Books Online hyperlinks not active

Hi. New user. Intalled 2008 R2 Express with AS successfully, but the BOOKS ONLINE feature I downloaded after the express install doesn't seem to be working. I can view the entire feature, but none of the hyperlinks to drill down to details
are activated. Can someone help with this? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

According to your description, I downloaded the SQL Server 2008R2 Books Online from
Microsoft Download Center
and installed it on my computer, everything worked well. All the hyperlinks in the BOOK ONLINE are active, and I can read contents via clicking the hyperlinks.
Could you please check that if your system meets the prerequisites of installing SQL Server 2008 R2 Books Online following this link:

Please note that you cannot have side-by-side installations of Books Online on the same machine. If you have installed other versions of Books Online on your computer, please try to uninstall them , then reinstall SQL Server 2008 R2 Books Online.

Send to iDVD hyperlinks not active

I'm trying to make my hyperlinks active so someone can put my DVD into their computer and click around. When I send to iDVD and then preview it in iDVD, my hyperlinks are not active. Is there something I'm missing?

No, Keynote doesn't have the ability to author content such that it will create a DVD with hyperlinks. The export for DVD is just to send the video of a linear presentation.

Part of the images of the links are in the footer area, covering the links, except fot the tiny top part.
Do Command-Shift-L to see the outline of the page.
Then increase the height of the content layer.
To see it more clearly, set the footer height to 0 (zero).

NOOK Simple Touch says "Error Dialog: user not activated" whenever I try to open e-books?

I have had my Nook Simple Touch for about a year now, and I have been using Adobe Digital Editions without a problem. Now, all of the sudden, Barnes and Noble updated my software and I can't read any of my ADE books!! It just says "Error Dialog: User not activated" every time I click on them. I have looked at many other websites and I have tried plugging my nook in to my computer and reauthorizing it, reauthorizing my computer, deleting the digital editions file and .adobe-digital-editions file, redownloading my books, turning my nook off and on, crying, and screaming. The weird thing is, in all the instructions, it says a pop-up box will come up when I delete the files, but it never does. Is that normal? I always have to do it manually by clicking on the gear. I even made sure I "unhid" all the hidden files. I HAVE DONE EACH OF THESE AT LEAST 5 TIMES AND THEY NEVER WORK!!! HELP ME, PLEASE.
Also, a lot of the websites say to make sure your Barnes and Noble ADE I.D. is the same as the one on your ADE computer I.D.. Is the B&N ADE I.D. different from just the Barnes and Noble ID? Becasue I have been using my sisters email for my computer ADE and my email for the B&N I.D.. Are they supposed to be the same? If so, how come I was able to use it without a problem before?? I tried reauthorizing ADE with my email, because I also have an ADE account with my email, but then it wouldn't let me redownload my books onto the new account. Does this mean I have to change the ADE computer I.D. and wait until my books are available again to read them? Is that the way to fix it? UGH!

P.S. I have ADE version 2.0

Just to clarify, there are two levels of Authorization -- one for the ADE software and one for the nook. You have to use your Adobe account to authorize both (and they have to be authorized with the same user name). It sounded like your original problem (Kcoline) was with the Nook authorization, and it was the same problem the rest of us were having.
To get your files back, I suggest carefully reading over the "Activation and Authorization" section of the ADE help. It appears that ADE will automatically find your files but note the "Note" in quoted text below...

If it's not finding your files, it may be because they're located in a folder different from the one that ADE is trying to use to find them.
You may also want to check the "Transferring items between computers" section, as this describes where the files should be located, and how to reimport them into your library.

Iphone activation online is not working

So heres my issue. I got the iphone 4 yesterday. Did what it said online to activate it, it said it was pending, but my iphone 4 never gave any indication it was in the process of activating nor did i recieve an email saying the process was starting.
So today even though my phone was not activated (and please note i am an iphone user, i had the 3GS, so maybe that's why its being so difficult to activate the new one), but i plugged it into itunes and synced it with all my apps and music i wanted, and then i unplugged it and tried to go online again and activate it but i get an error message saying this device could not be activated. Please call blah blah blah.
Well then i shut my phone off and turned it back on to see it says "Waiting for Activation"
And i tried calling but it didn't work.
I tried turning it off and on, but all i get is the waiting for activation thing. I even turned both my 3gs and the new phone off and just turned the new phone on, but it didn't work
I can still use my iphone 3gs for calls and texts and everything.
I'm stuck. Please, can someone out there help? If nothing works, then i figure im just going to have to go to the mall and either go to apple or at&T
on a side note, when the phone is not activated, but can be used and everything for apps and music, is the "No service" thing normal? I fear for the worst for this no service issue, cause i had no service issues with my 3gs.

I have an issue with F-58 transaction.
When i try processing an open line item of the vendor (in F-58) i get an error "1 item(s) was/were not activated due to online payment block".
Please advise as to how i can locate the issue.

Before that try transaction code MRBR. This should help you in releasing the documents.
Else
There must have been a workflow that has been developed for the removal of the payment blocks. Please check up if there is a workflow, it woould have triggered a mail in the SAP inbox to a user. This user will have to release the payment block and you should be able to make the payment. Else you would have to change the configuration and make the field editable and then you will be able to remove the payment block. Until you remove the payment block you would not be able to complete the transaction in F-58.

ITunes Producer 2.1.2 Not Showing New Book in Choose an Activity

I downloaded & installed iTunes Connect 2.1.2. I also downloaded the "BookFileImportTemplate.txt" file an the user manual, UsingiTunesProducer2.1.2_Books.pdf.
The New Book icon does not show up in the Choose An Activity window. I do not know what to do with the Book File Import Template. I am not getting answers from the user manual.
Can someone point me in the right direction for uploading books to the store using version 2.1.2?

The Inspector box for Hyperlinks was not active.
It also was not active when I attempted the same through Insert

Access books/pages which is not active

Hi,
I'm trying to access books and pages that are not active therefore when I try to use the getBookRecursive method it creates an error. The only solution I was able to do is turning TreeOptimization to false, which is not ideal in my situation where I have many pages and it will slow the application dramatically.
If anyone has another way around this please reply. Thanks.

Use the Settings app to sign out of the old Apple ID and sign in with the new one.
Settings > itûnes and App Store > tap on the old Apple ID > sign out
Then sign in with the new ID and password.
A note of caution though. All apps purchased or downloaded with the old ID will always be associated with that old ID and require the old Apple ID and password in order to be updated. The only way to avoid the need to enter the old ID and password when you update those apps is to delete the apps and download or purchase them again with the new Apple ID and password. Be sure to save you files and data somewhere other than in your apps.

If you didn't have "Find My Mac" enabled under the iCloud System Preferences pane, there's likely no way to trace your machine over the Internet.

We have noticed that some of our customer's tends to miss-type the code as there is a bit of confusion around the font of the redemption code.
Common miss-type issues found are mentioned below.
Zero(0) - letter "O" as in Oscar.
Five (5) - Letter "S" as in Sam.
Two (2) - Letter "Z" as in Zolo.
Kindly try replacing these characters and please revert to the PM.

Xbox Live cards not activated - Bought online and picked up in store

I got this as a birthday gift but when I try to activate the xbox live cards, it says they are not activated.
The order number is {removed per forum guidelines}
I've been trying for about a week now, trying every day since it says to try again later.
I don't want to return it, I just want the cards activated.

It’s awesome that you received Xbox Live cards as a birthday gift, but it would have been even more awesome had they been activated to begin with. I’m sorry to hear that we’ve caused you some frustration with this.
Regrettably, we are unable to activate these cards remotely; you would need to bring the cards back to the store along with the invoice for assistance from the store with activating or replacing the cards as needed.

You could use the free tool iStat Pro to see what changes when you connect your MBA to the display. Without doing anything the CPU pane should show a high percentage for "Idle". If the idle value is too low, launch the Activity Monitor and sort by CPU usage. There is a pane showing the different temperatures of your computer. Watch them for a few minutes after connecting the display.
