I Want to sync bookmarks from iPad mini into Mac air, but the sync Payne does not appear when I touch the info button

Welcome to the Support Communities! The best way to sync your bookmarks from your iPad min to your MacBook Air is to use iCloud. Do you have iCloud set up on your devices? If so, just turn the Safari feature on. Here are a few resources that explain this further:

Turn iCloud features on or off

"Organize Bookmarks" has been renamed to "Show All Bookmarks" in the bookmarks menu.

Sync does not appear to sync from mobile- desktop only from desktop- mobile

Does Firefox sync only work from desktop to your mobile (android) device?
If I save a bookmark on my android device my bookmark does not appear to show up on my desktop.
If I save a bookmark on my desktop it will sync to my android device, is syncing one direction only?

The "SYNC" option does not appear when device is plugged into computer.

Sync isn't built in to Firefox 3.6 versions, but it will be part of Firefox 4.
Install the Firefox Sync extension in Firefox 3.6:

I found a couple of resources that have steps to troubleshoot issues with connecting your iPhone with a car stereo.
I recommend reviewing the section titled "Features and app interaction>Bluetooth" in the following article:

I also recommend following these steps:
Unable to find nearby Bluetooth accessories
If a pairing record already exists, the device does not appear as discoverable. Try to connect the device using that pairing record.
If you are unable to connect using the existing pairing record, delete the record and pair again.
Ensure that the firmware or software on the Bluetooth accessory is up to date.
Ensure that the Bluetooth accessory is charged or connected to power.
Verify that the Bluetooth accessory is using a profile that works with the iOS device.
Turn off both the iOS device and the Bluetooth accessory, then turn both devices on again.
If the issue persists, test Bluetooth with another device or consult the manufacturer's documentation.

The bookmark box does not appear, bookmarks straight to the bottom of the list

When I use the Bookmarks menu at the top of the page, hit Bookmark this page, the little box that USED to popup to assign what catagory folder the bookmark is to go into, does not appear.
the page is bookmarked, but goes on the bottom of the list, instead of into a catagory folder.
Having MANY catagory folders, I am forced to scroll down several times to see the book mark!
JUST started doing this when Firefox updated to 3.6.
Any fixes for this?

It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. I am able to bookmark a site, but "Bookmarks" button does not appear.

HTC Evo 4G. Firefox mobile browser 20.0.1
Using Firefox browser, if I am at a website and press "Menu" on my phone I have the "Bookmark" option. Pressing it I get "Bookmark added" message.
But then when I press "Menu", it gives me the "Bookmark" option still (i.e., add a Bookmark), but it does not show me any of the Bookmarks which I have created.
Are "Top sites" my bookmarks?
I'm ready to go back to the stock Android browser if this and one other problem cannot be resolved with Firefox.
The other issue is that I press the Firefox icon on my home screen, and the browser initializes.
The address bar says "Enter Search or Address".
I press the address bar, and it now says "about:home", and the letters are white covered in orange.
But there is no keyboard.
I want to type an address in the address bar, but I cannot.
Pressing "Menu" on my phone does not give me a "Keyboard" option.
Below the address bar is listed horizontally "Top sites", "Bookmarks", and "History".
But no Qwerty keyboard.
NOTE - During the time I've been typing this, a QWERTY keyboard finally appeared.
But I want to see one at once, when I press the address bar and it turns orange over the address bar writing.
Why don't I see a keyboard?
I will go back to the stock EVO browser if these problems can't be solved.

Regarding your first question about bookmarks, I think you discovered the answer in when you pressed the address bar. The second tab there has your bookmarks.
As for the keyboard, I'm not sure why your Firefox is reacting so slowly; mine seems to show keyboards even when I don't want them. If you have accumulated a lot of history, perhaps that's an issue?
Did you use any third party software to move your Firefox data from internal memory to the storage card?

Manual Sync does not appear on IPHONE summary

I just purchased a new iphone today and have not been able to manually sync my music from my library into my phone. Th manual sync option does not even appear when the phone is connected to itunes. (Quite odd.) Only two options appear in the summary: "Auto Sync" and "Sync only checked songs". What is wrong? Please help!!!! I've been staring at this computer screen for hours trying to get that option to appear. Thanks....

Have you installed the current iTunes version, and is your iPhone running the current firmware version which is 1.1.3?
The manually manage music and videos option still requires a sync - it just provides for dragging content from your iTunes library to the iPhone instead of using a Playlist or the sync only checked songs and video option.

Sync does not appear in options window

downloaded Firefoxsetup.3.6.10 from Mozilla Firefox Sync webpage. Twice Installed > restart Firefox > opens as normal NO other message. Sync is NOT in "options" window. Windows XP SP3 up to date. Was 3.6.10 before instal. How do I instal Sync?

Bookmarks Toolbar does not appear in "Show All Bookmarks"

I keep all my bookmarks in the Bookmarks Toolbar folder. All are intact and functional. They appear to back up properly (i.e., viewing a newly-created json file with MS Notepad, I find nothing to suggest that anything is missing). BUT, I can't actually view/organize these (or any other) bookmarks in the Library. After clicking "Show All Bookmarks," the main Library pane that opens is empty. In the navigation pane at the left, there is an entry "+ All Bookmarks," suggesting there's an expandable tree there. Clicking on the "+" has no effect; no expanded tree in the Nav pane, no bookmarks in the main pane. In short, I have no way to organize my existing bookmarks, even though they are intact and functional.

I tried your SafeMode suggestion. There was no change in the performance of the Bookmark Library; it still opens blank and the "+ All Bookmarks" will not expand.
I skimmed through a few hundred other questions and answers and found a handful of others with what appears to be a similar problem. I'm currently looking at this:

I tried the backup/restore solution. I creating a new backup, verifying that it was current by adding a new bookmark just before backing up, and then checking the json file to be sure it was there. No problem. I did a restore: all bookmarks look like they're still OK, but there was no change in the performance of the Library window.
I'll try CHKDSK next, before I attempt a full rebuild of places.sqlite.

"More bookmarks" list does not appear

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

The bookmarks button does not appear in my browser

The button is supposed to be next to the home button, but it is not there

You only see that button on the Navigation Toolbar if the Menu bar is hidden (View > Toolbars).
If the Bookmarks Toolbar is visible then the button is displayed on that toolbar.
Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.

I want to sync mail on a few computers but Firefox sync does not appear in the tools menu. Do I need to download and install syncing tool? Thanx

Also, bear in mind, please that at home I use Mac and in the office Win 7. I'd like to be able to sync my emails on both computers and my netbook which I use when travelling.

Firefox doesn't do email, thus Firefox Sync has no features for email.
If you are accessing your email thru Firefox, you are using web mail. By default most email portals keep your email until you delete it. You should be able to access your email from anywhere - not device dependent.
