Bookmark toolbar is not displaying save bookmarks

I have 8 bookmarks saved in the bookmark toolbar, recently they stopped displaying, even though the toolbar is checked to display in browser. The toolbar is blank, but when I look at the bookmarks menu, I see 8 in the toolbar sub menu.

Make sure toolbars like the "Bookmarks Toolbar" are visible.
*"3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize > Show/Hide Toolbars
*View > Toolbars<br>Tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar
*Right-click empty toolbar area
Open the Customize window and set which toolbar items to display.
*"3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize
*check that "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
*if "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize palette into the Customize window to the Bookmarks Toolbar
*if missing items are in the Customize palette then drag them back from the Customize window on the toolbar
*if you do not see an item on a toolbar and in the Customize palette then click the Restore Defaults button to restore the default toolbar setup

    hi ,
    it depends on the user parameters.
    U have to identify the parameter id and u have to activate it in user maintainance partameters .
    su01 -> parameters.
    ex .  parameter id ->  SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN -> X
    so u can save layout now.

  • My yahoo toolbar will not display.

    My yahoo toolbar will not display. Tried re-setting, reinstalling the toolbar and resetting firefox. Still doesn't display.

    I ended up getting rid of my Yahoo toolbar altogether and now I'm happy and hassle-free. See:
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1043713
    If you choose to do what I did--go to each page/website you like. Click and move the "www. Globe" in the address bar down to the Bookmarks Bar--"Most Visited" bar. When the toolbar is filled, they will be in the side-bar when you click >> to the right. You can move them around by clicking on their icon. You can delete any by right-clicking. Play with it and you will see.
    For bookmarks: Add the Bookmarks Manager App from the 3-bar menu bar at the top right. I exported my Yahoo bookmarks to an HTML file (as backup). Then click on Bookmarks Manager App--click on Show All Bookmarks--click on Import and Backup in Menu Bar--click on Import Bookmarks from HTML. To save a page into Firefox Bookmarks--just click on the star in the toolbar at the top--it will turn blue--click it again to put it into a folder or make a new one. The dialog box also shows you how to edit or delete a bookmark.
    I am not a computer whiz so I had to write it in layman's terms.
    It is really easier and quicker than the Yahoo toolbar. It looks cleaner too!

  • Google Toolbar will not display in Firefox 4

    I have downloaded, and reinstalled, the latest version of the Google Toolbar for use in Firefox 4. While the "space" exists at the top of the browser for the toolbar to show, the actual toolbar is not displaying. I assumed this problem would be solved by now? I have also uninstalled all add ons, and still had the same problem.

    I had this same issue. Then I created a new firefox profile and installed the google toolbar again over this new profile, and the problem was solved.
    I followed this guide.

  • Menu toolbar icons not displayed in colour when deployed on the Web

    Hello!
    We are developing an application using Forms6i on Windows NT.
    Our problem is that menu toolbar icons are not displayed in colour when the application is deployed on the Web using lookAndFeel = generic. This is the case both when using Microsoft IE5 and Netscape 4.5. When lookAndFeel = oracle, however, the icons are displayed in colour.
    The icons are stored as *.gif files in the same directory as the application *.html file. It does not help to create a virtual path /web_icons/ in the www listener and edit the parameter default.icons.iconpath in the file Registry.dat.
    When running the application as client/server, the menu toolbar icons are displayed in colour as expected.
    Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

    But did you try to printout the form anyway? I guess you will see the icons on the printout, won't you?

  • Downloaded latest version of FF and now the Yahoo toolbar will not display when I enable it to?

    I have checked the settings for displaying the Yahoo toolbar on FF. Has always worked fine until now?

    Finding where to get the new versions of Firefox or the Yahoo toolbar is not the problem, I know where those are since I have uninstalled and downloaded them both 3 times...but last night did find some solution when I logged out of Yahoo to log on with one alternate ID I use, when I did that the toolbar showed up.
    So I logged out ad back in with my primary ID and it still showed up. But I did see if I logged out, closed Firefox, open Firefox again and sign in with my primary ID the tool bar once again doesn't display until I log back out back on again.

  • Bookmark toolbar will not display icons only

    downloaded the app to retain old look. In settings icons only is the default but still have the text.

    Add code to the <b>userChrome.css</b> file below the default @namespace line.
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/userChrome.css
    <pre><nowiki>@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */
    #PlacesToolbarItems > .bookmark-item:not([container]) > .toolbarbutton-text{display:none !important}
    </nowiki></pre>
    The customization files userChrome.css (user interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the <b>chrome</b> folder in the Firefox profile folder.
    *http://kb.mozillazine.org/Editing_configuration
    You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
    *Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
    * Create the chrome folder (lowercase) in the <xxxxxxxx>.default profile folder if this folder doesn't exist
    * Use a plain text editor like Notepad to create a (new) userChrome.css file in this folder (the names are case sensitive)
    * Paste the code in the userChrome.css file in the editor window and make sure that the userChrome.css file starts with the default @namespace line
    * Make sure that you select "All files" and not "Text files" when you save the file via "Save file as" in the text editor as userChrome.css. Otherwise Windows may add a hidden .txt file extension and you end up with a not working userChrome.css.txt file

  • Menu, Nav, Favourites and Toolbars are not displaying.

    Heres a screen shot of Firefox on my computer - [http://i.imgur.com/meaTv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/meaTv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/meaTv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/meaTv.jpg] of Everything at the top. No Bookmarks bar, nav bar, toolbars, nothing. I was trying to customize the layout and after I finished everything was gone. I right-click and everything is selected, it should be there, but its not. I went into customize and reset the layout to default but that didn't fix anything. I restarted my PC, that did nothing. And when I exit firefox it doesn't actually stop, firefox.exe is still running and I have to manually close it from the Windows Task Manager.

    To restore the navigation toolbar and the bookmarks toolbar, click on the orange Firefox button, then in the Options sub-menu click on "Navigation Toolbar". Repeat this for the "Bookmarks Toolbar".
    If you want the old style menus back, use the above process but this time click on "Menu Bar".

  • Add-on toolbar is not displayed for a pdf package

    The add-on toolbar have started not to be displayed in Adobe Acrobat for a pdf package since I created a new plug-in. The new plug-in put the coversheet on the front of the package when the pdf package is open.
    I was testing and found out that the following method (included in my plug-in code) is making the add-on toolbar hiddenCosDictRemove(cosColl,ASAtomFromString("D"));
    This is part of my code:CosDoc cosDoc = PDDocGetCosDoc(pdDoc);
    CosObj cosCat = CosDocGetRoot(cosDoc);
    CosObj cosColl = CosDictGet(cosCat,ASAtomFromString(
    "Collection"));
    if(CosObjGetType(cosColl) == CosDict){
    if(CosDictKnown(cosColl,ASAtomFromString("D"))){
    CosDictRemove(cosColl,ASAtomFromString(
    "D"));}
    bRtn = TRUE;
    I need to enable the add-on toolbar programmatically. I have tried to enable the toolbar using the code shown below but it didn't work. I don't know what else to do. Please could you help me out?.

  • In Firefox, the Skins toolbar is not displaying correctly. Is there any way to add padding to fix it

    The Skins toolbar looks great in Internet Explorer and Chrome, but Firefox does not have any padding around the toolbar buttons (see picture). Is there a way to add padding?
    Thanks for your help,
    Colleen

    Hello again
    Your response makes me wonder if you misunderstood me. Especially the bit about "transparent" buttons. Because that's precisely what I was suggesting. Add the "padding" you want, by adding some transparent area at the bottom of the buttons. That way the appearance should be that the buttons have some blank space below where the image ends and the divider.
    At least that's what I interpreted you to be wanting.
    Cheers... Rick

  • Properties Toolbar not displaying in Acrobat Standard 9.0

    In editing an Adobe document the Properties Toolbar does not display even though the Toolbar is checked.     The Toolbar will not display unless the document is exited and all Adobe documents are closed and Adobe is opened again.    Is this a known bug or has anyone else run into this?

    We have definitely ran into this.  Not a clue as to how to fix it, other than close and re-open Acrobat, as you are doing, which creates new issues.

  • I would like to display my bookmarks permanently. Clicking on Firefox, Options and then checking the Bookmarks Toolbar does not do this. How can I display the bookmarks along the left margin like they used to display?

    I would like to display my bookmarks. Clicking on Firefox, then Options and then checking off the Bookmarks Toolbar does not do this.
    What do I have to do to permanently display my bookmarks?

    I asked how I could display my bookmarks permanently.
    This answer does not address that issue. Instead, it tells me how I can display my bookmarks temporarily.
    While this is nice to know, I wanted to find out how to display my bookmarks permanently - not temporarily.
