Bookmarks were lost when resetting to default to try to solve multiple problems. Any way to retrieve all of them, including older ones?

I have tried many suggestions found online but none seem to work. I have many bookmarks, some years old.

I notice that your system details list shows three Flash Player plugins

You should remove the older versions and only keep the latest Flash player.
You can find the Flash plugin files (NPSWF32_11_X_XXX_XXX.dll) in this folder:

I have been making a route for my next mountaineering trip using the red pins on the map app! i have like 20 bookmarks. I could see all the bookmarks at once and it was so nice. but after I searched another place all the bookmarks dissapeared. now i can see only one of the bookmarks at a time! is there any way to see all of them together again ?! please someone help I put so much affort to find the correct route...

Is there any way I can simply list everything at once?
The best workaround I'm aware of comes courtesy of BMan1854: Create a Smart Playlist that will Match the following rule: Date Added is after 01/01/2001 (or whatever the day before the day that you first started your iTunes Library is). That playlist will show your entire library.
Or is there a way so that when I add new podcasts it will get rid of the old ones automatically?
Have you gone to the iTunes Edit menu > Preferences > Podcasts tab and checked out the various options listed in the Keep drop-down menu.

Since a FF8 update, all bookmarks were lost and none of the recommended restore methods work, even though I have been able to find the backup ".json" files; I continually get "Unable to process the backup file" for all methods of importing or restoring the bookmarks from the .json files. As others note, I can also no longer add any new bookmarks to my now empty bookmarks tab. My profile has not changed, so that's not the problem. This is really a pain.

Did you try to delete the file places.sqlite to make Firefox rebuild the places.sqlite database file from a JSON backup?

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

Essentially, you reset preferences like the way that you had brightness set, your home screen layout, WiFi settings, sounds, alerts, that type of thing. It will reset those things to the factory settings - just like it was out of the box.

To see if there are any backups of your device on the computer, go to iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Devices.
Moving the mouse over the listed backups will tell you to which device they belong.
If there is no backup of your phone listed, your data is gone.

Was the content not synced with a computer previously? If it was, simply re-sync with that computer.
Syncing an iDevice to a new computer will do exactly what you describe above as this is not the way to move content to a new computer.

The other day i deleted my email accounts off of my ipod and only reloaded a few of them. today i looked at my notes to look at a project i had typed on my notes because i didnt have paper and pen around to write it and i didnt want to froget. What I did was to put in the same name for Album Artist in every track. That seemed to do the trick (previously all those fields were empty). It seems like a lot of work for a simple thing.
iTunes knows (or should know) that these tracks were imported from one CD. So why is it relying on incomplete data from the gracenote database?
