Bootcamp XP wont recognize my wifi interwebz

ok i watched about 5 videos explaning detail by detail how to install bootcamp and windows xp, so therefore i did nothing wrong there, i did all that, and then when i reboot and hold the option keys the things come up i select XP and then i go into network settings...i dnt see my connection...
ive tryed about eveything i can think of and it wont find my connection :/
there shud be no need to start a new one, only to connect
and another problem, i want to install XP 2.1 because i figured that might be the problem to my internet prob but i put the .exe on a use (my psp, haha) restarted to XP then put the installer onto my desktop then i tryed to strt it up, and absolutley NOTHING happens idk what to do, it says sumthing about installing 2.1 before XP, but i thought its only logical that to install an update, u have to install XP before anything else happens
please help

Welcome to the Apple Forum.
From your post it would appear that you have installed Windows XP properly. You are also able to boot to the Windows XP Desktop. You then tried to install Boot Camp 2.1 drivers but couldn't.
Here is what you will need to do:
1. Boot Into Windows and get to the Windows XP desktop
2. Insert your Leopard Installation DVD into the disk drive. This should autoload and begin installing Boot Camp drivers version 2.0. Once installation finishes then you can reboot. Once you reboot then all your devices should work including your WiFi connection.
3. Run Apple Software Update from Windows to download and install Version 2.1 Boot Camp Drivers from there.
4. Reboot Once again and then you can go to Windows Update and get Service Pack 3 for Windows if you like.

Seanspecht, in your first post you said you were running 10.6.8 which is Snow Leopard. In your next post you mentioned Lion which is 10.7.3.
They have different Boot Camp versions.
Snow Leopard is Boot Camp 3 and has all the drivers on the install disk.
Lion is boot Camp 4 and has the drivers in the recovery disk.

i have just made the bootcamp with Win7. it does not recognize the wireless driver and the high resoltion screen.
plus every time i have set the right click of trackpad.
could any one help me in solving this issue?
is there any way to upgrade the bootcamp driver from 3.0 to 3.3 without passing through 3.1 and 3.2?

It sounds like you have not yet completed the Windows installation process by installing the Windows drivers.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Ipod touch stuck in dfu mode comp wont recognize it

hello this problem all started when i was updating ipod 4g to ios5 and my dog bumped my cord and messed up the update in the middle of the update. i had it fixed and it worked for three days, then i updated over the new wifi feature and the computer went into sleep mode in the process. plugged it in computer recognized it as a ipod but itunes said i need to restore it. in the process of restoring some error occurred and i put it into dfu mode so my computer would recognize it now my ipod is stuck in dfu mode and my computer and itunes wont recognize it it just says it is a unrecognized usb device. any suggestions would be real nice so i wouldn't have a $300 paper weight

ok got it fixed it needed to be shut down when i plugged into the computer for the itunes to recognize it my ipod kept on restarting as soon as it shut down thank you for the help

Alright, Im not an idiot and I read every post related to this subject. I reviewed each of the following links and did everything they told me to do:

I recently upgraded to the newest iTunes version and now my older Ipod is no longer recognized by my computer. iTunes doesnt open, it just gives me an error message in the bottom right corner saying Unknown Device. Ive tried looking for / updating drivers, reseting, everything and nothing works. I tried every USB port on my laptop as well. Running Win XP. Can anyone offer any other suggestions on how i can fix this???

Its been working perfectly for 4 years until last week. I have the USB/FireWire combo for hooking it up to my computer. It worked with all the older version of iTunes and now that 7.1.1 is on there, it wont recognize it at all. The computer is convinced there are no drivers for the "unknown device" and all searches performed for the missing drivers come up empty. The computer cannot see the iPod as an iPod, and none of this happened until I downloaded the most recent iTunes.

Windows Wont Recognize

I'm updating my Dads iPod for him and for the first time ever, Windows/iTunes wont recognize it.
On the iPods display screen it says do not dissconnect so its not my USB ports nor the cable. Any ideas?

Same problem. I can see the itunes store so not a problem with windows firewall. The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

While you're in itunes, with the leftside window open, click on Apps. Then, look across the top middle of your itunes screen. You will see several choices: All, Iphone/iPad Touch, Ipad, Ipod Games, List, and Updates.
Clicking on each of these gives you a different view.
When you select ALL you will see all of your apps. When you select Updates you sill see only the apps that need to be updated. When you are in Updates you will see the Update button in the lower right corner.
