Loaded up Firefox home on my ipod touch and whenever I go to open a book mark or a web page it crashes and shuts down.

I have loaded the firefox home on my ipod touch and sync'd it. Everything came over in the sync but when I open something, and then start scrolling down the page, it just shuts the program down.

You have the accessibility VoiceOver feature turned on.
Triple click the home button and try going to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off. You may have to use three fingers to scroll the screen to get there. If problems see the following for how to turn off via iTunes:

Firefox has been randomly crashing for two days. I always have google and facebook running. Firefox seems to crash at random times - no specific web page loading. My Firefox is up to date.

Blue question mark on some web pages

hi i am getting blue questions marks on some web pages. like..... TheAVENUE.com i see the start page, and i see the pictures there, but when i go to click an link like sweaters, and the sweaters are suppose to pop up i see the blue question marks. this only only happens on a fewweb pages. any idea whats going on?

thanks for your help, I called my internet people. and they are having the same issues. they are guessing they company is blocking us from viewing it. It happens alot though. My husband is in the military and we are stationed overseas. I will have to call them and let them know they are blocking our Ip addresses

Can't open a specific web page

i am having a trouble opening a specific web page. It tells me that it cannot find/connect to server, but it is only happening to one web page

wow i thought i was the only one!
it's also happening to me but in my case the whole myspace.com site (profiles, home, etc) isn't working
it does open the page but it doesn't load it properly, the vids doesn't appear and some images only appear with a "?" sign meaning that it cant load it, the music is not loaded
i've also tried with firefox but it doesn't load it either
and i've also tried with a pc i have here in my house using the same wireless network i use with this mac im having trouble and i can open any page including myspace

How to enable Reader Mode on a specific web page?

I've downloaded the Firefox Beta to my Samsung Galaxy Nexus but am having trouble using Reader Mode. First, Mozilla's instructions advise using a "Menu" button on my device, but there is no such button on my Nexus. When I open a web page, such as an article I want to read, sometimes the book icon appears in my address bar, so I can click it and open the page in Reader Mode, but usually that icon does not appear and I can't use Reader Mode. Any suggestions?

You may be right, but it's frustrating: When I can get Reader Mode to work as advertised, I like it much better than any of the add-ons I've seen; and there are so many add-ons that it's daunting to consider evaluating all of those that seem similar to Reader Mode.
I'm hoping that someone can suggest a means of making Reader Mode work for me, as it's supposed to do. If no one comes up with such a solution, I guess I will have to plunge into the add-ons.

Is there an extension for Safari that would enable the user to mark their place within a web page (not just the web page itself)?

Select Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them and test.

When attempting to access a specific web page on my iPad, the page seems to load then quickly disappears (resembling a white/black we page). Other sites seem fine. Note this is also occurring when I use Chrome (to access the same page).

Thanks so much for addressing my question. Note that the site (www.xula.edu) was working with Safari this morning, but not this afternoon. I also have now been able to access it with Chrome (remember I could not access the site with Chrome initially). Essentially one time while the site was loading on Chrome I clicked another link on the site and opened a new tab for the link- the original page then loaded and now continues to load. I've been trying to do the same with Safari but the page loads and "goes to white" to quickly.
Other notes: I've powered off my iPad (did not help) and restarted my iPad (also did not help). I can also access all other links (to other www.xula.edu related pages on the site using Safari - I find them via a google search)- it's just the home page that loads then goes to "white screen" very quickly. Can I disable adblock for specific web pages?

Yes, you can tell disable adblock on sites you choose. Go to each
web site one at a time. After the page has loaded, go to
the adblock icon and right click on it. One of the options
is to disable adblock on that site. Be very careful as there
is also an option to disable on '''''ALL SITES'''''.

Issue Loading Specific Web Pages Using the Airport Extreme Base Station

I see that several other members have had this same issue - has anyone resolved their problem? Here is my issue:
It all started when my wife tried to load her favorite Web page at http://hpana.com - the site now takes well over 5 minutes to load. This started some time after updating the recent security update 2007-009 Version 1.0 and shortly thereafter version 1.1. I have tried using the other Mac computers in the house, using the same wireless network and the same problem presents itself. I have tried loading the page using friend’s computers (Mac and PC, from out side my home) and the page loads within seconds. I have tried using Safari, IE and Firefox (at home), the problem remains. I contacted the hpana.com Webmaster and they have made no changes to their web site.
I disconnected our cable modem, and connected the modem directly to the iMac (by passing the Apple Airport) and the page loads within seconds. I’m guessing it has something to do with the Airport Extreme.
So, I contacted Apple Support. The issue was quickly elevated and eventually forwarded to the Airport Extreme Hardware guys – I expect to get an answer by Mid January 2008.
I took a trip to the local Apple store and after explaining the situation, the store manger replaced the AirPort Extreme with the hope this would resolve the issue. After getting the “new” Airport Extreme up and running … the problem remained. This particular web site hpana.com still takes well over 5 minutes to load. I have no such issue with some of the other 60 or so sites I tried.
I by passed the “new” Airport once again by connecting the cable modem directly to the iMac and, as before the web page loads within seconds.
I’ll wait until I get a response from Apple come January, but I was wondering if anyone on the Forum would be willing to share their respective opinions.

There are some differences between the configuration of Airport equipment sold in different countries, however this is likely to not be the cause of your system's issues. ( See this document for details on that - http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=58567 )
Hong Kong has a very high density of population, especially compared to Australia.. I suspect your wifi signal is probably getting interference from your neighbours wifi, phones and microwaves. There's not much you can do about this, except getting an external antenna for the AEBS and trying to drown them out with it.

Specific web page won't connect says I need internet 7

I have the latest browser for Firefox- and there is a web page that I can't get because says I need Internet explorer 7 (it is only this one site- its for my car payments)

If a website actually says that it requires IE7, there's not much you can do, but complain to the website owner. It's really quite surprising in this day and age; IE (all versions) don't even have 60 % of the market.

How do I generate a visitor report for a specific web page?

I want to look at the traffic/visitors who go to a specific page. Despite my searching the knowledge base, I can't see how to do this. To me, this is 'Web reports 101' - ie, a basic requirement, but it doesn't seem possible?

Slow loading of specific web pages

I noticed recently that safari loads specific pages quite slowly for example apple's website and gmail. But when i load web links that is being sent by my friend it loads quickly. Any people know what might cause this? Does it have any link with the latest security update?

Accessing a tab of a specific web page using cfhttp

I need to access a remote page using the cfhttp. To be more specific, I need to access this page: https://sistemas.dnpm.gov.br/SCM/Extra/site/admin/dadosProcesso.aspx?numero=861738&ano=2013 (Sorry, Brazilian government sites works better only in the I.E.)
This is a site of the Brazillian government that supervises mining areas all over the country. Each mining area has its own "numero" (number) and the "ano" (year) when it was registered at the National Department of Mineral Production - DNPM agency. As you can see (if you clicked the link to the DNPM website) there's a tab "Poligonal" at the top of it. Clicking on it will start a function created probably by the ASP.NET and it will generate a PNG image showing the area and some other processes near it. Example of the link above:
So here is the problem: Can I get the data from the "poligonal" tab using the CFHTTP, knowing the poligonal page doesn't have a direct link? I tried all I could to find a way to get this image, checked I the sourcecode, but I couldn't find any way to solve my problem. That's why I came here to see if somebody can help me with this.
