Bootcamp windows 7 general downloading in browser not working.
Hi,
I am using windows 7 on macbook pro 13 inch, windows 7 is working fine, but when i go to browser and try to download any software which has mirror site (Like MySQL, Java website use), downloading wont get start.I have tried most of the browser like :- IE,Crome,Firebox. but still downloading is not working. To download any software current i have to login in OS X and copy it to WIN7.
Can someone help me how to get rid of this?

Lenovo is releasing official Windows 7 updates on a daily basis. I think you'll find the correct driver at this link. Obviously if it fails to work I can only speculate. Good luck.

I also have the same issue. Upgraded from Win 7 SP1 and it was a smooth upgrade. All my existing apps like Skype, Opera browser, anti-virus software, Belarc advisor worked and my Wi-Fi did not disconnect either. The main selling points of this upgrade i.e. EDGE browser and Cortona did not even work one time. I even received a weird message that my trial of EDGE is complete and I had to purchase it through Windows store. I clicked through the store and it was not there either. I went to the MS website and the download is a word document rather than a .exe file for the EDGE.
The start button cannot be left clicked, only right clicked and the search box would not take anything but air. I tried to find "windows update" link through the control panel and had to give up looking for it. IMac, Bootcamp, Windows 8.1, Fusion Drive - not working
Hey there,
as many other here I habe problems installing Windows 8.1 on my iMac (late 2013) with a 3TB Fusion Drive.
I'm playing around with that installation about 3 days or so.
Even got a problem where I couldn't delete partition and suddenly got a second logical volume group
Somehow I could fix that.
I tried to install it with the help of Threads which are already opened here but had no success.
I just want a plain Windows version, not on that SSD part of my Fusion Drive, just about 500GB of Windows
And maybe there is a chance without reinstalling Yosemite?
Hopefully you can help me through that process.

Per window private browsing not working, still sharing cookies
Firefox 21, per window private browsing not working. The cookies are still shared among private browsing windows and tabs. Even with private tab addon, still not working.
If I log into google in one tab, I am still logged in with that account in new private tabs and private windows.One more question about cookies in private browsing mode.
I don't like browse a web using usual mode 'cause I don't like tonns of sites in a history. But when I start with private mode every time I get empty set of cookies and this was not quite good for me 'cause some sites store its options needed for me. In a prev. versions of FF I solved this issue in such a way: I stored some cookies in a file and every time I started private browsing I loaded them from file. But now this method gives nothing: in cookies manager all set of "non private" cookies is shown both before importing and after importing them from a file and I need to reconfigure my sites every time I start private browsing.

I have updated my firefox to version 15.0. After this I have the effect that at some unspecified time during use many of the functions stop working. Menu's do not open, download links do not work anymore and so on. Opening new tab's or windows still works. Links on pages partly work partly not. Copy and paste does not work anymore on webpages. It takes ending the firefox process and restarting to correct the issue until it happens again. I have those effects on totally different webpages. At this time it happens every time after I start Firefox but not right away. Firefox first works for some time and then it suddenly doesn't anymore without me having done anything special

To Reset Firefox do the following:

Can you further elaborate on your concern? What exactly do you mean by "download option is not working"? Can you select the Download option? If not, can you describe it? Is it grey out? Any error message? Does this happen to all of your apps? BTW, how are you accessing the Nokia Store? Is it via the Nokia Store app or through your phone browser? If you're using the app, try to access it via phone browser to check if the same issue will occur.
If you are using the app, make sure that it is up to date. You can update it by going to store.nokia.mobi through your phone browser. You can also try to restart the phone to refresh it. Hope this helps. -
Download lightroom - download button is not working
Unfortunately my laptop was stolen and now that I have a new LPT, trying to download lightroom again. Went to the adobe website but the download button is not working. Also checked support online. It said to right click the button and select open in new window. Tried that too - no luck. Anyone have anyother advice.

The download function is not working....!! I don't use any add-ons like idm or dap,etc.... When I click on something like download a doc,pdf or any such file, the firefox just doesn't respond, and when I checked the download, i.e. cntrl+j, I don't find anything in the downloads... I am currently using Firefox 7.0.1....... Nothing is being downloaded, and I am forced to use IE8 for everything... I even tried re-installing, but doesn't help... I am using Windows 7
TonyE is correct the plugin version comes with Adobe's Reader X.
The failure in communication is two parted:
1. Reader X is not Acrobat (Mozilla Plugin Checker)

Flash player download web site not working
