Bookmarking no longer works correctly after updating to the latest version of Firefox. How can this be fixed?
In the past, when I tried to bookmark a Web page, I had the option of choosing where I wanted the bookmark stored. If I selected "Choose," I would be presented with a list of all my folders. Not any more! Now, if I select "Choose," I am presented with only three options: "Bookmarks Toolbar," "Bookmarks Menu," and "Unsorted Bookmarks."
Firefox continues to become increasingly difficult to use, and appears to be less stable. I fell that I am being forced to migrate to Google Chrome. What is going on?
BTW, Firefox prevented support.mozilla.org from asking me to install software on my computer, so I was not able to automatically add troubleshooting information.

No. After I select "Choose" the dialog box expands to provide only three choices. This is a new bug. I have only seen it in the past week or so, but it is maddening. I have observed that, while the Mozilla Foundation focuses on trivialities like which search engine should be the default, the Firefox application becomes buggier and buggier. Most of my family has switched to Chrome, and I will be following shortly. Firefox used to be a great program. Not any more. Getting assistance with a problem has also become very difficult.

The page load progress bar that was on the lower right of the window is no longer there. After updating to the latest version of Firefox on my Mac there is no progress bar for the page load. How do I get my "save and quit" back after updating to the latest version of Firefox on a PC?
How do I get my "save and quit" back I do not like having to close all my tabs and loose all that every time I close out of firefox. When I got the latest version of firefox I lost the ability for firefox to save my tabs when I close out of it. I have to go through the process of opening all my tabs and refinding the sites all over again each time I load up firefox. I can not find the place to change the settings to being back the way they were before firefox got the latest version. I want my "save and quit" back.

You are posting in the Flash Player forum; do you really receive emails with Flash attachments?
Flash Player also cannot scan or send emails.

I had this problem. I held down the power switch to power down completely. Takes a few seconds. Then use the power switch to turn on. Might take a couple goes.

after update to the latest version, the tinny pic in front the bookmarks disappeared. I think it is called the identity info...
when I go to the website, they will appear on the tap, but when I go through my bookmarks, they are not there, usually they are remembered after the first visit.

My Ipod touch plays music but every time I open an app that I have downloaded it closes immediately. This started happening after updating to the latest version of Ipod software.
Here's a couple things to try:
1. Reset the iPod by holding the sleep/wake button and home button at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
2. Uninstall and reinstall one of your purchased apps. Sometimes this can rectify the issue.
3. Connect the iPod to iTunes and restore it. New system software usually resolves the issue. Make sure you sync before restoring because a restore removes the data from your iPod.

I recently had a data transfer from my older mac to my newer one. After the transfer I logged into my new account and opened up my GarageBand. It worked perfectly fine, however when I logged into my old account with all my older data that I just transferred over, I could not open my GarageBand files and there is an error that states "GarageBand error after data transfer that states "This song requires a newer version of GarageBand. Please update to the latest version of GarageBand before opening this song".If anyone could please help me with this issue, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank You!
When you transferred your data from your old mac, you may have accidentally transferred an older GarageBand version and either overwritten your newer version, or your old account still has the old GarageBand icon in the Dock.
Search with SpotLight, if you have more than one Garageband version on your new Mac (type "GarageBand" into the SpotLight search field). Does it list more than one GarageBand version? Then delete the older GarageBand.app.
What GarageBand version have you been using at your old mac, and what is the version on your new mac? If it has been bought recently, it should have come with GarageBand '11.

This is a copy of ONEof the keys in the registry I changed as told by Apple support today. I also have changed others as instructed by GEAR software support to manually delete GEAR drivers (that I had installed but couldn't delete some of the others they mentioned from Windows system 32. Then some bright spark at work told me I need the Gear drivers so I downloaded the software and installed again.
