Bookmarks not showing up in Printed Documentation

Hello all. I'm evaluating Robohelp 7 and all seems to be
working ok except for printing the documentation to PDF, (or word
for that matter) but that isn't so much of a concern at this point.
When I get to the second screen of the wizard to organize the
chapter layout and choose to do this from the TOC, some of my
bookmarks do not show but some do. I can't see what a difference to
determine why some do and some do not show up there.
Anyone have any suggestions. I would be grateful!

Sorry for the confusion what I meant is of the bookmarks that
aren't showing up some of them have spaces (not actual spaces), and
some have none.
Upon looking further at the TOC I did notice a difference in
the bookmarks that are showing up and the ones that are not. The
ones that are showing have a # symbol rather than the underscore. I
tried changing one of the ones that isn't showing but it didn't do
anything.

Is it an Airprint-compatible printer, and is its WiFi enabled if it is? (see: About AirPrint)
If it isn't an Airprint supported printer, then you need a 3rd party driver on your iMac to print from an iPhone. Such as Printopia. As it worked in the past you probably have such a printer driver installed; check and see if it's running.
Beyond that try restarting the printer, restarting the phone, restarting your router, and restarting your computer.

HP-photosmart 6280 all-in-one with osx 10.9 now does not show options for printing photos from the photo tray.

Newly added printer is not showing up in printer list in Acrobat 11.0.3

Hello,
We are using Acrobat Pro 11.0.3. We recently added a new printer and that printer does not show up for one user of the machine in Acrobat. It shows up in other applications and under Printers. Other users who log into the machine can see the printer in Acrobat. I have uninstalled Acrobat, rebooted, reinstalled. I have also removed referenced to Adobe under HKEY_CURRENT_USER as well as APPDATA to no avail. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Bonjour printer not showing up in Printer List

I am having trouble adding a bonjour printer (HP PSC 1610). The printer is not showing up in the list of printers under System Preferences > Print & Fax. I was able to add the printer by clicking on the "+" sign. It found the bonjour printer and I clicked "Add." Everything seemed fine, but the printer is not showing up in the list of available printers.
When I'm in Printer Setup Utility, the Printer shows up when I click View > Show Printer List. I just can't select it when I'm in an application and trying to print.
I can print to the printer from my G5 which still has OS 10.3.9.

I think the reason you haven't got responses is that no one has experience with that. Here are some generic troubleshooting steps to try, one at a time:
Repair permissions (Disk Utility).
Delete Print Prefs - search for (File>Find) files that start with com.apple.print and delete them all and reboot.
Reset Printing System (new in Tiger) - In Printer Setup, click this menu item found just above Quit Printer Setup.
If there is a downloadable Combination Updater from Apple, use it to re-Update OS X.
Try Printer Setup Repair from www.fixamac.net.
Use a Disk Utility like Disk Warrior to repair the HD.

HP C3180 will not show up on printer list or set up assistant??

When I try to add my new HP C3180 all in one printer, it will not show up on the printer list, or in HP set up assistant, and searches for new drivers fails to bring up any printers. My G4 does not seem to recognize the C3180 printer. Looked for updates to software and there are none. HP says I have the latest software. Uninstalled, and reinstalled HP software several times, still will not show up on the add printer list so I am not able to configure it. Previous Deskjet 970CXI printer is also missing which is OK if C3180 would show up. Anyone with any ideas? Thanks.

If you are unable to print wirelessly, the comments below enabled me to print via my Airport Extreme. Just go to the "Print & Fax" system preferences, and 'add' a printer, then follow these instructions:
-You can print using bonjour in a roundabout way. Wireless printing will work if you select "hp photosmart p1000 g-print beta" in the printer browser under the "print using" option in the print and fax control panel. If you choose this option, the computer will think it's hooked up to a p1000. So it will work with airport express!
This advice was in the customer reviews section of the Apple Store for this printer, where a lot of people were complaining that they couldn't print wirelessly.

Server Admin not showing jobs in print queue

Hi All,
I'm not sure if others are having this problem or if it's just me. I am running Mac Server OS X 10.6.7 When I go to Server Admin and select "Print" and then "Job Status", I get a list of all the server's print queues. In the pane below the list of queues, there is a section that says "Jobs on Queue:" which then allows me to select any specific print queue. The problem is, no matter what queue I select, I am never able to see any of the print jobs going through the queue. I have sent multiple jobs to different printers on the server, all while watching the "Jobs on Queue" window for the appropriate printer. In every test, I have never seen ANY print job show up in that window, even though all the print jobs print out fine. I have even tried pausing a printer to let jobs queue up, and still nothing shows up in that window.
I have also tried the same tests while viewing the prints queues from the "Print & Fax" System Preferences pannel directly on the server. Still no luck. Everything prints out fine, but I am unable to ever see any print job hitting the queue.
The reason I even noticed this problem is because a user accidentally printed a 500 page document by mistake. The user called me to stop the job, but I was unable to see anything in the queue to kill. I tried deleting the job directly from the printer, but this just caused the printer to lock up. I would try powering off the printer and restarting it, but as soon as it powered back on, the print job would restart. I even tried restarting the server, but as soon as the server came back online, the print job started again. Finally, after hunting on the web, I tried logging into CUPS via http://localhost:631 and was able to see the print job listed there and finally delete it.
Is there any way to monitor print jobs on the server in real time? I found this previous archived thread describing what appears to the same problems using Mac Server OS X10.5.8, but there was never any solution listed before the thread was archived.

When I click the box "More Printers" under the Default printer the drop down box gives me a heading "Canon IPv6 (UFRII) with the option to add or cancel. (The add is highlighted). But there are no printers showing in the box. Nothing. Can anyone help?

[SOLVED] Printer not showing up in print options but working (CUPS)

I am using Lexmark X1270 and have got it working via CUPS web interface (printed test page and all), but even after restarting CUPS daemon and rebooting, it does not show up in File > Print in any apps like Firefox, Openoffice, etc. All I see in the print is "Print to file," no printer shows up.

Colors not showing up and print doubleing and blurry

Some sites colors do not show as they should,in black and white.Print is superimposed over each other and blurry.I never had this problem till I down loaded firefox 4.

Go to Image>Mode and make sure you color is RGB, not gray scale. Also, a preference reset might help: Ctrl/Cmd+Alt/Opt+Shift as you initiate Photoshop startup.

Restored bookmarks not showing up on menu

My bookmarks suddenly got erased by themselves and i could no longer add any bookmarks, i reinstalled firefox and connected it to my sync but the bookmarks do not show up. I have tried manually restoring them from a json file and nothing shows up. I have tried it using firefox 17, 17.0.1 and 16.0.2 Any ideas?

Are you using Firefox Sync or another extension to sync bookmarks?

Driver not showing up in printer menu

My Epson StylusPro3800 just stopped communicating with all of the Macs on my network. I receive a cryptic "communications error" message when I try to print to it.
I rebooted the Mac and tried again. Same result. I tried another Mac on the network, same result. I swapped ethernet cables and the port in my switch the cable to the printer is plugged into, to see if it was a cable or port problem. Same result. (All the other devices going through the switch are communicating with no problem.)
I deleted the printer from the Printer & Fax preferences file. However, after I reinstalled the driver software, when I went to the Add new printer dialog box, the Epson printer does not show up under the AppleTalk menu as it used to. The other printer on my network does show up.
What do I do now?

As for your computer (the one in which you re-installed the print driver), you might consider checking the hard disk just in case a file might be corrupt. To do that, boot your computer with the OS Install disk holding down the "c" key. Choose your language.
Go to the Utilities menu and select Disk Utilities.
In the left pane, click on your hard disk. On the right pane, click the First Aid tab and below, click the button Repair Disk. (If it finds any errors it will attempt to fix and rerun the test.)
Afterwards, click the Repair Disk Permissions.
Reboot your computer.
When I try Default, two Adobe PDF printers show up as well as the AppleTalk Ricoh and a Bonjour Ricoh. No Epson printer shows up.
Consider checking the network settings on the printer itself. See FAQ at

You might also consider setting the printer up as with an IP address. (See the Network or User Guides that you received with the printer or the Epson website.)
FYI: I used to have an Epson 3000 and now have an Epson 3880 and find IP with LPD protocol faster than AppleTalk.

Printer not showing up in Printing Pane

I'm trying to print to a printer on the network. I've set the printer up in the Printer Setup Utility. I can see the printer in the utility. When I go in to any program and print, it doesn't show up in the drop down box in the printing window.
I've done everything that Apple suggests to do on their printer troubleshoot page. I've ran a disk permissions check.
Is there anything I can do besides reinstalling the OS again?

You don't say if you installed after downloading the Printer you deleted, but I suspect it's one not showing, and that you need to reinstall.

Cut mark not showing up on printed page

I added print marks to my document, however when I print the document it does not show on the page. This makes it difficult to determine how much to cut off the page. Please help. Thanks
