Books In iTunes

I admire the technology in iPods and iTunes, but I am a good deal frustrated on one issue, and I am hoping someone in development will take a look at this request and consider it for the future.
Here is an example of how I work with importing books on CDs into iTunes.
1 - After purchasing the book on CD, I rip the tracks to folders on my PC. For example, let's say that I have a book called My Book and let's say that there are seven CDs to this set. I will create the following folders on my PC: MB01, MB02, MB03, MB04, MB05, MB06, and MB07. Then I will rip disk #1 into MB01, disk #2 into MB02, and so forth.
2 - Once I have all of the disks ripped to my PC and into the designated folders, I then open iTunes and create seven playlists, matching the folders that are on my PC, i.e., MB01, MB02, MB03, MB04, MB05, MB06, and MB07.
3 - Next I import the MB01 folder that is on my PC into iTunes. Now, let's assume that there are four tracks within the MB01 folder on my PC. That would mean that, within my iTunes folder, I now see Track No01, TrackNo 02, Track No03, and Track No04. Each one of these have a check in their check box. I highlight each track with a check box and drag them into the MB01 playlist.
4 - I then UNcheck the check boxes.
Now it becomes tricky...
5 - I now import the MB02 folder that is on my PC into iTunes. Again, let's assume that there are four tracks within the MB01 folder on my PC. That would mean that, within my iTunes Library, I now see Track No01, Track No1, Track No 02, Track No 02, Track No03, Track No03, Track No04, and Track No04. This is to say, that now there are TWO of each. BUT, because I had UNcheck the previous tracks in step #4 above, only the new tracks have a check in their check box. I highlight each track with a check box and drag them into the MB02 playlist.
Hopefully, at this point, you can see how things are becoming very confusing and will become more confusing, still, as more and more disks are added to the library.
SO...this is my request to the developers of iTunes. I would GREATLY appreciate it, if I would be able to at some point in the development of iTunes (hopefully soon) be able to "Add a folder" and have that folder already as a Playlist. For example, if I add MB01 as described above, I don't want to have to go through what I just described above, I would like the folder, i.e., MB01 as a playlist with the tracks already there.
I hope this all makes sense. If not, I would greatly appreciate opening up a dialogue with the developers of iTunes.
I sincerely appreciate you and anyone taking the time to read my post.
Best Regards,
Craig
