If so, I'm planning on getting a group of the SeaFlex User Group developers together for a Flex Bug Bash.

Yeah, let’s stick with the commenting in the bug right now. Long-term we can take a look into allowing actual assignment via some sort of automatic system. Short-term maybe leave the comment, and then if you want, maybe the organizer of the squash event can post to the forums the list of bugs they want reserved and we can assign them in bulk to the organizer?
Don’t forget that in order to have your patches submitted we’ll need the contributor agreement. You can ask attendees to submit in advance or you could maybe bring printouts of page 2 (since that’s the signature page for most folks) and have them sign and then you could scan and email them to us in bulk. Or the organizer (or delegate) could even hog all the glory and submit for everyone? Or finally, folks can do the work and have it ready, then just wait for us to get their contrib agreement approved and do the actual submission later.
Don’t forget that the email address on the agreement needs to match with the email address we have for you in JIRA.

I think the current way to do this is to just comment that you are working on this issue/bug/feature. It'd be really nice if the "Community Candidate" bugs could be assigned to members of the community.

Removing book from Adobe Content Server

I would like to remove book from Adobe Content Server. I used answers from that thread http://forums.adobe.com/thread/621994 .I successfully removed book from distributor inventory but can not remove it from operator (built-in distributor) inventory. I got this error:

Finally, I found a way to remove book from adobe content server. This article Public Knowledge Base helped me a lot.
So, in order to remove book from acs you need to make 4 requests:
- request to admin/ManageDistributionRights with distributor ID
- request to admin/ManageDistributionRights built-in distributor ID
- request to admin/ManageResourceItem
- request to admin/ManageResourceKey
This is how my requests look like:

Value of "resourceItem" tag is important. Actually I didn't find description in documentation what this tag means. I found that this is optional resource item index and that default value is 1. But when I send delete request with 1 in <resourceItem> the last request, which remove resource key, return error. If you know what this tag mean please answer in this thread.

Issue on copyng an e-book from adobe digital editions 2.0 to my pocket book

The issue is the impossibility to copy an e-book from adobe digital editions 2.0 to my pocket book. In particular, it appears a pop-up with an attention signal in which is written "impossible to write the destination file". How could I solve that issue?

Modern kobo books should just use regular Adobe DRM and be readable on compatible ereaders that are authorized to the correct Adobe ID.

When Adobe DRM book information say 'no copying', that generally means no copying outside those Adobe DRM limitations.
You should be able to copy within the restrictions. You can double-check that with the sellers (Kobo).

the pocket book is Adobe DRM compatible?
that you have authorized your pocket book with your current Adobe ID?
menu/Help/Authorize Device when plugged into ADE: Library/Authorize Device if using the older more reliable ADE 1.7.2
If the pocket book is already authorized but to a different ID, you will need to deauthorize it first, ctrl-shift-E to ADE with device plugged in (or cmd-shift-E on Mac).
Be aware that will lose the ability to read DRM books authorized with the previous ID.

1) Select Documents, and click the Edit button. 2) Click the PDF(s) you want to delete. 3) Click the trash can icon, and confirm the deletion.

Can't load the book from Adobe to my Pandigital

I downloaded the book to my adobe account. I plug in my Pandigital and drag the book to the ereader. On the computer, I can open the book from the ereader icon. When I unplug and open my ereader, the book is not there. Am I missing a step. Sorry if this is redundant but I am a new user.

It's hard to answer you without more information.
First, you say you drag the book to the ereader, but we need to know if you
use ADE to do this. If so, then the Pandigital ereader is authorized and is
showing up in the bookshelf side of the Library screen of ADE (the left hand
side) and you have gone through all the steps you need to go through -
except for closing out (see below). Be aware, though, that, if you have not
registered your Pandigital device with Pandigital, that could be the
problem...
Next, presuming that ADE and your Pandigital are working together, you
should be closing ADE before you try to unplug your Pandigital, giving it
time to synchronize the new information before you're going to see the
book.... And you need to make sure that you detach it logically from your
PC (another assumption) via the Eject function or the Safely Remove Hardware
function or Windows may cause problems.
I can give you details of the steps in the middle if you need them.

I did finally get my books moved onto my Sony Digital Reader. I moved the folder over rather than trying to move the individal books over. By moving the folder I got the books into the Sony Library on my PC and then I could transfer them to my Reader. Maybe not the most original way to do it - but it worked for me!

Is anyone else having problems with books from Lulu?

I am working on a Mac and recently downloaded Adobe Digital Editions. I have a book from Google and a free book from Adobe, both are fine. But I recently purchased two books from Lulu, an ePub for Digital Editions and a PDF for Digital Editions. When I try to download them I receive the .acsm file, but when I click on it, I get an error message in ADE of:
Error getting license
Server communication problem: E_ADEPT_IO
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software. I tried the chat support but was not able to fix my problem. The attempted solutions were to check my clock settings (automatic and correct), download Google Chrome (ugh, my third browser, really?) and then turn off the firewall and ensure the proxy settings are set to bypass for http://adeactivate.adobe.com/. Still not successful. I keep getting the same error message. Has anyone else successfully fixed this error? Haha, old school books are looking better and better right now.

First, the error message isn't described very well - and shame on Adobe for
that. If I understand it correctly, it's telling you that you can't
establish a connection with your ebook source because of security issues.
Monkeying around with ADE software isn't going to help at all, as you've
found out. Cross your fingers that something inside ADE hasn't gone awry
with all of the installs you've done.
You're in a MAC world, and I'm still a Windows guy, so I can speak only
generically about what's going on. No - you don't need a new browser.
It's probably not a clock issue either, because that's a different cryptic
error message. So, we're back to the security settings. Something isn't
right - but not being a MAC guy, I don't know what knobs to tweak.

OK I downloaded Adobe Digital Editions onto my Mac and then bought a book (or a few) from eBook stores.
Then I downloaded OverDrive onto my iPhone.
So how do I get the books from Adobe Digital onto OverDrive?
I can seem to drag into iStore as they are in a format .acxm and there is no synching facility between Adobe Digital and OverDrive

I'd suggest using Bluefire Reader instead. (You could then transfer the ePubs into Bluefire Reader using iTunes).

Welcome to the Club! Got the same Problem and had a really hard time reaching the Customer Support because they were down due to maitenance! Just wrote to their experts chat and hope to get an answer in this life!
I tried to authorize my Computer and eBookreader with a new Adobe-ID, but it says I've done used this ID too often, even though it was brandnew! Can't copy my just-purchased eBook because "Copying is not allowed".
I hold my thumbs for you that Adobe solves this Problem fast enough. Other ways I'll sell my eBookreader and buy the Kindle-Reader from Amazon and say GOOD BYE to Adobe!
