Good to know not every little quirk has to be beat into shape. As you stated in past communications though, the best practice for working the code, is... learn to understand it. No way around the learning curve.
The rest of it is now getting relatively easy, thanks in great part to this forum and the willingness of participants to give so freely of their time and expertise.

Flex build errors and warnings not in English but in Dutch

Hello Flash Builders,
I'm using Flash Builder 4 beta and both Flex SDK 3.4 and 4.0 beta 2. The problem I have is pretty annoying. Many error and warning descriptions, which you see in the "Problems" pane in Flash Builder, are in Dutch. Why? I do not know. I never told it to and I can't find anywhere in the settings an option to change it. I did not download the Flex SDK in Dutch, if that's even possible. Unless they forced me to, because they found out I live in Holland I think I would like Dutch compile error descriptions.
Though I am Dutch, most of the time the Dutch descriptions are fare more difficult to understand than the English versions. And looking up an error when you don't know what it means is also pointless, cause the most common language on the net is ofcourse English and not Dutch.
Someone knows how to change the language of the compiler error and warning descriptions?
Any help would be great!

DBNetLib (Database Network Library) errors occur when the BizTalk Server runtime is unable to communicate with either the MessageBox or Management databases. When this occurs, the BizTalk Server runtime instance that catches the exception shuts down and
then cycles every minute to check to see if the database is available.
Check if there is any server restart activity happening every night?
Alternatively, you might need to
Set the SynAttackProtect registry setting as described in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/899599. Additionally,
look at the Group policy for that SQL server to be sure that the Group Policy does not periodically UNDO the setting change that you did above.

Other possible causes could be
1) Low hardware specs (Could be hard disk memory issue, check the free space on the server)
2) Sharing one server or disk for more than one group of BizTalk databases
It could also be a network card issue that could we worked around by turning off TCP Chimney using the following command:
Netsh int ip set chimney DISABLED

Windows EventViewer Errors and Warnings

I am new to this company and have been asked to work initially to assist our Application Group with their concerns over some applications suffering performance problems. I interviewed the Group Supervisor and he has indicated that he would like me
to review "all" errors and warnings in the EventViewer Logs and rule out any errors and warnings that "may" cause issues for his applications on the servers. His objective is to rule out O/S and hardware errors and warnings by having
me review all daily errors and warnings and solving them, if they are related to O/S and hardware. By doing this, he feels that the other errors will indicate that he needs to address them from an application point of view.
I explained to him that this will be too consuming and not practical as there are over 300 servers to address. Instead, we need a tool or application that can provide alerts on specific events that we have determined warrant reviews. I explained
that many of the errors and warnings he has seen over the last month "may/and probably" was a result of conditions that are not currently within my control (due to budgetary limitations that don't allow us to purchase optimal hardware, bandwith,
power protection services, etc). For example, we recently encountered severe weather conditions that affected the power to our Data Center. These conditions caused latency and power fluctuations that were recordedin the Event Logs. The errors
and warnings during this time eventually went away when weather improved. Unfortunately, this explanation did not suit him.
So, I am left with a problem. I need to satisfy his request since he is a high level supervisor. I will , therefore, need to identify a solution and I believe that may be an application that will give us the ability to selectively identify
events in the EventViewer Application and System logs and alert us within threshhold limits when those events occur. We can then determine which event is "chronic" and then we can filter most of the events to just a few to be concerned with
and then we can devote time to solve them.
Is there anything out there that can do this for us? I'm thinking of something like SolarWinds NPM and APPLICATION Monitoring.....or, something like that. I don't even know if Solarwinds products can provide what we need.

I'm guessing the reason Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 didn't work was because I already had it on my machine.

What the heck does this mean???

Trying to install Photoshop Elements 11 on Mac OS 10.6.8 with Quicktime 7 also installed. Machine is 21.5" iMac 3.06GHz Core 2 Duo. It was on there before. Had a problem and threw it out to reinstall. Any attempt at reinstall gets same error. Even downloaded the installer from Adobe's site and get same error.

SLIN Error and warnings

Dear Experts,
I have created table maintenance generator for my custom table that generated two function module and necessary includes.
I am getting Obsolete Statements EPC (SLIN) Error and warnings due to the auto generated includes in my function group while checking the extented program check.
I could not reduce the EPC errors and warnings because that referring the register object.
Could you please give your suggestion to reduce the EPC Errors and warnings?

First you should make sure your system is capable of running CS6. Then try to run the CS cleaner tool to remove anything around from trials, beta versions, or failed installations.

eventvwr shows over 6,200 errors and warnings.
Errors include kernel-event tracing, MCUpdate, PrintService, DHCP client, DistributedCOM, SQLISService100, MSSQLServer... and many more
But the laptop boots up and run all the installed software without complaining...
QUESTION 1: How to I clear the events in Eventvwr and start over so I can monitor the errors as they occur?
QUESTION 2: On startup, McAffee asks me whether I want to allow modification to the computer, this usually occurs after some apps downloaded updates e.g. Windows updates, Adobe updates etc...

Received 5 errors and 19 warnings during installation of CS6 - is there something I need to do even though it says installation is complete? I had CS5 Creative Suite on my computer already.

I know that we have SNP_CHECK_TAB as the Error table which logs in the summary of errors and E$ that logs in all the errors. But do we have warnings logged in any table? Does anyone know..? Is there a better way to capture the Errors (in the package that runs several interfaces..) apart from the E$ tables.

like

Have you looked at the SNP_SESS* tables? I think you can get anything that is displayed in the Operator from these tables.
