Bookmarks are not syncing

Just install ios5, and bookmarks are not syncing

On the iPad, go to Settings; iCloud; and turn Bookmarks to Off. Then when you connect via iTunes, under Info; Other; this allows the Sync Bookmarks to be checked. Don't ask me why it doesn't work via iCloud, but this should at least fix it.

It seems lots of peolple were having issues before ML, but I as fine. Since ML, I am having all kinds of issues!

Yeah, I literally have tried everything except deleting my iCloud account (I'm close, but that would require so many changes that it is way too painful to consider at this point).
I am still waiting to hear back from Apple Support. Hopefully something can be done, or they can do a reset on their end.

Aurora 27.0a2 (2013-11-15) ModernUI - SYNC´ed bookmarks are not visible

Using ModernUI in Win 8.1 with SYNC seems to work on hand: Typing in keywords associated to URLs displays the right SYNC´ed URLs. But the bookmarks are not displayed.
In desktop mode the SYNC runs properly in all aspects.
How can I enable the visibilty of the SYNC´ed bookmarks on ModernUI?

You're using [http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/aurora/ Firefox Aurora], which is a pre-Beta build of Firefox. These builds may contain bugs that will eventually be fixed in the Beta or Release version of Firefox.
In other words, Aurora is a test build that "isn't ready for prime time".

I recently installed the new version of firefox sync on my computers (by unlinking the old version, and creating a new account), but the bookmarks are not synchronising. One of the computer turns with Windows 7 and the other with Ubuntu 14.
I created the account with the firefox on the Windows computer, and some things were well synchronized on the Linux computer (ie Addblock was installed), but the bookmarks on the Linux firefox are empty.
Could you please help me to solve this problem?

Do you have any Error Reports?
If so, open the most recent report (check the date to make sure it is from the new version of Sync). Then copy and paste the contents of that report to http://pastebin.com/ and post the URL to "your New Paste" to this forum thread so that we can review that error log.

My Contacts, Calendars are NOT syncing on a Clean Install of Lion

I did a Clean Install of Lion Yesterday and for some reason, my Contacts and Calendars are NOT syncing into my laptop.
Am I missing a setting somewhere?

I forgot to mention, the ODD thing, my bookmarks DID sync into Safari.

Yea bookmarks are not synchronizing. That's basically it. I'm tired of having to wait and hope for updates for things that should be a standard feature. I know there is a lot of magic behind a browser, but all i really need are the bookmarks i can open anywhere.

Not a problem. Come to think of it, Xmarks syncs across all browsers, but let's fix sync first. If you open the sync options on each of the devices that are set up on the new sync, please see this to verify each are on the new sync: [[How to update to the new Firefox Sync]], you can make sure "Bookmarks" are checked.
And if they are select sync now if there was a change. For debugging, it is actually not plural: 'about:sync-log' and these have to be turned on. By default however you should not have to do this and they are turned off as to not take up space, but to enable logs: in 'about:config' change the settings referred to here: [https://wiki.mozilla.org/Services/Sync/Getting_Started#Debugging_Sync]

Bookmarks are not showing up

Local bookmarks and Sync'd bookmarks are not visible. I have reinstalled Firefox, tried to import *.json file, sync'd from another computer and restored from previous date. I can see the Bookmarks Bar and i can add bookmarks to it but not old bookmarks. any help is appreciated. thanks

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox Profile Folder.

My Mac and iPad are not syncing. what am I doing wrong?

my mac mini and ipad are not syncing with the icloud. If I plug the ipad into the computer it syncs calendar info from the computer to the ipad, but not the ipad to the computer. i want it to sync without having to plug it in.

Voice memos are not syncing

I've used my iPhone 4 to sync voice memos to iTunes previously and it has worked seamlessly. My new recordings on a 5s are not syncing across. I have checked the sync voice memos box. Even within the 'on this phone' tab the recording aren't visible...just the old ones show up.
If anyone help it would be appreciated...I have tried the other methods on the forum but they dont help such as trimming files.

I found the answer, at least it worked for me.
Here ya go:
1) open the Voice Memos app on your iPhone
2) on any memo: click the little blue arrow on the right
3) Click the next arrow in the top most box this will put you in the "Label" screen
4) From the "Label" screen: click the arrow next to "Custom"
5) In the Custom screen: give the memo a name (click Done)
6) Click the left arrow (top left) to go back to your memos.
You'll see that you memo as a name. I changed mine from "4:25 PM" to "Fishcakes".
7) Sync your iPhone and you are good to go.
NOTE: If for some reason this doesn't work, go back into the same "naming" list on your Iphone voice memos app, and try one of the standard labels instead of a custom one. With one that wouldn't sync, I changed it to "Memo" and then synced it again, and then it worked.

I have temporarily solved the sync problem by using an older MBAir running snow leopard, I exported
both calendar and contacts and imported them in the MBA and synced normally.
Since I'm not about to send my data on the cloud, or setup a server to just sync my iphone,
I think this is a good workaround ! BTW I stopped updating my contacts and calendar on the MB, I only
update the iphone until a permanent solution is found !
And they better come up with one soon, because I'll just switch to an Android phone and Ubuntu linux for my MBP, Apple should make our lives easier, not harder !
I'm sure Samsung is having a ball ever since the sync issue was made public !
Hopefully Apple is listening and will make things right again !

Newly entered contacts and calendar events entered on my IPhone 5s are not syncing to google.
Facts that may be pertinent:
- I switched from the iPhone 4 to the iPhone 5s and did the easy option of having it automatically set up like my previous phone, so I did not change any part of the setup. It is possible that it stopped syncing at that time, based on which contacts have synced and which haven't.
- My gmail account is set up as Exchange, with Mail, Contacts, and Calendars set to sync.
- Server: m.google.com, Use SSl is on, S/MIME is off (I don't actually know what these are, but maybe they matter?)
- Fetch New Data / Gmail account is set to Push
- Contacts and Calendar Default Account is Gmail
- In the Contacts app under Groups I have only GMAIL checked.
I've read that Google recommends CardDAV, which I gather is not the same as Exchange?
I'm afraid to delete anything and start over, for fear of losing my contacts.
Is there a difference between the gmail account I set up and what the Contacts app calls GMAIL?
If there is anything I should communicate about how things are set up on the Google end, let me know.

Try this...
Go to the isync program on your Mac.
Go to Preferences in the main menu
Hit Reset Sync History
I'm pretty sure this is how I fixed it... so far so good.

Photos taken on my Treo 755p are not syncing to my computer.

Photos taken on my Treo 755p are not syncing to my computer, while the rest of the sync process performs flawlessly. The photos used to transfer to the 'Palm' folder under 'My Pictures' on Windows XP. The transfer used to occur with no problem...but I'm currently not having any luck. I went so far as to backup my Palm files, delete the Palm Desktop software, re-install it and then HotSync the new software with my phone. Does anyone have any tips???

you and I know that your answer works because that is how I sync my ipad. I don't have a mac, just a PC with itunes. Now this guy might not even have itunes and is using Windows Media Player or something like that.
Or maybe he just do not want his problem fixed. I read these forums and too many of the questions are just way beyond basic computer knowledge, but it seems to happen that they can never resolve a very simple problem. It makes me wonder if people just post bogus stuff.
I would like to see registration to the forums attached to the product serial number of the forum you are posting to. I bet you that the posts would drop dramatically.
