Booking of accruals and deferrals in ledger group not possible

when Booking of accruals and deferrals in ledger group BL is not booking for 2 documents.
error msg: posting to gl accounts with open item management is not possible.
pls give some inputs why accruals and deferrals are not posting.

SAP KBA: 1898300 -FSS0 - Deactivation Clearing Specific to Ledger Groups
To use ledger group-specific clearing for any GL account, you need to select this option while setting up GL account master data. By setting up this indicator, you can manage the GL account on an open item basis as well as post Ledger group-specific entries to the GL account

I'm trying to launch accruals and deferrals of comissons related to financing products.
I already,
IN MONEY MARKET
- Created flow type (XXX-Comissions) relevant to acc/defer.
- Associated flow type to an update type
IN GENERAL SETTINGS
-Accounting->
->Link to Other Accounting Components
Created posting specification
Assigned update type to posting specification
Assigned G/L Accounts to Account symbols
->Accrual/Deferral->Update Types->
->Assign Update Types for Accrual/Deferral ->Area: Defined acconting code, valuation area, product type and rate type and after I associated Update types for reset procedure to that flow type.
->Money Market: Define Accrual/Deferral: Defined the flow types for reset procedure
But till now nothing is happening, Does anyone knows what is missing or what I'm I doing wrong?

If you are using ECC 6.0 and above, please use TCode TPM44 for Accrual/Deferal, in older versions the Tcode is TBB4. Please provide the error message which you are getting while running the transaction with TPM44.
Also, the configuration have been moved to single place in ECC6. Please check above settings in your system.

Address Book: why do some Cards in a Group not get into the email?

I have a group with about 55 email addresses, each on a card in Address Book. When I use the list in Apple's Mail program, two cards do not get included.
This has happened many times, and I keep verifying the name is in the group.

Well, before I read your response . . . I started looking more seriously at my Address Book cards. Should have done this first! The problems ones had email addresses in the work phone field.
Unfortunately, when you look at the Card, both fields are labeled 'work.' If you make a mistake filling it out, you can't see the error unless you Edit the card.
But thanks for trying to help me! As a retired usability engineer, I hope someone will look at the labeling on the Cards!

I would like to know how to send a presentation from keynote of may IMAC to my IPAD. The problem is that I have Iwork09 and in the IPAD is not possible to open it because it says that it can not open Iwork 09. So how can I do it?

Numbers for iPad will not allow me to import my Numbers '08 worksheets into it. Ironically, Numbers for iPad will import .xls files. So, in Numbers '08 I exported to XLS. Transferred it to my iPad, and opened it with Numbers for iPad.
Seeing as how Apples applications for iPad are pretty limited, I'm guessing you can export your Keynote presentation to PPT and then import the PPT into Keynote for iPad; and that any loss you experience in exporting your presentation can't be played on Keynote for iPad anyway...

Apple TV 2 reset and update to iOS 5 not possible

I can't upgrade my ATV 2 to iOS 5.0.
I tried both ways described at support.apple.com. At ATV a message says it is not possible.... try again later.
When I connect ATV with a micro USB to my iMac, iTunes 11 does not recognize the ATV, so Im not able to reset it.

thats what I did. ATV does not become visible in itunes.
The support document is based on an older version of iTunes. Is the solution still valid?

Accruals and deferrlas

Im a lil bit confused on accruals and deferrals conceptually. can someone give some insight into it with an example.

Suppose you are paying on Nov 4th for october month rent. But you want to book it to current month
So dr. Accrual account
Cr: some g/l account
Close the month
In new period Reverse that entry as it is not a true transaction and post the regualr rent payment entry on 4th.
This is just to make sure that to book the costs that need to be booked in this month which are not being spent out and being spent in next month/ year.
Hope this will give you a idea.

Hi Esi,
basically, I'd suggest to work with the standard delivered IMG settings first and then try to build up an own IMG setting
concept that relates to this. You just need to use flow types that are assigned to appropriate accrual types and do the whole ACE customizing in IMG.
The already existing standard customizing should help you to get things going.
If not, do not hesitate to ask again.

IPhoto book: Deleting Pages and Back Cover Problems?

I am creating a book iphoto. I was all set with 100 pages and then the back flap and cover. Somehow, there is an extra page at the end and then the back flap and back cover are also now set as page, making my book 103 pages. I know this is not possible. Anyone able to offer any help?

Want to download information but tries to do it in media player and says not possible, want to change setting but how???

When I try to read an internet document in PDF or another format it tries to read it in Media Player and then says it's not possible. This means I cannot access information I need. I looked at every Menu I can, including Help and cannot change this setting. Please help me, I've obviously inadvertently chosen this option and now can't unchoose it. Please help me, it's very frustrating!!

Thank you. Actually I stumbled across that solution myself last night, really not having a clue but browsing through all the drop down menus and did what you said. The only option that seems to work is if I use Internet Explorer. Haven't downloaded any documents yet, but hopefully it will work next time.

Customize menubar clock and date in NOT possible from 10.6

it was very simple in 10.5 but from 10.6 there is NO way to customize (without other programs) the date... for example: mar 15 apr @ 15:30:20
And I saw that is not possible to change a single point in colon (10.15.13 or 10:15:13)

I've try but with SL is not possible to edit the file com.apple.menuextra.clock.plist. When you try with editor and save it it return as original and nothing changed in menubar...

Yes you can by creating a group and then dragging the contacts in to it. However, since iCloud, the Edit Distribution List feature has been grayed out. Without that feature, it is not possible to specifically select a single email address for those contacts that have multiple email addresses. A major flaw that will hopefully be fixed.

Update Ledger group in BKPF at the time of MIGO and MIRO

Dep area and ledger group

When I am saving some changes in my chart of depreciation, I receive an error for two areas 60 and 64.
"Depreciation area 64 posts to ledger group L6 with leading ledger
Message no. ACC_AA030
Diagnosis
The non-leading depreciation area 64 is assigned to ledger group L6. However, this ledger group contains the leading ledger. A depreciation area that does not post online must always be assigned to a ledger group that does not contain the leading ledger or none at all.
Procedure
Change the assignment for depreciation area 64."
I do not know how to continue.
The depreciation areas 60, 62 and 64 are assigned to ledger group L6

Accounting Principles and Ledger Groups

Dear All,
I have just discovered that for a previous project in my current Client that 3 of the ledger groups were never assigned an Accounting Principle.
Based on this SAP will post to these sub-ledgers based on the Accounting Principe assigned to the 0L Leading Ledger. Since all post via "GAAP" based principles will there be any impact on now creating new Accounting Principles for these ledgers/ledger groups?
The missing details relate to India GAAP and China GAAP. Assets posting seems to be OK based on the existing postings, but only the foreign currency valuation is missing as it was never done between the valuation area and the accounting principle were never assigned!!
Any opinions?

But by assigning the ledger group previously created to the new accounting principle will this then have any issues in our postings?
Obviously we will do the testing, especially for assets, etc.
