Bookmarks, but not in the .pdf sense -

When I'm working with music score source (for example) or ePub chapters in gVIM, I've become used to setting bookmarks so I can whiz up and down the file. Handy when (for example) I want to compare two variants of the same bar or phrase. Today's tasks include bringing some order and clarity into an inherited document, where (for example) I'd like to be able to skip between the three widely separated references to the device power supply.
So the question (after all the brackets and examples) is, does FM have a secret weapon for this? I don't recall ever coming across one, but would welcome finding out I've just been inattentive or observant.

The page numbers in "Paragraphs: Pages ##-##" above the scrolling target list box indicate the page number of the first and last item in the visible section of the list; the numbers change when the list is scrolled. It's so obvious that I overlooked it for years!

The scroll function on my mousepad is disabled when viewing a pdf file in firefox version 5.0. The scroll works on the pdf, but not on the other tabs. When the pdf is closed, the scroll function returns to normal. Any ideas?!

Hey thanx for the help, it worked like a charm.
I think firefox changed the application lay out, as I used to be able to choose my PDF opener from the list at " Adobe Acrobat Forms Document' where I could choose Nitro-PDF reader, but it has now moved all the way to the bottom like you suggested to the obvious place of "Portable Document Format" section.
If someone didn't tell me , I wouldn't have scrolled all the way down to be able to find it... it really should be with all its cousins up the top...

What kind of problems did you get after installing the extension?
You can try to remove the history manually in the History Manager by doing a search for a colon.
How many history items do you have to remove?
If you only want to do this once or occasionally then you can consider to use this code:

Is there any way to have an ipad wifi 3G but not use the 3G (therefore avoiding the extra data plan costs) and just use the wifi?

i am looking to buy an ipad 2 or the new ipad (preferably 32gb) but dont want to buy the 3G version as i have unlimited data usage in my mobile phone plan, i know the wifi only ipad is generally cheaper, but i was wondering if there was a way to buy the ipad with 3G capabilities but not use the 3G and avoid the cost of paying the extra unnecessary data plan? When I print data for one month, data appears in both the Preview tree and the Preview display. When I print the data for another month, the data does show in the Preview tree but not in the Preview display.
Forgetting the tables the report is pulling from, forgetting which month is which, etc., why (in any case) would Crystal show data in the Preview tree but not show that same data in the Preview display? That makes no sense. I wish I could just take my mouse and just drag the tree onto the displayu2026..
I have nothing suppressed. This is Crystal 9.

I encounter this in CR XI once in a while. What I found from my research, if I have a group and then I have certain conditions to either display or eliminate the data selected for whatever reason then the group tree will show the group and since the data is eliminated by either the select criteria or another way there is no data displayed.
Try this. In the second month where you see the data in the tree but on the report, see if you can narrow it down further by day and see if you can find the reason why.

Adding an image when signing, but not in the signature field, in Reader

Hi,
I would like to know if it is possible to add an image to a pdf document when I sign the document in Reader.
I do not want to add the image in the signature field as a signature, but rather below the signature field. The image is 'n barcode providing me with more information on the signature.
I have looked at the Stamper example, but this functionality is not avialable in Reader.

If you insert after signing you will break the signature!! You need to do any such stamping BEFORE signing.

The Adobe Reader toolbar appear if you hover the mouse in a PDF being viewed in Safari.
The link you need to right click on is NOT in the PDF itself. It is on the page BEFORE, the one where you click to view the PDF. Does not always work.

Ios 6 is not available for all iphones. Original Iphone and iphone 3 are not supported.

This is common for most any device/computer. Not all iphone/computer/device models can handle all of the new features. Like any device, hardware is limited and cannot always support all new features and software.
