Boot fail. Invalid signature
Just turned my tv and box on and it says boot fail. Invalid signature. Can anyone suggest what I do?
Switch it off and try it again. Do this a few times if this still persists then I'm afraid dead may have a dead box.
Before phoning however try this :
Factory Reset
Switch off the Vision+ box at the mains socket
Hold down the front panel OK and down arrow buttons
Switch on the power to the Vision+ box
Allow the box to start up (about 15 seconds)
Release the OK and down arrow buttons
The Vision+ box will then contact the servers to get a new copy of its firmware
This will take around 30 minutes

Archive validation failed: Invalid Signature
Hi guys, I enounter some weird issue when submit ios application to appstore.
invalid Signature - Make sure you have signed your application with a distribution certificate, not an ad hoc certificate or a development certificate. Verify that the code signing settings in Xcode are correct at the target level (which override any values at the project level). Additionally, make sure the bundle you are uploading was built using a Release target in Xcode, not a Simulator target. If you are certain your code signing settings are correct, choose "Clean All" in Xcode, delete the "build" directory in the Finder, and rebuild your release target.
Anyone encountered this issue before? Thanks. You can ignore these warnings, these will not effect rman functionality, also to solving this you can apply Patch 8264365 ,please refer

I have been trying to download itunes_10.5.2 to a Window XP environment, but on each occasion after each section of the download I get a fail message saying something like "certificate has invalid signature".
Thanks for the reply kglad - much appreciated.
I have already tried that option (along with downloading files) as it was one of the solutions mentioned on other threads, but that also failed.
Any other ideas? -

First of all i was having trouble with Apple software update, every time i try to update, i get a invalid signature error...
the update i am trying to download is the asu 2.1.1 which is 1.99mb and my current version of asu is version 2.1.0.110
also when i try buy things off itunes i keep getting an error message saying could not get a secure connection to itunes.
it would be great help if there was an actual solution to these problemsumm apple support helper fails to actually read my email properly as you can see down below, i hope you people are better than that and will actually read what i have written lol correctly ok??? lol
it starts from the bottom lol
Subject: Del's itunes, and umm apple software update problems lol
Subject: Re: Connection; Follow-up: 54591743
ahh none of that info actually helped if you haven't noticed i have a
problem
with
iTunes for Windows could not establish a secure connection to the
iTunes Store.
also apple software updater receives error message "apple software
updater has invalid signature, and has been deleted"
everything you sent me was about installing itunes..... its already
installed
NONE of that info you sent me had any use for me.
also i noticed i get this message aswell
Error "check time and date" but its all fine its correct

also apple software updater receives error message "asu has invalid

this also might have a bit more info on my problem
describes my problem a bit more in detail >>
http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1689719&stqc=true
things i've tried:
uninstalling and re-installing both itunes and quicktime
ran the diagnostics with itunes "secure link to Itunes store failed"
then tried http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1470
everything was already done i didn't have to change any of that.
i tried this aswell:
(If you do get the "invalid signature" message, to upgrade to a higher
version of ASU that does seem to work properly, a QuickTime uninstall
followed by a standalone QT reinstall, or an iTunes uninstall/reinstall
should get you back a better version of ASU. My local copy of an iTunes
7.6.2.9 installer was one of the versions with an ASU 2.0.2.92 in the
bundle ... but on the laptop that's quite comfortable about upgrading
itself to 2.1.)
from http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7989138
i believe the problems might be related... since well i think apple
software updater cannot complete the updates therefor makes itunes
software maybe older? therefore not being able to get a secure link but
i cannot find any information on apple software updater

I need to get on this website, which only allows Firefox and Safari for Mac OSX, but since I upgraded to the latest Firefox update, this is the message I get:
Secure Connection Failed
An error occurred during a connection to teleserve.dlt.ri.gov.
Peer's certificate has an invalid signature.
(Error code: sec_error_bad_signature)
Help! The site doesn't seem to be sending the correct intermediate certificate.
You can install this VeriSign intermediate certificate that works for me.

[SOLVED] Grub 2 gives Error: Invalid Signature
Hello everyone.
I am trying to dual boot Arch and Windows 7. I am boot into Arch with no problem but when I select Windows 7; I am greeted with the 'Error: Invalid Signature' and redirects back to the Grub 2 menu.
I have googled and have tried many times, so I thought I would come to the endless supply of knowledge of the bbs.archlinux forums.
I can boot into Windows when I have it as the first boot drive in the BIOS, so I Windows is fine. It's got to be one simple step I'm missing here.
P.S. I really wasn't sure where to put this post.
I'll go ahead and list some (hopefully) useful information:

For some reason, that I do not know the answer too, the Window's bootloader was on my extra harddrive /dev/sdb1 as opposed to /dev/sda1, where my Windows partion actually is. I'm not sure what I did to do that or if that is just is just how Windows works.
my /etc/grub/40_custom:
#!/bin/sh
exec tail -n +3 $0
# This file provides an easy way to add custom menu entries. Simply type the
# menu entries you want to add after this comment. Be careful not to change

menuentry "Windows 7" {
insmod ntfs
set root=(hd0,1)
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set BE4CA71B4CA6CD89
chainloader +1
I added in the
insmod ntfs
and
search --no-floppy --fs-uuid --set BE4CA71B4CA6CD89
so that it would boot from the /dev/sdb1 drive.
I found the UUID by running the command:

"Invalid signature" downloading iTunes 8.2.1
I was running iTunes 8.02 on my Toshiba laptop. After copying my iTunes files from my netbook (which is running iTunes 8.1.1 on Windows XP) to my Toshiba (Windows Vista), I could not run the older version because the itl library is a newer version. I don't want to have to recreate all my work (1200 songs, and about 20 playlists), so I tried to download the newest version, 8.2.1 onto my laptop. The first two times, I did the usual process, and it failed to install. The third time, I tried downloading manually, but after all the time downloading, I got a message that there was an "invalid signature," and it was deleting the download file.
Can anyone help? Thank you!Try this solution from Katrina :

Try going into IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab
Scroll down to the security section
Put a check in the box for "Allow software to run or install even if the signature is invalid"
SAVE the iTunesSetup.exe, it's a bad idea to run installs over the internet.
If this works, go back into IE and change that box back to being unchecked when you are through. -
when trying to install update 10.5 it says the download has invalid signature and won't install. I run XP
I'm having similar problems with 10.5. I managed to install it but when I try to run itunes it doesn't open correctly and when I view my account the screen is not presented in the correct format. When I try to search for music it finds nothing. So I ran the diagnostics option but this came back with an error ' secure link to itunes failed'. It also said that the internet connection was verified but when I went into the help option it said I wasn't connected to the internet but as you can see I was and am. I've now uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times, each time I uninstall I've followed the correct sequence as recommended:-
1. Itunes
2. Quicktime
3. Apple software update
4. Apple mobile device support
5. Bonjour
6. Apple application support
I've noticed now that 'quicktime' didn't get reinstalled, not sure if that's the problem. Also when I rebooted after the last Uninstall I received a new error message ' Applesyncnotifier.exe - unable to locate component'. I've also noticed that my CPU is running at 50% according to task manager when I've got apple loaded, but it goes down to less than 20% when it's uninstalled and even goes down to 0%. Clearly, there are a number of people with similar issues and Apple need to sort it quickly. -

I was trying to have iTunes updated to version 11.1 but It failed to download first before install, then I clicked download only and the message popped up saying "iTunes has a invalid signature". Why I keep getting this? and How can I fix it?

Verify volume failed: Invalid request.
Hi,
I've just installed Bootcamp 4.0 on my MBP, installed Windows 7 - and all was working fine.
In the past 20 minutes I tried to boot into my Bootcamp but it failed and said that it couldn't find the operating system.
I then booted back into Lion and went to disk utilities and now my Bootcamp partition gives me:
Verify volume failed: Invalid request.
Any ideas what I can do?You could also download and burn (slowly) Windows 8 ISO.
No I am not a bit-mind-reader but sometimes those Microsoft Windows Patch Tuesday do bite some systems, which is why restore check points, regular maintenance like CCleaner are handy.

ITunes won't update- invalid signature- windows 8.1
The software takes forever to perform an auto update and then fails. So I chose to use Tools>download for a manual install and it gets approximately half way then gives an error message that it has an invalid signature and auto kills the download.
help ? no one ?

Damaged Installable - "invalid signature error"
Hi,
When I export a Release build for a Flex AIR Application, I am specifying a digital signature (that I created via the Flex Builder Export Release bild wizard).
But when I try to install the .ait file, it gives me the following error:
Code:
The application could not be installed because the AIR file is damaged. Try obtaining a new AIR file from the application author.
The install log says - "invalid signature error".
Appreciate any inputs.
Thanks

I tried to download itunes again from the web several times, I also reomved using the tools the smart screen filter, somehow eventually, after 3.5 hours of trying I managed to get the computer to talk to my phone, however it would not download some of my stuff because it says it was corrupt, I think this was my message and call history because I think that is all that was missing. Apple should come up with a simple fix for this I see that I am not the only one to have encountered this issue, Steve H
