Bold 9780 Notes sync with Macbook

Hi,
The trackpad on my Bold 9780 has stopped working making me unable to read any messages/emails and browse the phone. I have managed to back up the phone with the blackberry desktop software on my mac, however I am having problems with the 'notes' section. I did a full back up and notes sync, but 'merged' it to ensure that nothing is lost from my phone or my Mac notes.
1. Where are these notes saved on my Mac?
2. Is there a way of 'backing up' the notes app from my blackberry so that I can restore it once the phone is repaired?
From what I have read online there seems to be a few people who have had the same problem but I cannot find a solution.

What version of Mac OS X are you running? Do you synchronize your data with Microsoft Outlook or Entourage?
Normally the notes will be saved in the Notes applications or in Outlook/Entourage?
Do you get a specific error when you try to restore or backup the notes?

Wife's new iPhone 5 will not sync with MacBook air.

My new iPhone 5 syncs perfectly well via my iTunes account with my MacBook Air. Over time I think my wiofe and I may have shared access to my iTunes account but she definitely has her own as well and there are times I have needed to enter her password when purchasing something and vice versa.
So I tried to back up her old iphone to our (new) MacBook Air. It wouldn't. It seems to want to back up to our old PC. I wanted to set her iPhone 5 up from an IiTunes backup but can't.
What should I do? Set her phone up from new?

The MacBook has my iTunes account and plenty of music, photos, apps etc on it. I tried logging out of my itunes account and into hers but her phone would still not sync with the macbook. How can I get her phone to recognise the macbook and vice versa?

Iphone 4s will not sync with macbook

ical will not sync and add any new events to my macbook. If I enter the events on the macbook it works fine and send the info to the iphone but if I enter the info on the ipnone the macbook will never add the info. This just started and was working fine. I haven't changed anything. Any ideas?

randers4: helpful if I want to set up iCloud - but I don't. This is NOT the issue. The Address Book is not syncing properly with my USB cabled iPhone 4s, even if I select that I want the desktop to override my iPhone. I must keep my desktop calendar synchronized with all my staff in my office and we are not on Lion (yet) for concerns about capatability with other essential software (CAD and Adobe products). We're all currently on 10.6.8. So. thanks for the suggestion but it's of absolutely no help with our real world issue.
I originally synced with iCloud and then could no longer sync with our desktop iCal and the associated calendars on our network. After turning off iCloud, Wi-Fi syncing, wiping the iPhone back to original settings, and ONLY plugging in to Sync with iTunes - it put back the incorrect Address Book and did NOT sync with the Address Book on my desktop. No changes to my Address Book on my desktop are being picked up on the 4s. Sadly after 27 + years of working with Apple products, I'm reconsidering the choice of the iPhone. I had an Android, that not only synced better than this, I got help from those parties offering sync software. Apple seems to be largely ignoring this issue as a quick tour around the web will illustrate. As a business person, my contacts and calendar are WAY more important than whether I can ask SIRI a question. Calendar is working fine, but my contacts are now actually corrupted with duplicates and incorrect files.

IOS 6.1 will not sync with macbook pro ical

Thanks. There is another thread that shares a solution that involves deleting ical Library cache files and Preference files. I"ll see if that works. ICloud shouldn't be a factor in my case since I don't use it and it's "off" in Preferences. I am encouraged that I don't need to use it to fix this issue based on other's experiences, but we'll see!

IPad Notes and ipad_keynotes not syncing with MacBook Pro purchased versions of iWorks 2009 ?

I downloaded Notes and Keynotes for my newly purchased iPad2 and tried setting the iTunes sync to share documents for the Notes between my MacBook Pro and the new IPad2. To my surprise the pop up indicated that it could not accept documents 2009 version?

Got it to work today. Apple care said it may have had something to do with a version upgrade yesterday for Snow Leapard. All I know is I'm pleased to see it working.

IPhone calendar entries not synced with MacBook calendar

I use my iPhone 4S calendar as my primary calendar for entering or modifying events for the simple reason that it's with me most, if not all the time.
But after upgrading my MacBook Air to Mountain Lion last week, calendar entries entered or modified on my iPhone no longer synchronize with the calendar on my MacBook Air. As such, I have to manually make the entries or modifications on my MacBook Air so that the calendar will be updated when I synchronize it with my iPad. Am not using iCloud, so the calendar on my MacBook is a local calendar (On My Mac).
Any thoughts on why this is happening and what can I do to fix this?

I have noticed a problem recently, although I can't absolutely be sure it's related to Mountain Lion on the computer. Perhaps iCloud (which I set up, but am not really using yet).
My specific issue is that if I go into Calendar (formerly iCal) on the mac, and edit an already existing calendar event -- change the time, or move it to another day -- the change doesn't always sync through to the iphone properly.
Example: I had a recurring weekly event for 7:pm on a specific day of the week. The start time got pushed back to 7:30. I changed it on the mac, and sync'd to the phone. However, the change did not get applied to the iphone calendar. If I edit it on the iphone itself, it will sync back the other way correctly.
Same sort of problem occurs if I move an event from one day to another on the mac. I will wind up with it showing up on BOTH days on the iphone. If I delete an item, same thing.
It acts like the iphone versions of calendar entries are write-protected in a way. If I edit them on the phone, the changes stick and sync properly to the mac. If I try to do it the other way around, they do not.

IMac me email not syncing with macbook and iphone

Changes to my emails, e.g. receiving a new email, reading a new email, deleting an email, are syncing on my iphone, macbook and on icloud.com, but not on my imac. I have a brand new imac and am using my me.com email account. I have set up all 3 devices according to the standard settings available on apple support pages.
Somewhere something is out of place, but I can't fathom what. All other data, including calendar and address book, is happily synched between all devices and icloud.com.

No, but you can go to your email provider's site and set up forwarding for your current email address to your new one. That would allow not to miss any email while your friends are changing their contact information for you to your new address. I did that with my old ISP POP account when I switched to iCloud email. Just set up forwarding and inform everyone of your new address.

Iphone 3GS will not sync with Macbook

After having a new hard drive installed in my Macbook....I can't sync itunes, calendar, or address book with my iphone 3gs.....I keep getting an error saying, "cannot connect to sync server".....It worked perfect with the old hard drive....it is driving me nuts :-) Any help is much appreciated!!!

Phostream on iPhone iOS8 not syncing with Macbook?

Does "My Photostream" still exist in iOS 8?
when I take a picture with my iPhone it shows up in Photos on my Macbook, no problem.
When I import pictures into Photos (it did the same thing with iPhoto in recent weeks), the pictures are not on my iPhone.
I have tried to turn off the Photostream in my Settings and turn it back on to no avail.
I do not back up my entire Photos library to iCloud.
Is this no longer an automatic feature? Do i have to "share' the photos on my Macbook with a new iCloud album?

I think you misunderstood my instructions. You need to have the PHOTOS app opened and use IT'S menu and then IT'S preferences to turn on Photostream so that anything imported into Photos will also be sent to Photostream for those devices (like Aperture on my iMac) that don't support/see the iCloud Photo Library.
As far as my iPhone/iPad and iCloud.com, no there is no Photostream folder. This was discussed in many photography forums that when Apple released iOS 8, they did away with a separate Photostream folder on the iOS devices and incorporated the photos into the "All Photos" folder, just as they did with "Camera Roll".
iCloud.com never accessed Photostream to my knowledge - only the iCloud Photo Library, which is what it is intended to access.

How do I get my email to sycn real time on these devices? I get them both to connect, but they are constantly out of sync.

Iphone will not sync with macbook pro

My mac has just updated to the latest version of I-Tunes but is saying that my I-phone (3GS) needs to update to version 10.6.3. I have recently updated itunes on my iphone but don't know how to go about getting this latest version or syncing them again. Can you help?

8330 no sync with macbook

8330 will not sync with macbook. error message reads "error "skipping", also macbook would not open blackberry cd for installation. i uninstalled and installed several times but cd still has not opened. pocketmac claims skipping error has been corrected but it continues to read error and will not sync.

I have an I phone 4S that is having almost the same problem, and only some of the newly added contact of the phone are added to the address book, so not a big difference, and its not a solution to get read of all products only because we use apple.

I have temporarily solved the sync problem by using an older MBAir running snow leopard, I exported
both calendar and contacts and imported them in the MBA and synced normally.
Since I'm not about to send my data on the cloud, or setup a server to just sync my iphone,
I think this is a good workaround ! BTW I stopped updating my contacts and calendar on the MB, I only
update the iphone until a permanent solution is found !
And they better come up with one soon, because I'll just switch to an Android phone and Ubuntu linux for my MBP, Apple should make our lives easier, not harder !
I'm sure Samsung is having a ball ever since the sync issue was made public !
Hopefully Apple is listening and will make things right again !
