Bookmark/Links only word with basic URL not extended URL

Why when I put this in my url field and an error message comes up:
http://www.berardchiropractic.com/BerardFamily_Chiropractic/Methuen_Chiropractor_Christopher_BerardDC.html
Then, I put this in the url field and the website comes up
http://www.berardchiropractic.com
Why is this happening and why does it only happen w/ the home page?
It doesn't happen when I use the extended url on any other page like this one:
http://www.berardchiropractic.com/BerardFamily_Chiropractic/Dr._Christopher_Berard_Methuenchiropractor.html
How do I fix this. People are bookmarking it then later on they get an error and have to manually type in www.berardchiropractic.com

The homepage really isn't just www.berardchiropractic.com. You can use that to get to it directly but when you get there the actual address shows up as http://www.berardchiropractic.com/BerardFamily_Chiropractic/MethuenChiropractor.html
I think it is because I am using .mac to host my own domain. Since I am publishing to .Mac my .Mac base URL http://web.mac.com/berardamy/ and not my registered domain name http://www.berardchiropractic.com
www.berardchiropractic.com is registered with GoDaddy. I have the domain set up to forward to the .mac account.
I think the bookmarking problem has something to do with the domain masking/forwarding I described above.
I just want to make sure when people type in www.berardchiropractic.com to visit the site that they can bookmark it and have their bookmark show up as www.berardchiropractic.com and not http://www.berardchiropractic.com/BerardFamily_Chiropractic/MethuenChiropractor.html
because this longer extended url name or actual website designation doesn't show up when accessed from favorites or bookmark. Can anyone explain why it doesn't and what can I do to fix it?

I called Apple and they said that they know about this problem. It's a problem with iCloud which their Engineers know about. (there was a new iCloud release, hence...) No ETA for a fix yet. I asked that this be escalated so Engineering doesn't put it at the bottom of their fix list. I talked to a Senior Advisor and mentioned to them to have QA check their regression tests as this has happened before to me (the problem just didn't take this long to resolve). I like to use green too for important stuff, so I've resorted to creating a new calendar using the normal calendar green for events going forward. They could have picked another color besides green to have this problem with and I wouldn't have been so upset. ;-)

Photos which are uploaded through icloud control panel are only synced with iPhone but not with iPad. Photos taken with iPhone or iPad are synced with all devices. So, why I do not get the uploaded photos from my pc to iPad? I alredy disabled photo stream on all devices - same failure

If only one device is not getting updated data, you need to troubleshoot that device and not photostream itself.
Verify that ipad is connected to wifi, charged over 20 percent, camera app is closed and take a photo of the screen (or anything else, but then close that camera app).
Open photostream folder on that ipad and see if picture shows up. If you network is good, should not take long.
Don't forget that while your phone can use wifi and cellular (even it suppose to use wifi for photostream, cellular networks got much better since original photostream was implemented) - you ipad is probably wifi only.
If picture shows up - you ipad and photostream have no problems and you can go to other devices one by one.

Did your computer crash or did Firefox crash causing the loss of the bookmarks?

Safari is not working and siri only works with the phone not internet related questions.

I have an Iphone 5 and for about 8 months it worked find, then somewhere along the line I think about the time I upgraded to the latest OS, Safari stopped working. That is when I hit a link from email or open safari I get the browser window but nothing works, like its been blocked. Siri of course only works with internal serches, through contacts and such. My other browsers (crome, oprea and mercury) work fine. I have been through all the internal settigns I can find, but nothing has worked. Have cleared history cookes with no suceess. Any ideas?

The first thing I recommend is quitting and relaunching the applications on your iPhone:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.

If you are still seeing the same issue after quitting and relaunching the apps that are open, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.

NB520, Replaced display, only work with AC power, not work with battery

I just replaced a broken display on my 7 months old Toshiba NB520 and now it only works with AC power.
The battery icon shows 52% but not charging.
When I plug out the AC power, it turns off.

For 9iAs 9.0.2.x the PDFEMBED command is documented as being allowed with rwservlet, but not rwserver. Since we are only running rwserver (for batch-only reports), does that mean that embedding PDF fonts in the reports will not happen?

First, I find it annoying that relatively recent threads are closed so quickly, especially when good solutions aren't found to the questions posed.
In this case, I see someone else wanted to open their bookmarks in a new window, not a tab or sidebar.

The 'chosen' answer provided was use Ctrl Shift B. That does open the Library in a separate window.
But for me that's totally inadequate, because one can only view the contents of one folder at a time. And I have hundreds. The person posing the question replied that detailed information on each bookmark is not displayed that way either. In my case, with a large and developed bookmark tree, that telescoping two panel view poses an unworkable limitation. And one that kept me at FF 3.6.28 until a year ago, when I found an answer to that problem, and this gentleman's also, I believe.
I'm now using FF 27, with the All In One Sidebar extension. I believe that adds a Bookmarks Icon with a Star at the top of a new sidebar.
If set up properly (see customize), left clicking allows you to "display your bookmarks" as a Sidebar, New Tab or New Window. But more importantly, in the New Window at least, it is not in the dreaded two pane mode where I can only view the contents of a single selected folder at any one time. Instead, I can open multiple folders at one time and see multiple individual bookmarks, buried in separate folders or subfolders, at one time. Ie, the same hierarchical layout that used be available before FF 4 changed the whole bookmarks architecture. So, when I open a new folder to view its contents, it doesn't close the prior folder automatically. And that's the way it should be. Users should have options, not have particular behavior imposed on them. Now, I'm not confident that I can upgrade to a newer FF as I was not readily able to get the same functionality out of AIOS using a more recent version of FF. But I didn't try hard, so it might also work with newer versions. Perhaps someone can verify that.

As far as older versions of Firefox and how they worked, you are mistaken about how Firefox 3.6.xx works - basically the same as the later versions all the way up the the current Firefox 35 Release version. The last version that had the old Bookmarks Manager window, where you could have multiple folders open in the right pane was Firefox 2.0.0.20. Regardless of how each individual user thinks Firefox "should work", it works they way Mozilla decided it should work. If you don't like the way the standard features work you can always install extensions that do have the features you want. Mozilla doesn't impose anything on their users; don't like something find an extension that does it better for you. And it an extension doesn't exist; learn to create those features yourself by building your own extension. Still not good enough; use a different browser that works the way you think it should work.
As far as updating to Firefox 35 goes, use the Firefox Portable version to experiment with, so you don't risk your current installation in case you don't like the new version.

Select only words with capitals

If I have data stored in my Database much like this Sentence, with Some words containing uppercase letters and some not, what is the simplest Way to select only those words which contain upperCase letters?
From the above sentence, for example, I would want to see the result :
If I Database Sentence Some Way upperCase
Note that the uppercase letter(s) will not always be at the start of a word.
Is there a simple way to achieve this? I started dabbling with REGEXP_LIKE, but my regular expressions are pretty hopeless at the best of times :-(

I've seen more regular expression syntax explanation documents in my time than you've had hot dinners, probably. I'm afraid I still plead complete ignorance and find constructing anything other than the very simplest incredibly difficult, even with the help of various freebie utilities and tools you can download to help you do the job. It's a blind spot I have, and it's not going away any time soon. So yes, I have seen before at least the first of those pages you linked to, but I can't say it's helped me much.
For the rest, I gave an example of the input and output I'd like to achieve. Your suggestion regarding the lastname column from the EMP table doesn't help in that regard, and even when I translate it into something approaching my actual situation, it doesn't do what I need it to do:

Ipad will only charge with one charger, not recognize by pc or itunes

I have an Ipad 1. I bought a third party car charger to charge the ipad. I charged it with this charger one time. The next time I tried to charge the ipad with the original 10W wall outlet charger, it would not charge. I bought another apple ipad charger, thinking my original charger had quit working, it still would not charge. I plugged it back into the car charger and discovered that it will only charge on that particular charger. Now itunes nor my windows pc will recognize the ipad. I uninstalled itunes and installed the newest version. I also hard reset the ipad and now I have a worthless ipad that will not connect to itunes. Any suggestions?

It's possible that charger damaged some part of the connection on the iPad. There's little metal contacts on that small silicon chip sticking out of the port and if something happens to one of those little contacts it can effect how it works.
You can try taking it into an apple store and have them look at it. If you'd only used 'official' stuff there'd probably be no question but once they know that the damage, potential damage, was caused by a third party device, then it may be up to the discretion of the manager what they do with it. Whether they replace it under warranty or decide that the warranty is void (I honestly don't know how strict they can be with the use of third party devices and how they may/may not work)

Custom service only working with one file, not multiple ones

Hi,
I created a service in which I can resize selected images through photoshop and format them for the web. I was able to successfully place this into a contextualized menu, which is awesome for me.
However, when I select a group of files in the finder, secondary click, and run the service, the action only completes the first file. The other files remain open in photoshop (they do not get resized, or saved).
What am I doing wrong?
My service workflow looks like this:
Service recieves selected "image files" in "any application"
Save for Web:
save to: "a web folder I made for this practice"
use "Adobe photoshop CS
type: jpeg
constrain size to 800 X 800
Then the second part of the workflow is"Make names Web-Friendly.
I found these plugins on Apples download page, called "save for web 2.5"
Any help would be great.

Why are some of the game features covered, so therefore, unusable on my facebook games? This is only true with Firefox and not Internet Explorer.

I can't play most of my games on Facebook because some of the feature buttons are covered up. Like the enlarge screen button, and I can't get to some of my neighbors because of this problem. It's like the box you play in, in the middle of the page is to small. It wasn't always like this, it seems like it happened on one of the upgrades but I can't remember which one. I think it may have been this 3.6 one but again I'm not sure. I'm having to use Internet Explorer to play my games on Facebook and I really, really do not like IE. I like Firefox, It is comfortable and easy to use and I really would like to correct this problem as soon as possible!! It's like my page is divided into 3 columns and the middle column is not wide enough. Thank you for your help.

Upgraded to 23.0.1 and now bookmarks toolbar only shows open tabs and not bookmarks. How to I fix?

Running Win 7 Home Premium. When I upgraded to Firefox 23.0.1, the Bookmarks Toolbar no longer shows my bookmarks which are in Bookmarks Toolbar but shows open tabs. If I uncheck "View Bookmarks Toolbar" the blank toolbar disappears, open tabs stay in there position. If I recheck "View Bookmarks Toolbar" a blank toolbar reopens but open tabs are on the toolbar. I tried to move a bookmark to the toolbar but all it does is open a tab of the location of the bookmark I tried to position on the toolbar.
