Booted today and No download window in Safari!!~~~~~HELP PLEASE!!!
Started p.c. this am--looking forward to the instant downloads.
BUT the small square window opens-blank-"Not responding".
As I did a Perfect Disk defrag last night I "repaired" safari--still no displayed downloads either current or past-Safari simply commits suicide? HOW TO REPAIR QUICKLY PLEASE???
Is the preference for where to download to pointing to a valid location.

2012 MBA 11 boot camp can't download windows support software?
I just got 2012 MBA 11 today, and I tried boot camp assistant to download Windows 7 driver, but it fails saying " Can't install windows support software because it is not currently available from the Software Update server". Is it because my MBA is too new and I need to wait for a few days, or other issue?
Please help.
LuIs is really aggravating not being able to download the drivers for my MBA 11 2012. I've managed to get the video and wireless working using the Intel drivers for the video and the Broadcom drivers for the WIFI. I am using the Lenovo drivers for WIFI:

Open the .exe file in Winzip and just take the Broadcom folder.
I hope this is fixed at Apple soon. -
I have watched firefox download. Once it is complete it disappears from the download window in Safari.
My pop up blocker is shut off.
I can download when I am in Administrator mode but not under individual username account.You should be able to check in Safari to find where downloads are going, in Preferences > General. You can also change the download directory for Safari. If you cannot get Safari to work on that computer, maybe download Firefox on some other computer and transfer the file on a flash stick or CD.

My shortcut for downloads window in Safari (command-option-L) does not work anymore, when i press that combination of buttons, iTunes appears in my screen.
Can i do something to bring back my shortcut?

Try troubleshooting the Safari .plist file.
Quit Safari.
Open a Finder window. Select your Home Folder in the Sidebar on the left. It has a small house icon. Then open the Library folder then the Preferences folder.
Move the com.apple.Safari.plist file from the Preferences folder to the Desktop. Now launch Safari. Try the keyboard shortcut for the Downloads window. If it didn't help, just move that .plist file back to the Preferences folder.
Also, go to your Safari menu bar click Safari/Reset Safari. Select the top 7 buttons, click Reset. Restart your Mac. That might help too. -

I cant get my ipad 2 out of recovery. The apple icon stays on and nothing happens. I tried restoring it through Itunes but it comes up with a 3194 error code. I have the latest Itunes being 10.6.1.7 and the latest windows update.Can someone please help?
Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -

I can't update my iPod Touch software. It fails at 777 mb of 778mb saying download has timed out. Computer settings and broadband connections are fine. Help please!

if that does not help then I would try to connect it by a microUSB cable to see if I could restore the firmware from a computer running itunes

Adobe no longer supports the installation and use of Acrobat 6 as it is a very old version which is not compatible with Windows 7.
I would suggest you to please use the latest version of Acrobat i.e. 11.0.10 which is fully compatible with your OS with its enhanced features and functions.

I seen so many of these post for windows users.
Try my little "trick" (must be running iOS 4.3 or better)
Download the app "Download Manager Lite" (FREE) or "Download Manager" Full ($ 1.99 USD)
After downloading, transfer it to iTunes
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
After transferring, Go to your iDevice (on itunes), to the apps page, scroll down, you can add/save videos and/or files.
Click on "Add", find the folder of which your movies are being downloaded. Its much faster than syncing from itunes.
You can do the wi-fi transfer, the best part is that you don't have to be connected to the same wi-fi.
You will get 2 different URLs you need to type on your computer. Type the Web URL not the ftp URL. After that, you should have access to the app, without the need of itunes.
Click on Add, find the folder of where your movies are stored, faster than syncing with iTunes.
