BOM Deletion Inconsistency

Hello All,
Deleted a BOM (ALT 1) containing a only document item in it, ALT 2 is still available. Now we are again in need of the that BOM but when tried to re-create ALT 1 system gave error message that "ALT 1 BOM already exist for the material and plant"
When use to display using CS03, system says BOM for material and plant is not exist in the system.
After invistation it has been noticed, ALT 1 BOM was got deleted physically only and not logically as BOM table entries (MAST, STPO, STKO etc) for ALT1 still exist in the system.
Our need to create ALT1 BOM is immense and inescapable.
Please suggest how to delete the BOM logical entries so that ALT1 can be recreated (Table maintenance SE11 option is not feasible).

your question is Deletion Inconsistency yeap.
Ok here are the steps to Delete the BOM CS02----> open the BOM and goto -
> on the top MATERIAL BOM clikck it -
> there will be Option DELETE.
If you click on it (DELETE) there will be a message displayed in the bottom that materials are been allocated again press ENTER then the BOM will be DELETED.
Come back to CS01 and give the same material maintain the particulars you will able to create the alternate BOM 1 with the same items in the BOM.

BOM deletion issue

Hello all,
I have an issue with BOM deletion.User has used alt.BOM 2 in a process order,with a production version of 0002.Next day he deleted the alt.BOM 2 and assigned Alt.BOM 1 to production version 0002.Now when i check the process order in master data tab,the BOM is given as alt.BOM 2.But it is not in the system .I tried to check through change number and tables,but could nt get it.
I know if the BOM is deleted with deletion indicator we can archieve that.I think in my case user deleted the same directly from header .
Is there any possibility i can view this deleted BOM 2 if the same has deleted without a deletion indictor?Any tables,transactions,programms available?

Hi George.
Since the 2nd alternative Bom has been deleted Directly from Header at Cs01, It is also got deleted in Bom table,.
So u cannot get details of deleted one.

Reconfigure sales BOM deletes line item and creates new line item

We are having issue with Sales BOM. Once sales BOM is reconfigure, line item is automatically deleted and creates new line item. These changes are not captured by reporting tool. Is it standard SAP behavior? if its not standard behavior, how to fix this issue?

If i am not wrong, i assume you are using site instead of plant. If it is plant , then "yes", we can have a order with same material being line item 10 and 20 with different plants. Reg delivery, if the plants are configured to a same shipping point then you will have one delievery. if the plants are configured for a different shipping point , then delivery will be split up.

Tracking of bom deletion information reg :-

Hi,
My client has deleted the sale order bom by transaction CS62 for header material.Full bom for that sale order and sale order item material has been deleted.
Now there is no any bom inside the system.The problem is how to track that information like :-
1. who has deleted.
2. when has deleted.
3. which bom has deleted etc.
How we can track this information in sap.Which table is getting this information or what can be the other method for getting this information.

I am working on cs02. my requirement is to get the details of deleted entries in BOM. i have now got the details of changed values. only the deleted values are left.

Hi Devrath....
when you used CS02 for BOM and delete any component from there and save it...
then this delete entry's record will be inserted in table CDPOS....
you can see the value as D - deleted, U - updated, I - inserted in the CHNGIND field of table CDPOS...
so when you see the value of CHNGIND as D then that component is deleted from your BOM and can get the value of
deleted components....

Order BOM Deletion

Hi all,
I deleted the order BOM thru tcode CS62 & <b>when i try to delete the sale order system is not allowing me to delete the sale order</b>,it says that "Item 01 cannot be deleted because of order bill of material"
Even after deleting the order BOM thru t code CS62 iam able to view the BOM of that particualr sale order in order browser (T code CSKB)
Note I create the order BOM thru CSKB only, there i freeze the BOM

Your question is not clear. As i understand you know how to delete a line item in BOM and you want to know if change pointer picks it up at line level.
If you activate BOMMAT in BD50, all changes should be captured from BOM.
Before that, check TCODE- BD52 for message type BOMMAT to see you have all the fields listed which you want to capture.
Typically in your case its LKENZ for STPO which is not added by default in sap. You have to add it to capture.
2. Same change pointer question for after the materials are deleted from the BOM and the BOM header is marked for deletion.
I did not understand this question.
BOM Header Deletion indicator STKO- LOEKZ is captured for BOMMAT message Type.

I have one issue on Deleting the BOM in CS02..My program has working for deleting the BOM items for corresponding HEader Material...Now What happen, There is no Bom Item for corresponding HEader Material but Stil the BOM has opened..My Requirement is have to delete the BOM..
I done Go to cs02 tcode, there i gave Material, Plant, BOM Usage and I hard coded Alternative BOM is 1..But its not Deleting the BOM(BOM dosen't contain sub item). But its Deleting the BOM contain Sub items .Is there any Function Module or BAPI available to delete the BOM dosen't contain sub items..
Please Guide me AS soon as Possible.

Deletion Indicator cannot be unset" error message in PO

Hi Experts!
I have a PO in which I deleted a line item, which has been invoice verified, delivered, etc. Now when I choose to unblock/undelete the line item, it give me error message: "Deletion Indicator cannot be unset". Is this a major problem or can it be fixed. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Urgent! Thank you for your time!

I would say that system should prevent you to delete a line item po with a GR and or invoice entered. For me it should be a bug.
Now you have done the line item deletion, inconsistency may occur...
Did you try first to uncheck the final invoice indicator in the PO ?
Did you check OSS note 1023130 ?

Inconsistent Dep req in MRP run

Let me explain the scenario with an example:
B is child part of A. When we ran MPS, A's planned order has generated dep req on B. Subsequently A's Requirement and Planned order were deleted . But in the subsequent MPS run it is not deleting Child parts (B) dep req due to some error. ( We know the mistake what we did). Now we wish to delete this inconsistent Dep req for B.
I know that there is a program RM06C020 to delete such sub contracting purchase req . Similarly is there any program for deleting inconsistent dep req for a planned order?

To delete the inconsistent dependent requirements of planned orders...you have the only option to run the MRP for the header part so the dependent requirements will be deleted and adjusted automatically as per the new planned orders quantity.
There is no program and transaction to delete the dependent requirements except MRP.

Hi friends,
Please an anybody answer to my following:
1) T-code to display overall BOM of all Finsihed goods (FG) i.e., if suppose i put a range for FG say 1000 to 1999 then the overall BOM of those FG should display
2) How can i insert a image to my BOM
3) How can i view long text in all BOM through display T-code
4) How can i delete the BOM permanent from the system
5) How can i create my own display of BOM through Z

1.Is there any business requirement to view all the BOM details of all finishes goods?If so i will suggest you to develop a Z report
using the functional module CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2,but however make some restriction for the maximum no of entries that is
allowed to view or download.
2.You can attach the drawings as document items (as BOM component using the item category D) by first creating documents
using CV01N.
3.You can use long text functionality to enter the long text for each component under item details.

Different BOM for each month

Hi,
The BOM is different for each month. If i make different alternatives for each month and run the LTP will it help to get the raw material requirement as per the BOM for that month. Example BOM for NOV/DEC will be not same but we want to estimate the raw material req for next year.
Kindly advise what i need to do?

1.What is the business contraint in using change number functionality to address this requirement without creating any
additional alternative BOM?
2.Say you create the first alternative BOM using a change number and save all the BOM components.
3.The default valid from date will be the valid from date of the change number and valid to date will be 31.12.9999.
4.Whenever there is a BOM change use a different change number with valid from date say 25.10.2010,so using this in the
same BOM delete the components and add the new component's or make any BOM change and save.
5.For the deleted components the valid from date will be say (you have created using today's date for BOM creation)
05.10.2010 and the valid to date will be 25.10.2010.
6.What is the advantage of creating new alternative BOM?
6.How are you using the LTP results for inventory purpose,say how are you planning the raw material's requirement for the
next year based on this year's BOM?
7.LTP is not only the feasibility of material procurement,but also production that can be produced with available resource.

How to delete 9 hundred thousand entries from SWW_WI2OBJ

Hi All,
When I execute transacation SXI_MONITOR, Process Overview shows a hit being made to the database table SWW_WI2OBJ. This table contains 9 hundred thousand entries all the related work flow items.
This causes a very slow performance while displaying messages in SXMB_MONI.
Please note that I have set all the retention periods, scheduled archiving and deleting jobs in SXMB_ADM.
Any suggestions/help would be really appreciated.

As you know the XI messages are stored in a hierarchy. The messages are stored at multiple levels at different dependent tables. So deleting the records from table SWW_WI2OBJ will not be a feasible solution.
You are right, SWWL is used to delete workflow items. But even this transaction takes ample amount of time to delete a work flow item.
I am looking for a report that can delete all my messages in dependent tables. I tried with report SWWIDE_DEP which deletes inconsistent entries from dependent tables.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Short dump in VF01 - Syntax error in program "RKEAK9RECP3000001"

Helo all,
We recently copied our production client to a QA client and when we try to save an SD invoice (VF01), we get a short dump titled - Syntax error in program "RKEAK9RECP3000001".
The dump long text states:
"The Dictionary structure or table "K9RECP3000001" is either not active"
" or does not exist."
and
NOTE in case of a SHORT DUMP:
if the following perform statement should lead to a short dump, then
the report stated in the short dump is missing (RKEAK9Rsssmmmnnnn)
Check if table K9Rsssmmmnnn exists. If not it should be transported
from the original system.
Regenerate the missing reports by using transaction SE37, entering
function KEDR_REGENERATE_ALL_REPORTS and pressing button 'Test' and
'Execute'.
but I tried to run function KEDR_REGENERATE_ALL_REPORTS in SE37 and the problem persists.
Maybe I'm not running it correctly - there is no execute option when pressing "Test" so I enter the function and press F8, which takes me to a screen titled "Test function module" and then I execute.
My suspicion is that table "K9RECP3000001" cannot be created or generated since it it a system specific naming convention K9RSSSCCC0001 in which SSS is system ID (in our case ECP is production and ECQ is QA) ans CCC is client number (300 in prod, and should be 286 in ECQ).
Has anyone encountered this type of a problem and knows how to fix it?
Needless to say, I looked at OSS notes, but did not find the solution there.

This problem may be caused by the fact that some derivation rules
that were originally created once in a system have been transported
into target system without transporting the dependent objects
as well (the generated tables for the derivation rule entries).
You can see this by execution of program RKEDRCHECK with only
parameter 'Check in all clients' marked. You will then get
inconsistent derivation steps (which refer to a generated table
table for the rule entries that doesn't exist because it was
not transported).
There are two ways to solve the problem:
1.) If you don't need these steps any more in derivation you can get
    rid of them by executing program RKEDRCHECK with both parameters
    marked ('Check in all clients' and 'Delete inconsistent steps').
2.) If these steps should remain you have to retransport the missing
    tables from the source system in which these tables have to exist
    (creating transport requests for the customizing of derivation by
    pushing on the 'Transport' icon in the source system in transactions
    KEDR and KEPC).
For each derivation step,the system generates a program RKEAK9R *
and a table K9R+ System ID+ Mandant+ a number of five figures
from the object number in KEDR.
