Bonus points from first credit card purchase.
I was wondering if I needed to do anything special to get my extra 5% bonus points from the first purchase on credit card. We are expecting an additional 8,099 points. We purchased an "open box" tv, but had to return and purchase a new tv as most of parts were missing on first tv. The saleman said both receipts would be used, since the return was a store issue.

As long as the offer terms were met, the additional 5% back in points should have posted to your My Best Buy™ account within about 20 days. A return and repurchase could potentially prevent those points from posting because the repurchase is obviously not the first purchase, which is what is required to qualify for the full 10% back in points. While the store associate may have said both receipts should work, the store has absolutely no say in how points are awarded.
After looking over your account, it looks like the store processed the second transaction as an exchange and not a repurchase. That would leave me to believe that your original purchase should still be eligible for the full 10%, but you have two My Best Buy™ accounts. Anytime that a new Best Buy credit card or MasterCard account is opened a new My Best Buy™ account is opened, and the TV you purchased was applied to an existing account rather than the new account that is tied to your new credit card.
I would suggest that we look into potentially merging the two accounts, which should not be an issue if they share the same information (name, phone #, mailing address). To gather some additional information from you and further discuss a potential merge, I will be sending you a private message. Part of the validation for credit cards is that they need to be registered to exactly the same name and address that you have on your iTunes account, which prepaid cards tend not to be. Do you have a proper credit card that you could use ? Or are iTunes gift cards available in your country so that you could try using them as your payment method ?
Until you have a valid payment method on your account and what you owe iTunes has been paid off then you won't be able to download any item from the store, including free apps (and updates to apps). -
I think my granddaughter bought a $3.99 app after I put the password in for a free app. I just got an email from my credit card confirming the purchase. How can I find out what she purchased? Can I get credit for it?
The password is good for 15 minutes to make purchases. You should receive a receipt in 24 to 48 hours for the purchases. There is a link to Report an issue. You could use that to start a conversation with iTunes Support about a refund.
Apple considers all sales final. But has been known to offer a one time refund. So the question is, do you want to use your one time refund on this purchase or one more expensive in the future? -

I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Posting your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.

Perhaps you have had your account hacked by someone. Someone you know or a stranger. The first thing is to change the password in your Apple ID so that they cannot continue to buy things with your account. Second, if the None option is available in your iTunes account payment methods, select that and remove the bank card info.

Credit card purchasing/ error 502
for the past week when i try to buy a video in the itunes music store it either comes up with the message credit card purchasing is temporarilly unavailable or error 502 your request cannot be processed can anyone tell me how to fix this
As of today I'm still getting the "temporarily unavailable" response, even though tech support said the credit payment problem was resolved. I find it particularly perplexing when merchants refuse to take my money. Oh well, good thing I live in a capitalist society, plenty of alternatives to choose from

I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to purchase some music since Friday, but have been unable to do so. I keep getting a message about the iTunes store not being able to process credit card purchases at this time. What is going on? Is anyone else having this problem or am I the only one? I owe 27 dollars on itunes and i got a 25 dollar itunes card if i were to update my account with my new credit card would the 27 dollars be deducted from my credit card or would the itunes gift card pay for the 25 and my card would pay for the $2 left.
Generaly, if you have an iTunes card and a valid credit card, you have the option of charging your purchases to eiher one or the other? By default, it goes to your iTunes card, but you can override that.

I can no longer download PDF statements from my credit card site.
I was trying to download a PDF statement from Chase credit card site, like I have done many times in the past, and it will not do a download. It opens the new window with nothing, and the downloads page has nothing on it.
Can I go back to the previous version of Firefox until you have the bugs worked out of this version (4).I had the same problem.
Before I solved it, sometimes it would work if I moved the tab from the new window to the window where the Chase main page was. Then after a reload it the PDF would show up.
Some other websites where PDFs are generated also showed a blank page.
''The solution'': I had the '''PDF download''' Add-on (latest version, 3.0.0.2) and disabled it. It is not enough to disable the add-on in its add-on bar button, and writing the website in the add-on's "do not use" list also doesn't work. The only thing that works is disabling it in the Add-ons Manager or even uninstalling it.
