BOM creation automatically based on the AUTOCAD Design

Hi masters,
I am into implementation of SAP PP module. Here we have PP, MM, FICO etc.(Fabrication plant)
Based on the customer(Order) requirement we are going to change the drawings ( AutoCAD Design) . Client study the drawings and give the approve for manufacturing based on the approve drawing (AutoCAD Dosing) requirements Compounents quantity should be calculated automatically.
How to do the setting for automatically calculations , please help in this rearguards
BOM should be generated based on the drawing(AutoCAD dosing) only.
How to address this is SAP PP?

with the SAP-AutoCAD direct integration, it is possible to transfer BOM information from AutoCAD directly to SAP.
You can create, assing materials and derive BOMs straight out of AutoCAD.

How to split data into tables based on the entries in a column?

My problem is very similar to this thread: how to link data from one numbers sheet to another sheet, however I could get it to work the way described there. I have one big table for entering data (the first one). I would like to have a few other tables populated automatically based on the entries in one of the columns of the first table. In my example below I put everything in one sheet for clarity. The selection to the other tables is to be done on the column "fruit" in the first table. (second one is "oranges", then "apples" and then "pears" -- had to cut the width of my screenshot due to the limitations of Apple's forums).
Here is what it would look like, just cannot figure out how to make it happen automatically.
Tried also importing similar Excel example to Numbers, but the import did not work correctly.
Any help will be appreciated.

Here's an approach that I've used...
In the Purchases table, Aux column, the expression is:
=COUNTIF($A$1:A2, A) & "-"&A
Fill Down
This expression builds a string that identifies the item and the ocurrance of that item.
The Date column of the Summary tables, cell a3, contains:
=IF(ROW()-3<COUNTIF(Purchases :: $A,$A$1), LOOKUP(ROW()-2&"-"&$A$1, Purchases :: $F, Purchases :: B), "")
Fill Across, then fill down.

To Select Template based on the responsibility

i have created a rdf with multiple templates.
Whether it is possible to select templates automatically based on the responsibility.
For ex:
When the user selects xxx responsibility then xxx template should be default template suppose if user select aaa responsibility the aaa template should be default template.
Please help me in getting solution for this.

I am not giving the solution, one way is, you need to call your program (xxxx) from another program(yyyy, it is a new program). While calling program xxxx from program yyyy, you need to calculate the template name based on the responsibility and use that in fnd_request.add_layout.

Automatic Reservation at the time of process order creation

Hi Experts,
As you are aware, when we create a process order and save, system automatically generates the reservation and the reservation will be for movement type 261. My requirement is like this. When system creates reservation, system should consider for which order type the process order is created and create a reservation for other movement type also.
For eg. Iam having order type ZRRW. When system creates reservation at the time of order creation, system should check the order type and reservation should be created for a movement type Z11 instead of 261 in the normal case.
Is there any user exit for the same. Please let me know.
Else how can I post the goods issue with a movement type other than 261. MIGO is not accepting other movement types.

Thanks for the reply. we created the new movement types inorder to use the SAP standard reports and get the different types of goods movements based on the different processes.
We can do the goods issue using the custom movement type through MB1A. But I was trying to use in MIGO and this is where system wont allow this.
In MIGO, system will do the goods issue based on reservation only. The reservation is created at the time of order creation and it uses movement type 261 irrespective of the order type.
I was trying to find out whether any option is there to use custom movement type to create reservation so that system would propose this movement type in MIGO for goods issue against process order.
This is an interesting case but unfortunately dont have any option of user exit or Badi. Only one user exit related to reservation is to change the str loc and back flush indicator.

Cideon / Autocad 2007 / Material BOM Creation from autocad

Hi,
we are using Cideon integration for AutoCad 2007 & SAP ERP communication. DIR's in DMS are created from AutoCad drawings via SAP menu.
We want to create Material & Material BOM from AutoCad but we cannot see any option present in SAP menu. We can just create Header Material from SAP menu in AutoCad, no BOM option. What steps should be taken to enable material & bom creation from AutoCad SAP menu.

Creation of an Attribute List based on that standard Data source and selection the Birth date as a filter in the Attribute list (Transaction CRMD_MKTDS).

Count target group. Here I would like to stand out that once you click on the “Count” option, immediately it shows 0 results. In other words, it doesn’t process any information. With other attribute lists it takes some time to process, no matter the filter or the attribute list you use. It seems that the standard Infoset doesn’t work by itself with Segmentation Basis. Two SAP notes have been applied and a new Field Group has been added to the Infoset (in order to distint the Segmentation Base).

1966298: MGR_GUID is not populated correctly to infoset read program
2007687:Segmentation InfoSet queries saved with incorrect Master Group
For that reason we had to create a new Infoset based on the standard CRMT_MKTTG_IS_BIRTHDATE, but adding this new Field MGRGUID to the Group Fields.

REQ: Add 'Fit-width' or 'Fit-visible' view mode, in which the zoom level is automatically set based on the width of the _current_ page.

Currently, the default zoom level when viewing a page of a PDF file is automatically calculated based on the width of the "widest" page of the document. This means that, if the document contains one page that is wider than the others or is in landscape orientation, then the default zoom, when viewing all the other narrower pages, is set in a way so that the page does not use the full width of the screen. This results in very poor experience, because the zoom level and the visible area of the page have to be constantly adjusted for each page. The latest update (at the time of writing) has added some extra view modes, but not the much needed 'Fit width' or 'Fit visible'.
Personally, I can find no reason valid enough to justify the lack of such a view mode. Automatically setting the zoom level based on the width of the current page so as to take advantage of the full width of the screen should be a must have feature for mobile devices, if not the default behavior. The current default behavior regarding the zoom level is pretty much useless, even on 8"/10" screens. There should be a view mode in which the full width of the screen is always used to display the document.
Examples of documents for which the Adobe Reader for Android provides a poor reading experience are:
documents which contain some of their pages in landscape orientation.
publications which, apart from the main content, also contain the full front and back cover in a single page (usually first page which is much wider than the content pages) or any other extra pages like cards or application forms (that are meant to be printed) which usually use an A4/Letter page size etc.
documents which have been cropped by external utilities or scripts so as to eliminate unneeded white margins (in some cases not all pages have the same width).
Please consider fixing the default behavior in future releases of the Reader for Android or add a 'Fit width' or 'Fit visible' view mode.

To add to this, if you prefer you can separate your JavaScript from your JSF pages.
Add a folder (I named mine 'js') to your application's ViewController project's public_html folder.
Via JDeveloper, create a new JavaScript file inside your newly created folder and place your JavaScript functions inside it.
You can then 'load' the .js file using the method Shantala described, with the addition of an added 'source' property to the af:reference tag.
(This can also be a URI reference to a JavaScript file hosted on a web server)

Creation of internal table dynamically based on the Date Range entered

Hi SAPgurus,
I have been facing one issue i.e creation of internal table dynamically based on the date range entered in the selection screen. For example the date range I am giving as 06/2006 to 08/2006, it should display the Fieldcatelog dynamically, this part i have completed but the only issue I am facing is to populate the sales data into that fields.
Right now my program is displaying the ALV like this.
Ex:

What folder structure?
If you're referring to how Aperture stores the originals in a managed library then the answer is you can't change it.
If having the originals stored in a specific file structure is important to you you will need to switch to a referenced original setup.

Restrict Org details based on the User in Business partner creation..

I have to assign Sales Org , DIV, Distribution Channel to the Business Partner in Sales Area data. When I try system shows entire Org structure. But I want the Org structure should be displayed based on the user log on. Assume that, I am assigned to Shangai and creating Business partner for Shangai, the system should not show Beijing or other Org Unit since I belong to Shangai. How to address this scenario thro standard customization?
Is it common problem in CRM Webui(6.0 and 7.0).

   Thanks for your reply. I believe Org determination rule is applicable for Transaction types not for Account Creation. I want to get Sales area data based on login user. It shows complete Sales Area(Sales Org IDDistribution ChannelDivision) when I create an Account.. Assume that you are an employee and assigned to Newyork, when you create New Customer in Newyork, system should not show Boston, Washington Sales areas...Please throw some light on this...

Automatically spacing clips based on the date/time when they were shot?

Hi all
I've just shot a concert where I used a static camcorder recording a wide shot of the band, and also the master mixed audio. I was then filming close-up shots on a DSLR, stopping and starting it as and when I needed the additional shots. The problem is I now have 100 or so shot (<3 minute) clips and no easy way of syncing them all to the master sound track from the camcorder.
Is there any way of dropping all the DSLR clips into the timeline, and have them automatically spaced based on the shot time? As in, clip X started at 1545, and lasted for 3 minutes, clip Y started at 1550 so it will put an automatic 2 minute gap in between shots X and Y?
Or will I just have to sync all the clips manually by comparing the master audio and matching it up with the peaks on the audio recorded on the DSLR clips?

I need to create an internal table at runtime.
I have a selection screen parameter which is specific to country, Which can take values below
eg:- IT_AREA for Italy(IT)
FR_AREA for France(FR)
IE_AREA for Ireland(IE).....And similary for other countries
Based on the Above parameter, I need to create Internal Table as below
DATA: itab TYPE italy_data Occurs 0.
If I declare as above, Then itab has fields from italy_data. And this internal table i will be sending it to Function Module to get data into it.
My Requirement is to Create the Internal table itab during runtime for tables italy_data OR france_data OR ireland_data based on selection screen parameter. Tables on Country may have different number of fields in it.
Can anyone help me on this??
