Please help me how to install mac drivers for windows7 64 bit???

You either download drivers from within Boot Camp Assistant and save to USB FAT disk, or you insert and use 10.6.x OS X DVD when in Windows and install and run the SETUP from there.

Step 4: Install the Boot Camp Drivers for Windows
After installing Windows, install Mac-specific drivers and other software for Windows using your Mac OS X installation disc.  The Mac OS X disc installs drivers to support Mac components, including AirPort,built-in iSight camera, the Apple Remote, the trackpad on a portable Mac, and thefunction keys on an Apple keyboard.
The Mac OS X disc also installs the Boot Camp control panel for Windows and theApple Boot Camp system tray item.
To install the Boot Camp drivers:
1 Eject the Windows installation disc.
2 Insert the Mac OS X disc.  If the installer doesn’t start automatically, browse the disc using Windows Explorerand double-click the setup.exe file in the Boot Camp directory.
    3 Follow the onscreen instructions.
If a message appears that says the software you’re installing has not passed Windows  Logo testing, click Continue Anyway.
Windows that appear only briefly during the installation don’t require your input.
If nothing appears to be happening, there may be a hidden window that you mustrespond to. Check the taskbar and look behind open windows.
Important: Do not click the Cancel button in any of the installer dialogs.
4 After your computer restarts, follow the instructions in the Found New Hardware  Wizard to update your software drivers (Windows XP only).
5 Follow the instructions for any other wizards that appear.
6 Check for updated Boot Camp drivers by using Apple Software Update or going to www.apple.com/support/bootcamp.
If You Have Problems Installing the Device Drivers
If it appears that the Boot Camp drivers weren’t successfully installed, try repairing them.
    To repair Boot Camp drivers:
1 Start up your computer in Windows.
2 Insert your Mac OS X installation disc.
3 If the installer doesn’t start automatically, browse the disc using Windows Explorerand double-click the setup.exe file in the Boot Camp directory.
4 Click Repair and follow the onscreen instructions.
If a message appears that says the software you’re installing has not passed Windows  Logo testing, click Continue Anyway.
If you need to reinstall specific drivers, you can install one driver at a time. For example,if your built-in iSight camera isn’t working, you can reinstall just the iSight driver.
Individual drivers are in the Drivers folder on the Mac OS X installation disc.

Will running windows with bootcamp effect my macbook pro's overall speed ?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
In some cases, there may be slowness in OS X because of the lack of free space. However, you shouldn't note this and in most of cases, performance is the same in Windows and OS X after installing Windows, more in the case of a MacBook Pro with Retina display.
The only thing you have to worry is to give Windows the necessary space. The MacBook Pro with Retina display hasn't got a lot of storage

  • Bootcamp download issue macbook pro

I am trying to download bootcamp for my macbook pro to be a ble to run league of legends and every time I download it from the apple website once I open it up from the downloads box it opens up into code right away and I'm not sure if that means that my software is outdated (according to software update I'm up to date) or what is going wrong in the process for it to open up in code..Thanks for all of the help it is much appreciated.

First, read the BootCamp Installation Guide Boot Camp - Installation and Setup Guide (Mac OS X v10.6 Snow Leopard)
    Better yet, print it.
Second, the avaiable downloads are Driver Updates (3.1 and 3.2 and 3.3) and have to be used while booted into Windows.
These are .exe files which only run in Windows.

  • Bootcamp with a Macbook Pro 5,5 and Mac OS 10.6.8 - worth it to upgrade to 10.7?

I'd like to be able to run the Windows Version of MS Word for some jobs.  Though the  compatability problems between Word for Mac and Word for Windows,  are relatively minor, they do exist and I need to be able to edit on both platforms.
I have an older Macbook Pro 5,5 (Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.6 GhZ) with 8GB RAM (not sure if I can put anymore RAM in, though I'll certainly look into that).
So with Bootcamp installed from the OS 10.6, I apparently need a copy of Windows 7 and then the Word for Windows.
    My questions are:
    1.  should I bother upgrade my current OS 10.6 to 10.7?  Would that make a huge difference have any of you found?  Or should I expect the same performance from 10.6 and 10.7?
    2.  For the Windows 7 OS -- is the "Home Premium" version sufficient?  Or is it necessary to go to "Professional" Version
    3.  Are there different versions of MS Word for Windows that I should be considering depending upon what version of the Windows 7 OS I use?
    4. I thought I'd just buy a Windows 7 disc on ebay, supposing someone would sell when they upgraded to Windows 8.  But I didn't see any.  Is it legal to resell an operating system?  Maybe not?
    5.  Just wondering if it's cheaper (and easier) in the long run to buy a really cheap Windows laptop installed with Windows 7 and office if the running both OS's from Bootcamp isn't ideal.
Thanks for any info you all can provide.

Call Applecare and ask them to send you a replacement set. The will charge you a nominal fee for shipping and handling.

  • Windows 7 x64 ult. update KB2685813 failed on bootcamp 5.1 (MacBook pro retina late 2013)

    Hey,
I have a MacBook Pro late 2013 running Windows 7 x64 ultimate with bootcamp 5.1.5640.
Windows failed to update user mode driver framework 1.11 (KB2685813) several times now.
I did even get stuck during instalation after reboot.
I dont want to risk to lose the windows.
    What can I do?
    Cheers.

Ok, where is this Intel driver? There is no such thing "program manager" so I am guessing you mean the Programs and features control panel, but on my machine that whole window is blank after a clean install. I still cannot get the USB ports to activate. Two fresh installs and several different USB sticks later and no luck.  Should I just give up and go to Windows 8.1?  I really need Windows 7 to work if at all possible. Other devices shows one USB controller without driver software so I suppose that's the culprit. There are other USB devices installed under the USB section of Device Manager, but they apparently have nothing to do with the USB ports themselves, just devices like the trackpad etc.  I've spent two hours on this so far and it's getting out of control.  Why doesn't this work with generic USB drivers?

  • Problems installing Bootcamp on my Macbook Pro i7

    Hi,
I ran the Bootcamp installation program, and then restarted my Macbook Pro Core i7, and was presented with three choices - 1. Mac OS X, 2. Windows, 3. EFI Bios. Choice 2 crashes, choice 3 runs the Windows installer, shows the progress bar, goes up to 100%, then freezes. Choice 1 also freezes. I then did a PRAM reset, and then choice 1 worked correctly. I repeated this procedure three times, but was unable to actually reach the main windows setup menu. Then finally I booted back into Mac OS X, went into Disk Utility and removed the windows partition. Unfortunately the Windows option (choice 2) still shows up if I press option and reboot the machine. So I have two problems, 1. How do I remove the Windows choice (2) while pressing option during bootup, and secondly, how I do get bootcamp to install correctly?

    hi,
    regarding the external drive question
i would ask the question in the boot camp forum.
regarding space issues on a mbp:
i solved my space problems using the "printer repair utility" and the additional delete of some files/apps like garageband including the sounds files.
maybe "Disk Inventory X" will help you getting an overview about your disk-usage.
i hope this hints offer a small first help for you.
    best regards
    fidel

  • How to install bootcamp partition on macbook pro 12 with mountain lion

macbook pro 13" mid 2010 model with mountain lion.  bootcamp assistant with not let me partition.

Then your drive is to full or has errors of some type. Those are the only reasons for boot camp to stop you from partitioning and installing Windows.

  • Bootcamp 3.1 Macbook Pro 15 Unibody Late 2008 fans working now?

I just upgraded bootcamp to 3.1 on my macbook pro 15 unibody late 2008. I ran Windows Experience Index under win7 Pro 64bit and the fans were humming loud and clear during the test which is a good sign. It runs about the same as when using 9600 in Leopard (very warm). Two finger right click is still a little sketchy, but at least I won't be using my macbook as a frying pan any time soon.

Resetting SMC could solve the problem.
Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
And you need to install more RAM, I think.

  • Right click on XP under BootCamp with new MacBook Pro not working?

Is anyone else seeing this on the new MacBook Pro? (I have the 2.53 model):
I installed WinXP via BootCamp (BC). All went well. I installed the drivers from the Leopard install disk, which seemed to have the latest everything (BC 2.1.1?).
There is a "secondary click" function under the BC control panel in Windows for the trackpad, but it doesn't work at all.
Ctrl-Click also does not work. All other clicking is fine, but it's only left clicks that are allowed.
This reminds me of my original MacBook Pro and Boot Camp beta...

Three fingers and physical click. It's the same in Vista (except Vista's LAN driver works).
Eagerly awaiting the next version of Boot Camp! It's clear it was rushed, from both this and if you insert the CD and autorun (in Vista at least) it pops up with a couple of utilities for a Macbook Air.

  • Various Issues After Update To Bootcamp 3.2 (MacBook Pro, WindowsXP)

    Hi all,
i'm experiencing various issues after i updated to Bootcamp 3.2.
I first was running Bootcamp 3.0 (everything worked just fine, except some nv4_disp.dll bluescreens). I updated to Bootcamp 3.1 and then to Bootcamp 3.2.
Everything seemed to be fine firstly, but now i noticed various issues:
    1. I can't access the Bootcamp control panel (crashes when i try to open it (applecontrolpanel.exe at Offset 0004703a)
    2. Everything USB doesn't seem to work (except external USB drives), like USB printer does not print, camera attached via USB does not import photos)
When i check the Driver-Manager i'm seeing multiple USB hubs, root hubs and host conrollers (4 root hubs, 2 openHCD usb host controller, 2 usb hubs...). When i try to configure the USB port the printer is connected to i also get an error ("not supported").
    3. When i try the extended display settings i'm getting an "NVIDIA display panel extension can't be displayed".
MacBook Pro 13inch, Windows XP MediaCenter Edition (SP3), NVIDIA GeForce 9400M.
    Thanks: Lars

Answered my own question, but want to post how I did it in case other users have the same problem.
I am assuming this issue appeared because I live in Canada. When I installed the Bootcamp 3.2 update, for some reason it changed my regional language of my system to French (Canada) - Canadian Multilingual (Apple)
To change it back I went in Windows XP to Control Panel, Regional and Language Options. Languages tab. Under Text services and input languages clicked Details.
Under settings tab changed Default Input Language from French (Canada) - Canadian Multilingual (Apple) to English (Canada) - US. Click apply.
Wait...it was working, but in the time it took me to type this it suddenly reverted and Im back to weird character mappings inspite of the language setting being changed.

  • Bootcamp/Partitioned my Macbook Pro with Windows 7, No Internet

So I ran bootcamp assistant, installed Windows 7 (Pro) and partitioned my Macbook Pro (running Mavericks), and in the first runthrough I had a few bad hard links, which was an easy fix. So I tried again, got everything installed, and when I tried to run windows on my partition, there's no way for me to connect to my wireless internet, nor does it give me any options to select from in trying to troubleshoot. I can connect just fine when running Mavericks, but cant even diagnose the problem in windows. Thanks

I'm not sure what "a few bad hard links" means. It sounds like you didn't install the drivers for the Mac hardware. Start here:
