Book review sites?

I'd like to take advantage of the recent increase in the number of promo codes allowed per book by sending some promo copies out to review sites. Is there a listing of sites anywhere of review sites that cater to the iBook format? Some I've been to request Kindle versions, and we have that but the iBook version is so much better (and, of course, it's free to reviewers through the promo code). Any help would be appreciated.

I have read that book.. that's quite good book on SRM module.. and is recommended for better understanding... incase you have less time, that book will help a lot..
Alternatively, otherwise, incase you have enough time and need better understanding, you need to go through the SAP documentation from their offiicial website

FYI: You may terminate a specific app by just quickly double clicking the home button (this action displays the apps currently running at the bottom of the screen that you have control over), then select the app you want to terminate in this case iBooks by holding your finger on the app icon until you see the red dot with the minus, then simply touch the red dot and the job terminates cleanly without having to reboot the system.

Is Dreamweaver the best tool for creating a review site with user ratings/reviews? CMS?

I am really wanting to develop an online gaming review website and have some Dreamweaver/Wordpress/CMS questions i am hoping you can all help me with, thank you in advance for your patience as i am new to site development.
I am thinking of creating a review site which will involve me writing about 100 online gaming reviews, and then getting users to upload their comments/feedback, etc. Each of the reviews would be updated monthly with stats, performance, and other details. Each review would contain a text review, video review, and various images and screenshots. Integrating user-generated content will be a big factor.
I am trying to de-confuse myself with all the prep work around making sure i have the right tools and technology i need to be successful. Many people tell me i should use Wordpress due to the nature of my site, or at least a combination of Wordpress and Dreamweaver - not sure how that would work exactly. I dont want to be too dependant on just Wordpress because i want to be sure my site can be customized and i grow and enable more advanted value for my site visitors. ...i would love to have a members only area at some point in the near future.
Please see below for some questions running through my head:
1. Do i need a seperate CMS tool? ...and which may be best considering the nature of my site?
2. Should i use Wordpress instead? ...or a combination of Wordpress and Dreamweaver? - why should i use a combination of the two?
3. SEO is a major factor - does that make a difference?
4. My reviews will need to be updated monthly, so i will try to maximize the use of templates, etc. Do i need to create a dynamic site in Dreamweaver or will a CMS manage that?
5. Which options are best to avoid as much as manual coding as possible

Short answer: You don't need Dreamweaver. Simply install WordPress on your server and use it to build your site & add/edit content.

Hello all. I am finally making the switch and have a small question.

There is some serious reviewing going on there. Generally the best place to get a broad range of reviews for DAP's and all electronic devices. Also a search on google like this can be fruitful

Benchmarking and review sites

I have been watching THG especially of late and notice they have consistantly shown lower scores than I have on my system for benchmark scoring. As my system is not overclocked I find this to be interesting. For instance on CPU scores they show the A64-3400+ at 91xx score while mine is at 96xx. While I know this is not a huge difference I am showing scores that are higher than an FX-51 3200 or at least what THG is showing for that CPU.
While I am not complaining I wonder what everyone else's experience is on this issue. Have any of you checked you scores versus what the popular review sites like Tom's Hardware or Anandtech report? If so could you show them.
Personally I don't feel that they are giving prefference to anyone on these reviews but they may be doing something diferent that we are or maybe it is just something like memory or other peices they use in their testbench systems. Just the same it would be nice to see how we compair to them.

What CPU benchmarking program do you speak of?
One thing is, they may not be using the exact same version of testing software that you may be using.
Regarding the difference, I don't really think that the difference between your scores or their scores matters too much. Of course, I'm sure that you are using different equipment then the testing equipment they were using. It would be a different story if you put together the exact same system they used for testing, and you came up with different results.

Even though you are working with 2007, also look at the 2010 MSDN documentation. Some of it is better, even though many of the controls have not changed. (but there are more "Community Content" in the 2007 docs).

Prashant, DW environments are generally organized into multiple areas, some of which you've identified:
1. Source systems which provide data for the data warehouse
2. The "data warehouse" itself - a central repository for all the transactions, etc. collected from the source systems. Main function is to STORE all of the data in a clean, consistent manner
3. Possibly multiple datamarts that organize the base DW data into specific subsets that are meaningful to the end users. Can be ROLAP, MOLAP, HOLAP, etc.
Each of these tiers has different goals, which usually means they need separate architectures and/or hardware:
1. Don't put BI systems on top of your OLTP system...if a user writes a run-away query, it can bring down your transaction processing systems.....
2. DW can either be in 3nf or dimensional form, but its main job is to capture the low level transactions and make sure they conform to standards (including data quality, etc.) Users SOMETIMES run queries directly against DW tables, but once the DW starts getting big (i.e. terabytes) you probably don't want users hitting directly against it
3. OLAP datamarts are almost always in dimensional form, but only contain subsets of data from the DW. These are designed to hit very specific business problems, and typically are at a much higher level of detail than the DW.
Hope this helps. DON'T PUT YOUR DW or BI cubes on the OLTP system!!!

I recently bought a .Mac package and iLife so I have everything I need to set up a basic website.
I am planning to review books on part of this site and have a couple of questions:
1. How do I post thumbnail pictures of the covers of the book which will enlarge when clicked on ?
2. If I want to post a link to Amazon.com, is this possible on a .Mac website or against some sort of business restrictions Apple has ?

To answer question number one this will take some post publish editing of your page code. Look into a script called Lightbox or Greybox. Both are very cool, work with all browsers, and are not to hard to install. To answer question number two you can put affiliate links up but it is against .mac rules. My advice to you would be to look into another hosting service for many reasons. More space, less money, faster service, more reliable service, and so on. 1and1.com is what I use and they have been great. Another popular one is godaddy.com. Hope this helps.
