BorderLayout - cant resize

i added some buttons on BorderLayout.SOUTH, but the SOUTH size is too small to fit in all the buttons i have added.

I assume you added the buttons to a panel and that panel is in the SOUTH of a larger panel, m'kay?
What layout manager is the smaller panel using?
When did you add the buttons, before or after you packed the frame?

Cant resize itunes, please help

Please help, this has been driving me nuts for days.
I recently used a full screen application (RPG Maker 2003) which is a 320x240 application, when I came out of it I tried to use coverflow but the coverflow itself is too high up, i cant drag it, I have tried resizing the whole window, uninstalling and changing my screen resolution (I have the highest screen resolution selected so I cant go to a higher resolution and resize it that way)
Here is a picture of my problem.

Okay, this is looking like a preference files thing.
The technique you need to fix that is described in the "Remove iTunes Preference files" section of the "User-specific troubleshooting" section of the following document:

Before starting out on that, set the PC up to view hidden files and folders, as per the description at the beginning of the "User-specific troubleshooting" section.
*Some heads-ups before proceeding*
Be careful of any custom preferences (EQ, imports, etc) you have set up. Take a note of those, because rebuilding the relevant prefs returns all such prefs to their default settings. You may need to set up any such preferences all over again.
You may also need to reinstall any third-party plugins afterwards.
Things to expect during the pref file rebuild ... moving one set to the desktop (on XP) causes the setup assistant to run during the rebuild. Avoid saying yes if it asks you to import all the media files on your PC into iTunes. Otherwise, you'll end up duplicating all your content in your iTunes library. Moving the other set of prefs to the desktop (on XP) means that you have to agree to the licence agreement again.

Os7 cant resize wallpaper images properly

When I am asked to resize an image to apply for wallpaper I cant shrink it down small enough to see the whole image.
Its like OS7 has limits to how much you can shrink or zoom an image.
Why is this?

Im guessing this is because of the increase in resolution of the new retina display in the 5S?
Can we have a fix for iphone 5 please?

Hmm. Interesting, Mike. When I bring the Message window into
focus with the Text Inspector open, the font and styling options
become gray. Works for the other text windows, though. I note that
the font in the Message window seems dependent on the font I've
chosen for the script windows, but its really small. Maybe I need
to "erase my prefs" or reinstall. I'll try that I guess.

Cant resize my window- it's too **** big???

Havent been to Grage band in a month and now my window is so big I cant find the controls- it's too big to grab the lower left and corner- did something change in an update?

does clicking the green "zoom" button in the titleBar help? GB does have a minimum size, and i have one monitor here which won't display the entire window, but GB does warn about that any time I launch it on that machine

probably depends on which update you're referring to here (i think v1 allowed for a smaller window size than v6 does, for instance)

CS6 artboard - cant resize from center

In CS5, if you hold the ALT key (on windows, not mac) while resizing the artboard, it will scale from the center... creating an even width reduction/increase on either side of the page. Why was this behavior removed in CS6?

as a workaround one could draw a rectangle the size of the artboard, resize it from the center, turn it into an artboard, then delete the original artboard.

long time ago (a little over a year ago) I wrote a script for CS4 that resized the artboard to fit the Art in it...it went obsolete with CS5. I think we could do it in CS4 also but the command could not be recorded in an Action...something like that, I don't remember. It could be used for this request....
is anyone interested?

Cant resize partition on M40-265

Hallo,
yesterday I bought me the new M40-265. I try to creat a 2nd partiton with PartitonMagic7, but I got always an error message "Error 1533 Allocated cluster list too long".
It is generally possible to resize the partition?

Well, Im not 100% sure but I think your partition is oversized. Try to create a smaller partition.
Did you create a FAT32 or NTFS partition?
In my opinion if you used Win Xp, the partition should be created with NTFS.
Furthermore it is possible to change the HDD size of partition and to make some other changes with PM7.

Cant resize my thumbnails... What the heck?

I seem to have lost the slider bar that allows me to change my thumbnail size in grid mode.
Where did it go and how do I get it back?

On the toolbar uder the thumbnails, at the right hand edge, there is a small white arrow. Click it, and you can select what you want shown on the toolbar, including a size slider.

Resizing images within Mail not working in Snow Leopard

Hi,
I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard on both my desktop (iMAC Quad Core) and my MacBook Pro. I'm now experiencing an issue when I attach images within the Mail application.
In the past, if I attached an image I could resize it by selecting the option at the lower right of the window and it would scale the image accordingly. Now if I select "large" it resizes the image as if I selected small. It's tiny, like 30KB. I tried it on both machines and I get the same thing.
This was never an issue before upgrading to Snow Leopard. In the past if I selected "large" it would scale my image down to roughly 4X6 300dpi.
Has anyone else found a fix for this issue?

But i have now a Problem!
iPhoto 09 itself can send max. 10 pics in one mail. When i drag & drop more photos to mail as attachement, mail can´t resize photos with greater than 150dpi correctly.
I have many photos greater than 150 dpi
With new iPhoto 09 i can not send:
1. more than 10 photos
2. without "zipping"
with mail i can send more than 10 photos at one time but i cant resize these images!

The only way to send more than 10 photos with resizing the images is:
1. export these photos from iphoto to a folder with resizing function
2. drag or attach these photos to a mail
3. send mail
4. delete the created folder with images
5. empty trash
iPhoto 8 can send many photos at one time including resizing and display the estimated size of mail (e.g. Megabytes).

Cant see entire art board in print window

Hello, I seem to be having some issues when it comes to printing through illustrator CC.
When you open the print dialog box the piece I am trying to print looks tiny in the print window
and always gets cut off because I cant resize it to fit the window properly.
I have attached a screen shot.
My question is how do I get the print window back to the way it use to be where you could see the entire file in the print dialog box? I have uninstalled the program and deleted all the preferences and when I reinstalled it
I still have the same issue.

yes it shows album art in my itunes player in my laptop when i play song.
but that same song when i sync in my iphone, in my ipod player it doesnt show ablum art.

How can I Resize Audacious?

Hi, I wanted to give audacious a try because winamp was my main player in my windows days, So I find it very easy to use, but I cant find how to resize the player, I can only resize the playlist, cant resize the main window, only thing I can do is double size but looks very ugly. I want to be able to drag the player and resize it to my liking, Is there anyway it can be done?

I cant resize, minimize/maximize because the top bar of the browser has disappeared and the browser window now occupies my entire screen, I can no longer tab back and forth using the ubuntu menu bar at the bottom of the screen. I guess it is because of some carriage returns in your dynamic img tag that is being generated may be not, so make sure there are no breaks half-way through he attributes of the img tag.

Jpegs can't be resized after exporting from InDesign

I am using Indesign CC9.2. A problem has recently developed where I cant resize a jpeg. It doesnt matter file size or settings. I have tried every combination. I export a simple document to jpeg and save to my desktop. I open the file in Preview. I resize it, and an error message states "this change cannot be saved".
This only happens with Jpegs I have exported from Indesign. No problems with jpegs from any other source. Any ideas?

But the same problem comes with most of free image editors, they don't suppoert CMYK.
Maybe that Kristine should export as RGB, then she will be able to scale it or scale it upon JPG export from InDesign.
