Bookmarks disappeared after updating

My bookmarks disappeared after updating firefox on my android phone. How can I recover them?

Did you have a sync account attached to the mobile device?
A third party back up may be required to restore the profile.

Bookmark disappears after update

When I update my blog, the bookmark in Firefox disappears. When I bookmark it again, after the update, instead of my blog popping up, there's a window for Nextag. This does not happen in Safari. Is this an evil conspiracy between Nextag & Firefox? Do they seek total world domination, or am I simply doing something wrong?
I'm using iWeb & Fetch.

Few of my bookmarks are available after I updated, and the tips on restoring them do not work.

.AI Icons disappeared after update to 10.6.6

Hi,
My .AI preview Icons disappeared after update to 10.6.6, they do show in Quicklook, but not in the folders. They are now just show the standard AI icons.
My other Imac's dont have this problem.

Remove Sophos Antivirus

Don't forget to use Sophos' deinstall package: /Macintosh HD/Library/Sophos Anti-Virus/Remove Sophos Anti-Virus.pkg
Nevertheless, some settings have been re-initialized (no complete list!):
- Dock
- Language has been reset to English only
- Expose & Spaces
(- probably all personal settings?)

The playlists I created have disappeared after updating to iOS 7.1. I have not backed up this phone to a computer - only backing up with iCloud. Is there a way to recover my playlists?

Dictation in text message = Does not work
Speaking with Siri via activated with Home button = Does not work

Voice Memos = WORKS
Speaker phone on call = WORKS

I've tried hard reset, settings reset, wiping and reloading backup...nothing. Was hoping 7.1 might offer some respite, but no dice....
I was hoping 7.1 would somehow solve it.

Apps don't disappear after updating

My updated apps don't disappear after updating concludes on my iPad. I noticed that this only started happening after installation of iOS7.

Just so you know, the reason this was changed for iOS 7 was in conjunction with the Automatic Update feature that was also introduced with iOS 7. If updates to apps are being done automatically, then you would have no way to know what apps were updated or when. This new list in the Updates tab was added to provide the update history information.

Have you restored from backup?

Text in purchased book disappeared after update

I just updated my iPad to 5.1.1 and iBooks to 2.1.1. After updating and synching to my iMac, I opened a book that I had purchased one month ago and had been reading. All the text had disappeared. I had nothing but blank pages except for the title page and the table of contents. I went to purchased to try to download it again but the "purchased" tab was grayed out. I couldn't find a way to activate it. I tried resetting by holding in the sleep and on/off buttons for 10 - 15 seconds but it didn't change anything. I tried re-synching with my iMac -- my books are backed up on it -- but that didn't restore the text either. Can anyone help?

Did you delete the book before you tried to download it again?
In bookshelf view - tap the edit button - tap on the book and then tap delete. In list view - swipe across the book and the red dlete button will opo up.
Perhaps quitting iBooks completely and restarting the iPad would help as well.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

I have same issue. I have done the checklist from iMore website -- all techniques do not work. I followed the steps, but the "remove and sync" does not appear. I also did "restore from backup"; still did not work. The ringtones were NOT restored on my iPhone 6 (iOS 8.1.1).
Apple will have to do another update to fix this issue and refund the purchase.

All my camera photos was disappear after update Album app

After updated Album app version 5.4.A.0.20 from update center, all photos which took by Xperia Z1 was disappear! only left photo which transfer from old phone and edited photo. i had restart my Z1 and still the same. by the way, my camera is directly save into SD card. anybody know how to recover it?

You could try going to Settings - Apps then swipe to All and look for the Album app then open it and tap on Clear cache and reboot your phone - Do not tap on Clear data - or you could try deleting the .Thumbnail folder which may be hidden but using an app like a file explorer and choosing show hidden files will show the folder then it's a case of deleting and again rebooting your phone

Covers of buyed music disappears after update software

A lot of covers of my buyed songs disappears after I updated iphone software to iSO 8 and I can recover it.
Can anybody help me?

I've had the same problem and i posted about it a few hours ago. What i did was just restore my iPhone which was pretty a pain in the ***. if that doesn't work, then try deleting purchases from your iPhone and download it again through you iPhone on the purchased section of iTunes.

after updating to 4.3.3 iPhone4, all my apps disappeared on my phone...nd it turns white when i tried to sync (can't click sync apps, but music, pics or vids are working)

Check the Mac's startup disk just in case. Launch Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions). If the startup disk needs repairing, follow the instructions for Using Disk Utility to Verify or Repair Disks

IPhone 4 apps disappear after updating to iOS 5

Two people, one of them my sister, has reported that after updating to iOS 5 some of her apps have disappeared from the phone. I had not such thing other than iOS 5 loading all of the ones in my iTunes. Just wondering if this is happening to others too.

I too spoke to Apple in their store. They also told me it was a unique problem. They said that if it was encrypted and I didn't have the password I would have to start again "/ I have been able to get my contacts, music and apps back but the messages and pictures/videos appear to have gone forever. The advisor told me that the pictures shouldn't even be encrypted and should appear in 'iPod Photo Cache' but that folder hasn't been updated since March! I'm just relieved to have gotten my phone out of configuration mode lol!

iam using iphone 4s and after i updated to ios 7 all the contacts has disappear, even if i restore them from the back up or wrote them again the same thing happen always after i period of time.
i had read some topics about the same problem that happened after updating to IOS 5 and 6 but all the solutions didn't worked with my iphone, please i need your help !

I am having same problem and if you loose 450 contacts its maddening enough to consider changing to another platform.
In my case iPhone 4S - problems started after iOS7 update - on the computer all contacts appear under header iCloud (there is no longer an option of "On my Mac" that I seem to remember from earlier times).
My phone cannot access the numbers, do not seem to maintain them on the phone solidly...
Any suggestions?
