Bom list

to find the where used list t code is CS15
i want to know where used list for all the matrerial
There are lot of inventory available for 200 materials for two years
first i want to track why it is purchased or procured
so i want to check the bom list for all materials avaible in the company
if it is available or not used ,in future i want to remove the unused material from BOM

1. No such Transaction is there to see the where used list for all the materials. You can customize the CS15 to make the Material field as Multiple selection. It might endup with Runtime error, since the loop will be run for N where used list * M number of material.
2. To check the material which is Procured or Produced, you can see MB51. Both the same movement type 101 but different transaction code.

Dear Sekar,
There is no standard report to view multilevel BOM for a list of materials or even single level BOM,either make use of T.Code
CS11,CS03 as explained or else you have to develop a Z report by using the functional module
CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 BOM explosion for material.

As described above, there isn't a BOM list as such.
However, you could look at the Equipment BOM Logical Database (CEC) via TCode SE36
This Logical Database can also be used in TCode SQVI or SQ01

BOM List in Component overview of maintenance order

Hi Friends
When we look at the structure list in the component overview screen to select the component in the maintenance order, the BOM list is shown only for the validity on the order creation date .
However subsequently the BOM had undergone changes ( new component has been added to the equipment BOM)
This new list is not available to enable us to select the component .
How can this be handled ?It would be better to have the structure list for the current day as validity !

SAP has replied to our issue as given below
When calling the structural list on the component screen the
start date of the order is taken into account. If you need the
structural list of another day (for example today) you will have to
reschedule the order.
On the header screen the display of the structural list is a general
functionality (shared with notification, functional location, etc.) and
the date of today is taken into account.
By opening the Structure (Folder Components ) the system checks the
earl.start time form your order and the valid from date of all
components in your BOM.In the structure display you can only find the
components where the valid from date have the same range as the
early .start time of your order.
This is SAP Standard Logic.
You can perhaps try user Exit IWO10029 which may be of some benefit in
your case.

BOM list for several materials

is there any standard transaction that shows the BOM list of several materials, like a range or something?

Dear Oliver,
There is no standard SAP report which shows the BOM component's(Multi-Level explosion) for a list of products.
CS11,CS12,CS13 are for a single product.
Either you have to develop a Z report using these Functional Module CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 or else CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ
or else try to fetch the data from the tables MAST,STKO & STPO.

Hi,
Further to the explaination given by Waman, you can also download multilevel BOM to excel after running T.code CK11n, on left hand side of the costing structure click on "Sum Total" tab (displayed as summation symbol) & then click on "Expand Subtree" [very first symbol displayed as upward arrow key], you will able to see the Total value/Quantity/UOM & also the description of resource with cost centers which you can download to excel.

Dear Mr.TT,
You can not download the BOM using CS03,If you want to save the same into
your PC as a local file,get it done using T codes,
CS11 - Display BOM Level by Level.
CS12 - Multilevel BOM.
CS13 - Summarized BOM.
After executing in any one of these T codes,you can find button named Local File
(Control ShiftF9) or in the menu's Extra's ---List ---Export -
choose any option
as you need.
If you want from tables use tables MAST,STPO,STKO.

Component and its BOM list

Hi ,
Where can we see the list of BOM header materials in which a given material is a component.
Ex:- If component 'XYZ' is of material type - ROH or HALB. If the component 'XYZ' is used in different BOMs. Where can we see these list of BOMs in which component 'XYZ' is used?.

Goto CS15/CS14-BOM Where used List .
Execute CS15-Here if you are useing various BOM , then mark the Used in option ( Material , WBS, Order , Documents BOM) and Mark Type of Where used list as Direct and then Goto next page ( hit the Arrow ) -Give the Required qty , Plant Code , Usage -PRD means 1 an Universal means 3 from selection menu and finally hit Execute .It will list down all the qty , header items and relevent information as per your requirement .

if you caould not find any report then try this...
Try to create a small querry
sq03-define user group
sq02-define infoset , generate infoset ,again in sq03 assign user group to infoset ..
sq01 generate querry using the infoset .
in the infoset u can define use fields plant,eqpt ,bom ... etc
plant,eqpt can be selection fields and eqpt,bom can be output fields... check in the respective tables

Add Extra Columns into Multi-Level Explode BOM (List Report) - CS12

Hi Experts,
I wish to add extra columns into the list report generated from program RCS12001 (calling from t-code: CS12). The current layout will be AS-IS and the only way i wish is to add-in few new columns in the report.

declare select-options instead of parameters
for converting a report to ALV
create a field catalog.
for this two option declare a itab with
fcat TYPE slis_t_fieldcat_alv
and pass the field name,descr etc to fcat and append the same.
or create structur same as your itab and pass the same with FM
'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE'
use either reuse_alv_grid_display or reuse_alv_list_display .
and pass the itab.

How to get the TOP MAT from a component material of BOM list?

I only kown a sub material of a BOM Llist & not sure its level in the TOP MAT's BOM.
How can i get the TOP MAT of this sub material?

HI .. in my view you should ask your ABAP to help you with a small program to solve your purpose, i am not aware of any system available t-code/ program ..... hence this is what we also did at client place.

How to get inactive BOM by using FM?

dear all,
we are used to get BOM list by using FM 'CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 ';
but when there is a inactive BOM,FM 'CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 ' can only be used to get the first level materials,
pls tell me how can i resolve this problem,or there may be an another FM for this situation?

Thank You For the response, My Client Is asking For a report Where We can Get details Of BOM list under a plant which have Gone Under changes with in a specific Period. Plant level Of .
Ex; in the plant 1111 we have some 200 no of BOM s . some users have changed 30 different BOM in a Month. how can i get list of BOMs which gone under Change (Header and Item level) changes.
i have taken Plant wise BOM no and passed it to STPO and get the details , but in STKO the Fields are showing as CHANGEDBY, CHANGEDON,but i am not able find the changes happen.
EX: base quantity of header material was changed from 1 to 2 by a abcd user in 01.01.2014.
by using STKO we can see the user name and changed date but i am not able find the change details.
Please help me how can i develop a report to extract data of BOM changes based on input of plant and date range.

Copying BoM into Inventory Transfer

Hello!
i have a few bom's which have over 85 items in them. my client uses warehouses to manage sub-contractors and uses Inventory Transfer to send them the material. it gets very tedious to copy all items individually to the inventory transfer screen and potential to make mistakes can be very high.
is there a way to copy the entire bom contents into the inventory transfer screen?
all bom's are production boms as i would be sending them for production to replicate the sub-contractor's processes.
i am using B1 2005b

before I convert the components to FG, I am first sending the components to the sub-contractor. I need to create an Inventory Transfer to generate a Delivery Note. sometimes, I send more items than required, so when the sub-contractor sends the FG back to me, the excess items are unused and kept at the sub-contractor's place to be used at a later time. That way, I wouldnt have to send that those items the next time I send another order to him.
therefore, i need to make a Delivery Note mentioning all the ~85 items that I am sending. most of the times, i will take all the items from the BOM list and populate them in the inventory transfer screen and just make changes to the quantity. making this list of ~85 items is a very time consuming process and i am trying to avoid this by being able to copy the bom components into the inventory transfer screen.
I need help to guide me as to how can i achieve this.
