Bookmark in WAD7 shows old or current data

Hi guys
please confirm
1) if the bookmark created in wad 7 will show old data or the current data if it is run at a later period?
2) the bookmark bi 7 is getting created on the top of the browser page and not on the address bar. how can i enable the wad to display the bookmark created on the address bar.?

bookmark only holds the View/variables not the data., if new data has been added then it will show new data ..
if you are tryingn to shwo the bookamrk at internet explorer level that doesnt work
you can show book mark at the web template level inside the internet explorer. you need to create a menu item and assing bookmark in it.. if you require the steps let me know.

Can we show an active current date and time in a Form continuously?
Perhaps in the main menu form.
So the user can see the moving time, instantly when the time change (withour pushing F5 for refreshing the form)

Here is a quick, untested suggestion that sketches out one way of approaching this.
If you only require updates every 60 seconds, you can use the TIMER built-in to create a repeating timer with a sixty-second delay. Each time the timer expires, update a text item to reflect the current time (obtained by selecting SYSDATE from DUAL on the database.)
If the time is to be updated precisely when the minute changes, use two timers -- the same one described above, and a one-shot. Before you create either timer, run the following query:
SELECT 60-TO_NUMBER(TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'ss')) FROM DUALThis will give the number of seconds remaining until the minute changes. Use this value to set the duration of the one-shot timer. When it expires, create the repeating sixty-second timer.
There is a good possibility that this method will not be terribly precise, depending on factors like server resources, user load and network distance. A more network-friendly approach would be to use a JavaBean that relies on the PC's system timer to track the passage of time, and calculates server time based on the observed time difference between PC & server.

Why does old sale order (The deliver date before current date) show VSF (independent requirement) in MD04?

Dear All,
I face one issue, the old sales order (the delivery date before current date) has became VSF (independent requirement) in MD04, could someone let me know why and how to fix it?
Take 01.09.2014 as example, we have one 50PC's sales order with delivery date as 25.08.2014, in MD04, the system will show two independent requirements, one is 50PC's customer order and another is 50PC's VSF.

If I understood the issue correctly, system is showing both the sales order and the PIR on the same date, right?
If this is the case, it's probably a PIR consumption issue. Take a look on the following note, especially question 10:

Hi There,
The reason could be that there are some changes in the form of the report. You can try to regenerate the report and see if you have the most current data.

I have an iPhone 4S that is a replacement of a defective 4s and it shows over 3Gb of data backed up in the cloud from my old 4s. How can I find out what is in this backup? It is preventing me from backing up my new 4s to the cloud due to the amt of data.

When I activated the newer phone, I believe I transferred over everything except pictures (had multiple failures trying to backup and restore). Now the phone shows over 3Gb of data backed up in the cloud from my old 4s. How can I find out what is in this backup? It is preventing me from backing up my new 4s to the cloud due to the amt of data. It may be duplicated info that I don't need or I may want to archive the backup or parts of it like pictures.

You can not access the backup directly.
Did you restore your replacement from this backup?
If so then you already have everything in the backup on your device.
If not, you can wipe the device and restore from this backup:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings
What is it you are worried about losing that isn't already on your current device?

Planning query donu2019t show current data

Hello,
I have an input ready query over an aggregation level of a real time cube. Whenever the yellow request is closed and a new request is opened, the input ready query does not show the old data. And sometimes it shows incorrect data. We found that the issue is with the Cache.
In RSRT when opening the input ready query in debug mode with "Do not use cache setting", the query returns correct data. But the surprise thing is that, the input ready query has Cache setting as inactive (0) in RSRT. So we had to generate the Delta buffer query <infoprovider>/!!1<infoprovider> in RSRT where <infoprovider> is the name of the real time cube.
This solved our problem and the query brought in correct data. But again when I close the second request, the input ready query again shows me no data or shows me wrong data. So again we need to generate the delta buffer query in RSRT <infoprovider>/!!1<infoprovider>.
This is very annoying when considering the fact that you have to generate the delta buffer query every time the request is closed. This could be a overhead in maintenance and will not go well with people.
Does anybody have any solutions for solving this issue. Is there any setting by which we can turn off cache altogether or delete cache when a request is closed etc? or worst conditions how to automate the generation of delta buffer queries every time the request is closed?
Any help is really appreciated.

How to show current date in a column of dimension table in ssas

I have 2 dimension tables (ALLWORK and YOURWORK) and 1 measure table (STATS). In ALLWORK dim table, I have 4 columns, one of them is END_DATE. Based on END_DATE and current date I want to create a named calculation field. To achieve this, I
want to show the current date in 5th column (of ALLWORK dim table) as calculated member (as named calculation wont show me correct date).
Problem is, I am not able to create the column in the dimension table. While creating the calculated member, I am not able to select the ALLWORK dimension table, it always selects MEASURE by default. Please help.

Option to show values up to last closed fiscal period or up to current date

Hello,
How would I create a query that would ask if I want it to calculate values 'up to the current date' or for the 'latest closed fiscal period'.
Currently I have setup a report, within which, has restricted key figures that will give the 'Period to date', 'Year to Date', and 'Last Year Year to Date' values for some RKFs, however, it would be very helpful if this report could be setup so that the user could choose whether the report provides:
1. Values only through the last closed fiscal period
or
2. Values up to the current date.
<b>For example</b> if we are in period 7 of 2006, the user could have the report show all values up to the last closed fiscal period, which in this case would be period 6 of 2006.
Or the user could have the report show all the values up to the current date.

What is the problem you are facing? As San mentioned you can only report till Last Fiscal Period using Customer Exit Variables(Calculate Current Fiscal Period using Current Month and Fiscal Year Variant).
Or as you mentioned you can create restricted Key Figures using Date or month (YTD etc)

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- Try on another computer

The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.

ICal still shows previous day in ical proper, but shows current date in the dock

iCal is open in the MONTH, on my desktop permanently, but it continually shows yesterdays date. It isn't till I actually click on the following day in iCal proper that the date changes to the current date. The iCal icon on the dock works fine with no issues. When I first purchased the iMac iCal worked aok. Software is continually updated.

I have the same issue. I am also running iCal 5.0.2 under Lion 10.7.3. It worked fine for me on Lion 10.7.2, and it still works ok for me on my iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1. It does look like a bug to me. I have the issue connecting to a Google Calendar as well as to another (non-Apple) CalDAV server.
Let me know if you call Apple Support to report this issue.

are you using Universe for your report..if Yes..pls try below option.
Create two objects in the universe
Object1 syntax: current date() (Note:this object you can create at webi level)
Object 2 syntax:addmonths(sysdate;-2)
Now create a alert in webi report by using below conditions
Day is less than Object1
and
Day is greater than Object2
Please try this and let me know if any issues.

Our form has some column headers that need to change each year, the headings are current year (2010) + previous 3 years. Am trying to programatically add the titles to eliminate modifying the form just to change the year, but not finding how to accomplish, and was checking out some date samples found, but no success yet. My question is 2 part - how/where do I put code, I don't need the user to enter anything, just want a column header. This example below is where I copied the idea from a sample and tried to adjust, it's on the calculate event of a date/time field, and I get an error message that says 'the display pattern "date-{MM/DD]" is incompatible with the object's data format. Define a compatible Display pattern. This display pattern error is the 2nd part of the question. How do I display only the 4 digit year?

1) I typically use a hidden field to capture the current date on the layout:ready event.
2) If year1 is a date object your script is valid but you are probably missing the display pattern date{YYYY} on year1.
If year1 is a text field you could could capture current year in a hidden field as
// form1.page1.currentYear::ready:layout - (FormCalc, client)
$.rawValue = Num2Date(Date(), "YYYY")
where currentYear has the display pattern date{YYYY} and add
this.rawValue = form1.page1.currentYear.rawValue;
to the calculate event of year1.

Java code to show current date & time on PDF

I have no experience with Java whatsoever and I am hoping somebody out there will be able to help me. Basically we are in the process of uploading all our SOP's to a public share on our Network. Due to regulatory reasons everytime the document is opened it will need to show the current date which will also show when printed. I have adobe 9 pro and see there is a area that you can input Java code so with the power of Java im sure this can be done. Ideally this would be like a watermark across all the page diagonally faded into the background of each page on the PDF.

Is this a screen or a report?
If its a report, try assigning DEFAULT sy-datum (to the parameter/select-option name)
If its a screen field, try writing this in the PBO:
IF fieldname IS INITIAL.
fieldname = sy-datum.
ENDIF.
