Book example doesn't show images

How comes that the images doesn't display? My code is exactly
like in the book: FLEX 2 with ACTIONSCRIPT 3.0 from friendsofED.
I tried to debug. But if I put a watch on either variable in
the application it gives 'No Such Variable'. Kind of useless those
watches it seems.

take out last "/" slash from source in CoverDisplay.mxml

make sure to clear cache and rerun it

Finder doesn't show image dimensions

Hi!
I have a problem with image dimensions in Finder. Finder doesn't show image dimension info in preview column and Get Info window. But when I open in Preview app I can see dimensions in Get Info window. How to solve this problem. If I want to sort images by dimension, I can't do that. Because Finder doesn't know image dimensions. You can see images below.

Template Preview Doesn't show images

I've created a template but when i go to create a new page
from the template the preview doesn't show the images.
Here's what i see

THis is a real stab in the dark, but at the top of the "next column" there is a small grey arrowhead next to the word "preview" which, if clicked, will rotate to two different positions. One position shows a preview, the other rotated position does not show the preview.
Try clicking on the arrow.

CRS 10.1 with Endeca 3.1.1 -home page doesn't show image and promo products

Thanks to this forum and especially cmore I'm close to setting up my local dev environment, but still have something to resolve.
I have ATG 10.1.2 + CRS + Endeca 3.1.1. I installed BCC with Staging and Production (switchable) stores.
The problem is with Production CRS - both US Store and Home Store don't show image and promoted products on Home page.
What I see below Top Category pane is empty square. Unlike Production, home page on Stage works fine - I see homepage_promo_storeSiteUS_en_anonymous.png and promoted products.
I think the problem is not related to Endeca, as I currently connect both Stage and Prod to the same Endeca CRS, I also believe that issue is not related to configuration - I tried to run production with Stage configuration, and it changed nothing. I believe the issue is somewhere in data (DB) - but I did full deployment for Prod and it didn't help. I verified targeters and slots on Prod through ACC, and they looks fine. So don't know at this point what to do next.
While doing full deploy I see some errors in the log which might be related to the issue, But the same errors I see on Stage as well and still Stage works without issues:

Last update: I compared Stage and Prod home pages HTML code, and notice that the first difference between two pages is absence of endeca-slot Div, the below code present on Stage, and is Not present on Prod:

After some analysis and experiments:
Most likely the issue is with Scenarios. HomeTheme Slot is populated by Theme scenario.
For some reason the slot remains empty on "bad" environment. On "good" environment the slot contain promo content item after the first call of the slot. I checked respective targeter and promo content item, and they look OK, so I believe something wrong with Scenarios.

HELP! Ipreview my final photo book & it doesn't show cover photo on hardback for sure? How can I know?

When I preview my final photo book it doesn't seem like the photo from the dust jacket is on the hardback cover as well but I'm not sure. There is nothing else I can do within the program's pages so how can I be sure? I need to order it ASAP, help please!

When I preview my book - Dust Jacket Spread Cover Design- I see the following first two pages in the preview:
one large spread for the dust jacket
and one large spread for the hard cover.
Is that different for you?

My browser (and preview) doesn't show images in Muse...

My browser (and preview) is not able to show images hosted on my local server, however when I access those HTML files directly it works; It seems that something is blocking HTTP traffic from my Mac. Please help me find the root cause. Thank you! I am wasting hours on this.

I've been looking online and others seem to have similar issues but i haven't found any solutions.

If i refresh it a few times in preview I will get bits and pieces of the image to come through.

Mail doesn't show images, just the icons eg. .jpeg, .jpg, .png etc.

iMac 24" OS X 10.7.5 Lion, my Mail ver. 5.3 does not show images anymore, just the icon attachments, eg. .jpeg, .jpg, .png etc.
I can click on them and use the open with context menu and open them but they just open as attachments not lined up to the email body as they have always been in the past.
What can I do to get these images back to where they belong?

Open Terminal in Applications>Utilities and paste this in. Then hit return.
defaults write com.apple.mail DisableInlineAttachmentViewing 0
To reverse the setting, change the 0 to a 1.

[SOLVED] akregator doesn't show images in the preview pane

I have three different PCs with Arch and kdemod-legacy (that is, kde 3.5.9) and on all of them I use akregator (a RSS/Atom feed reader).
One of the feed I subscribed is from an image board: when new images are uploaded to the site, I'm notified and clicking on the link in the articles section of akregator I can see in the lower pane a thumbnail of the image.
However this doesn't happen on my third pc: I *suppose* the installed applications and libraries are the same between all the machines, and the akregator options seems to be same as well.
Does anybody have an idea about this?

That's right - I don't use that option because it's usually unnecessary: the overview usually does show a thumbnail of the image, and I can avoid loading the entire page.
Anyway, I noticed that switching from RSS to Atom (for the same feed, I mean) solves the issue - so maybe it was related to the type of feed used.

Preview doesn't show images, while Acrobat does

I have a pdf file that has many images. on Preview, it only shows black outline where the image should be, but the image itself is blank.

Kuickshow doesn't show images anymore

kuickshow only shows a black window (the size of the image) when I open a picture
all other programs, including kde previews (even the kuickshow preview image) work as intended
any idea what causes this?

Applet doesn't show image only if it is running on IE

HI All,
I'm developing an applet that show a table whre any single cell is composed by a Jlabel that contains an image and a text.
So the applet working fine if I run it via eclipse viewer but when I create the HTML file addind the right archive contains all classes and folder image and run applet via IE only the text label is shown.
Seems strange that I don't use a specific path for gettinng image file because I put the image folder inside the classes folder and the reference to the image file is absolute to the folder "image/xxx.png".
Could anybody help me or have some suggestion to solve this behaviour?

You appear to have more than one profile already. Maybe these will turn out to belong to other users, or you have used Reset Firefox.
When looking for Firefox and trying to kill it with task manager, also look for plugincontainer that could also be running.
You have not said what your OS is. Possibly an upgrade is trying to complete and failing,no doubt it is possible to kill that but I am not sure how. (IIRC someone recently posted about how to do that in Windows 7 but I can not find that post, at present, and I do not know what your OS is)

* create a new profile, (keep both the old and the new one) troubleshoot by starting the new one see

Executable Jar file doesn't show images

Hello all,
In my jar file, I have two references to images, which are instantiated as follows:
Icon something = new ImageIcon("image.gif");
However, when I compile an executable JAR file, these images don't show.
I've included the image in the directory which is used for the jar source, and I can't think of any other reasons why it wouldn't work... Does anyone have any ideas?

First you need to create an URL to the image inside your jar
String insideJarPath = "/mypackage/images/myImage.jpg"; // starts with a /
Url myImageURL = getClass().getResource(insideJarPath);
Then use that to create your ImageIcon:
ImageIcon myIcon = new ImageIcon(myImageURL);
See API of Class.getResource()
It will tell you that you can work absolute from inside the jar by starting with a "/" for the insideJarPath.
Or you can work relative from the package directory of the class instance calling getClass() by not starting with "/".

Time to repair you library: do the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
2 - run Option #4, Rebuild Database.
3 - if necessary repeat with Option #1, Repair Permissions.

Navigation bar not showing images

I'm still new to app express and I'm sure I'm missing something. I understand how nav bar images are supposed to appear, however, I'm not seeing it displayed in the application. I'm using one of the built-in templates (#3 Business), with One Level Tabs. When I create my nav bar entry, I include the image filename (located at the default image location) but I never see the image in the application. Any idea what I could be missing? Or is it possible that this built-in template doesn't show images on the nav bar?
How can I see exactly what the variable #NAVIGATION_BAR# contains?

If you navigate to your page and click on the word 'Templates' you will see all installed Templates.
Select the 'One Level Tabs' component and scroll halfway down to the 'Navigation Bar' and 'Navigation Bar Entry' fields.
It looks as though that particular page template refers to a CSS type that doesn't contain an image - #TEXT# - this can however be changed by overriding the style in a custom style sheet.
