Bold 9900 switched off and wont turn on

Hi My BB 9900 switched off yesterday and wont turn on at all. No sign of red light, not charging, nothing. I tried connecting it my PC but the PC doesnt pick it up - Please help. I use my phone for  everything

Please try this sequence...note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must remain directly connected to a known-good wall charger (not PC USB, not a cradle):
With the battery inside, connect your BB to the wall charger
Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
Remove the battery
Wait 15 minutes
Insert the battery
Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the display does
This has been known to "kick start" some BBs.
It is also possible that your battery or BB has experienced a problem...to test, this sequence is needed:
Obtain an known good and already fully charged additional battery...use it in your BB and see what happens
Obtain access to a known good and identical BB...use your battery in it and see what happens
The results of this will indicate if it's your BB or your battery that has the problem. Note carefully please that "new" and "know good" are not necessarily the same things. While rare, a "new" battery certainly could be defective. Rather, the simplest (and least costly, btw) method to conduct this test is to find someone with an identical BB who has no issues...trade batteries and see what happens.

    It's more than likely broken, a part has failed. You need to take it to a Apple store Genius Bar to be checked out and fixed. Or just buy a new Mac as to fix the one you have might be cost prohibitive. Especially if your warranty has expired.

    If the reset is not successful try the remaining items of:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on           
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
    How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable                                                       
    - Try on another computer                                                       
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    If your iPhone has shut down unexpectedly and will not start up again, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -

    I was using my iphone this afternoon then put it in my pocket and took it out half an hour later and it was dead. I have tried all the info and recommendations in other discussions to try and fix it.. e.g resetting, plugging into computer and EVERYTHING

    yes i did. i tried that like 50 times.. held it down eaach time for more then 20 seconds.
    i even plugged it in the computer and tried the home button and on off button.. but nothing steams to work

    Had exact same problem. Rang Apple support and various apple repairers. All of them said in effect, too bad, you'll have to lose everything since your last backup. It's a work phone with very important stuff on it and the latest backup was on a computer that had a virus. Convergence of crap :/
    Happened to talk to a friend who said to try replacing the battery. Did that. Problem fixed. All data saved.
    To all Apple support people: rather than say 'once it's in recovery mode you lose all data' try saying 'replace your battery and see if that works first'!!!!

    Plug it into a wall outlet for at least 30 minutes, then reset it: Press the Sleep/Wake button & Home button at the same time, keep pressing until you see the Apple logo, then release.

    After a while my ipod turns off and wont turn back on the charge on the battery marks at least half of the power, it happends when im listening to music after a few minutes i connected it and turned back on instantly with the apple logo so i disconected it, and tried again and happened again.. im using another headphones .   is there any way to check battery life ?  How can i solve this?

    What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting?  If nothing else, work through each of the 5 R's of troubleshooting for your iPod to rule out the possibility of any sort of software error/glitch or data corruption.

    Otherwise, you have a hardware issue, meaning you'll need to either take or send your iPod in for service/replacement either via Apple or a third party service.
