home computer, it will give you that popup message to open your iPhone files. Then you can copy those photos and save them onto your computer and sync them back in through iTunes.
For your contacts, do you use any type of address book? If so you'll want to back that up and then transfer to your home computer. For notes, you can just email those to yourself and then save that email. I use MobileMe so the contacts issue is easily resolved.

If you have a recent backup yes. Or, possibly, if you do not use your computer at all (so the hard drive is not written on) and get some recovery software or company to try to see if the file is retrievable (not cheap). Other than that, unfortunately not.

Did you try "Fetch new Data" in Settings/Mail, Contacts,Calendars?

I have this exact same issue. Replaced my iPhone 4s with the new iPhone 5s, setting up my new iPhone 5s to restore from iCloud. This completed and now I am unable to delete my old iPhone 4s iCloud backup (consuming 15.1 GB of my 20GB allocation). How can I delete it, so that I get my 15 GB back? I have had my ipod touch 4th generation for a couple months now.... Nowhere in the manuals or help sections does it tell me how to make individual pucture files(like that already on my computer) put onto my ipod touch.... I managed to make one and I can't remember how I did it but when I have the touch hooked up to itunes and try to pick which picture files from my computer to sync, a box always opens and says that it will delete everything in the original photo library that was in there.....

where on my computer am I suppose to make the individual picture files and have them to upload on my ipod touch.... I do have a photo library on my computer, but in the photo tab in itunes for the ipod touch and there is nothing checked for syncing, cause when I do check it it always says its going to replace everything i have in my photo library on my ipod touch..... If you update to iOS 8, you can select that in Settings>Messages>Keep Message and then select your option. If you don't update to iOS 8, you'll need to do it manually.

This is for the POP type account provided by AT&T, not necessarily for an email account and SMTP server not provided by AT&T.
Sounds like AT&T blocks using an SMTP server that is outside of their network or not provided by AT&T on Port 25.
Try the following first.
Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts and under the Account Information tab for your .Mac account preferences at the SMTP server selection, select the Server Settings button below for the .Mac SMTP server.
Enter 587 in place of 25 in the Server Port field and when finished, select OK to save the changed setting.
If this doesn't work, we will go to plan B.

You can only add music to iTunes Match from your iTunes library on your computer, not from your iOS device. If you have music on your iPad that is not on your computer, you'll have to import it to your iTunes library on your computer to add it to iTunes Match.
Music purchased from the iTunes store can be imported directly to your iTunes library by authorizing your computer for the Apple ID(s) used to purchase the music (in Store>Authorize This Computer), then connecting the iPad to your computer, opening iTunes and going to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Music from other sources will require using 3rd party software to transfer to your computer, such as Touch Copy.

How Restore Deleted or Missing OS X Components
A few of the basic OS X installed applications can be restored from the Optional Installs installer located in the Optional installs folder on your Installer DVD. However, if what you need is not there then follow the instructions below.
How to Use Pacifist to Restore Deleted or Missing OS X Components
Insert the OS X Installer DVD into the optical drive. Use a simple utility like TinkerTool to toggle invisibility so you can see invisible items. Alternatively, open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder and at the prompt enter the following:
defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles Yes
Press RETURN.
To turn off the display of invisible files repeat the above command substituting No for Yes.
The install packages are located in the /System/Installation/ folder on the DVD.
Download the shareware utility Pacifist. Use it to extract a fresh copy of the missing item(s) from the file archives on your OS X installation DVD. The file archives are in the /System/Installations/ folder (use Go to Folder option in the Go menu of the Finder.)
Here are Four Basic ways to use Pacifist (courtesy of George Orville.)
Drag a .pkg icon onto the Pacifist window .....proceed to step 7.
Click on “Open Package ....” and navigate to package desired and click “Open” in the open/save window.....proceed to step 7.
Insert Mac OS X installer CD and when it mounts, navigate to .... Menu->Go->Go to Folder. In the path field enter or paste ....
/Volumes/disc name/System/Installation/Packages (where disc name is the name of the CD/DVD that you inserted.)
Click on the "Go" button ..... • Drag a .pkg to Pacifist..... proceed to step 7.
The package you'll need will have to be discovered by trial and error, but for most applications you should start with the Essentials.pkg and/or Additional Essentials.pkg.

2b.          or click the “Find” icon in the Pacifist window and type the name of the software you need.
3.          In the list that comes back, click the top most entry for the item that you want. ..... that is the one for the English language.
4.          On the top of the Pacifist window, click “verify” .... you will probably be prompted for your password.
5.          Enter checks for.... “verify permissions” and “verify file contents.” and click “verify” ....enter password when prompted.... you will get back output which may look like this:
          20 files were scanned. 20 of 20 files were present on the hard disk. 0 of 20 files had file permissions that did not match those specified in the package. 0 of 20 files had checksums that did not match those specified in the package.
6.          Click “close”. Go to step 7.
Extract or Install........
7.          In the Toolbar (upper left), you now have the option to extract or install. Click a file in the lower list and those two icons will be enabled.
8.          If “Extract to...” is selected.... navigate to the location where the file will be placed, select “choose”, select “extract” in new dialog that appears,authenicate , if prompted, click “OK”.
9.          In the next dialog, click “Extract”.
10.          If “Install” is selected... dialog will appear with the location/path of the installed software. Click “Install”
11.          Type in your password, click “OK”
Pacifist will begin to extract files.
12.          In steps 8/10ß.... you also have the choice to “cancel”
Notes:          Pacifist may find that a file it is installing already exists on the hard disk. Pacifist will present you with an alert panel....

If you purchased about 2 years ago new I am sure it is a Intel iMac. To find out what type of iMac you have just click on the Apple menu item in the finder and select about this Mac. I would check the ISP mail site and get the correct outgoing mail server info.

In my iTunes library on my Macbook Air everything is OK but whenever I syncronise after an update a back up is made and then re-loaded.
Can I delete this back up somehow and load direct from my iTunes Library ?

Depending upon what problem that you are having with the Music app, have you tried closing the Music app via the iPad's taskbar and seeing if that helps ? From the home screen (i.e. not with the Music app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Music app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't help then you can delete your music from your iPad and re-sync it back to it. A device's backup doesn't contain the contents of the Music and Videos apps, when you do a restore it gets those from your computer's iTunes library and not from within the actual backup, so deleting the backup shouldn't make any difference to that - if you want to delete the iPad's backup from your Mac then go into iTunes > Preferences (command-comma), and on the Devices tab select the iPad backup and click the 'Delete Backup' button.
