Boris for 1.0

can't seem to set any motion paths for text, also in the boris manual they show under the motion tab in the right corner "nav" i haven't seen this option pop up

can you set motion paths for text in final cut express 2?
in the boris manual that came with fce pg.38-39 they show instructions for moving text offscreen and creating an animated tracking effect i follow the instructions and can never get it to work, is this something that never worked with this software?

  • BOR for F-53 AR Module Outgoing Post Payment

    Hi FL,
    F-53 is an accounting document. To trigger event for F-53, you will have to use BTE (Business Transaction Events).
    Goto SPRO -> Reference IMG -> Financial Accounting -> Global settings -> Tools -> Customer Enhancements -> Business Transaction Events
    Here, Environment -> Info system (P/S) and execute.
    You can select the event for your scenario.
    Once you select the event, click on the event and select 'Sample function module'. Copy this sample FM to a 'Z' FM and in this FM call the FM 'SWE_EVENT_CREATE'.

    Then you may need to use change documents for event creation ( I think you can use Change oBject MATERIAL)

  • BOR for PS budget approval workflow

    Hi gurus,
                   I have a Project Systems scenario in which For all the changes done in CJ40, one reminder has to generate for Budget approvals to the concern in T-Code: CJ30.
    Has anyone done this workflow before. Is there any standard Workflow or business object for this.
    Please share your idea on how to proced with this workflow scenario.

    Hello Hari !
                  I suppose bus2001 will be suitable to your requirement.
                  If it doesn't suits, you can find the business object by adopting following steps :
                  1.Switch on the event trace inb SWELS transaction.
                  2.Go to CJ40 and do the changes and save.
                  3.Go to SWEL and see what business object have generated for the time stamp at when CJ40 is saved.
                  That's the business object required for your scenario.If no business object is seen , set the status(system or user as required) and do the above 3 steps again.
                 Still, no event is fired in SWEL, find the appropriate BAdI or user-exit  and you can get the job done.
                  There is no standard workflow that suits to your requirement.You have to go only for custom developments.

    If you want to add a import field u need to have a acess key.
    Else
    you need to copy the function module and needs to implement your own Z F/M  fields are to be inserted.
    After insertion go to T-code SWO1 and place BUS2037 then add ur z funtion module in BAPI: Billing Document

    Hello! I have Tom Wolsky's DVD and book - read and watched once each, but somehow missed how to do this, if I can.
    Using Boris for text - how can I add a rectangle of color behind the text, to help it stand out from the video behind it? Can I adjust the opacity so the video shows through?
    I hope I've explained this well enough.
    Even if you can tell me where to read in the book "Final Cut Express 4" Editing Workshop - or where to watch on the FCE Made Easy DVD - that would help!
    Or do I need to use LiveType for this?

    Place your background video on V1.
    Place your Text on V3.
    Get a color background from the Generator button (lower right hand corner of the Viewer, marked with an "A") select Matte>Color and place that color on V2.
    Double click the color clip you just placed on V2 and in the viewer click on the motion tab.
    Open the Crop pane by clicking on the little triangle next to the word "Crop". Adjust the sliders to get the rectangle cropped the way you want it. You can also adjust the softness of the edge of the rectangle.
    Open the Opacity pane by clicking on the little triangle next to the word "Opacity".
    Adjust the opacity to your liking.
    You will probably have to render the effect to see it play properly.

    2. if  business object contains further child business objects then how to get attributes of those child business objects  also?

    You have to use SWC_GET_ELEMENT CONTAINER '( string name of your attribute)' your_attribute.
    All attributes are part of container issue.. SWC_GET_ELEMENT command can give you these values.

    Hi,
    im searching for a BTE which trigger modification on material classifications. I found EVENT 4004 and 4005, but they not work. I change classification with mm02 under the classification tab. Have someone an idea if there is an EVENT for this? Or exists a BOR for this?

  • MacBook Pro duty cycle - can it be run at full CPU for extended time?

    Hello,
    I'm wondering if anyone knows Apple's stance on the duty-cycle of the MacBook Pro models. I'm should be receiving a MBP Core2Duo 2.16 GHz in a couple days.
    The reason I ask is that I currently have a PowerBook 1.33 GHz, and do a good deal of rendering of 3D computer graphics. On my PowerBook, when it is running under full load, the fan will come on for a while.. then turn off... then on for a while etc. It doesn't seem to have problems keeping the temp down unless the ambient temp of the room is high (say, above 80 F, 26C, which then is my fault and I need AC... lol, not computer design).
    I have had a few MacBook Pro units from work, and they work quite differently. The fan always runs... usually around 1k RPM, and then spools up to compensate for load. I have had two left fans go bad in 1.83 GHz Duo Core units (fairly early in production), and recently got a 2.33 GHz at work. I put it under full load tonight for a while, and the fans spun up to about 4k RPM (they seem to idle at 2k RPM). This kept the temp of the CPU to around 79 C... which is a bit higher than I like... but probably safe (and our room temp is fairly cool this time of year... about 70 F, 21 C).
    I'm wondering if it is safe to run a MBP like this for extended periods of time. I'm talking days here, 24x7... not just an hour or two. I have done this MANY times on my PowerBook G4 1.33... and it is probably like 3 years old or so now. Having those fans go out has just made me a bit gun shy I guess. Should I expect to be able to do this kind of thing with a 'Pro' laptop... or am I just running them too hard? Or, were there just a bad run of fans in the earlier MBPs?... it was always the left fan.

    Actually, I don't think 4,000 RPM is all that great,
    and the fans shouldn't have any trouble maintaining
    this speed indefinitely. 10k or more would be a
    different story.
    Of course, this is true only if the fans are designed
    (and built) properly. I can't speak to that.
    Yea, that's what I'm afraid of (fans not designed for that). It might be because I've actually witnessed a couple go bad... but I just don't think most of these tiny PC type fans can take it. Graphic card fans are notorious for going bad too. I'm less concerned with keeping the CPU temp down than I am with the high RPM on the fans actually.
    Regardless, you should be able to run your MBP "full
    bore" for as long as you like, and you needn't worry
    about it failing.
    I think you're correct... other than the fans. I'm guessing they will fail. If they did, the computer would probably just shut down. It probably wouldn't hurt anything, just need the fan replaced. But, I'd rather avoid that if I can. I suppose I could replace it myself to keep from having to send it away for a week or two.
    There is one thing, however, that
    most people do not consider, and which will help more
    than anything else (maybe even room temp): Keep the
    air around your MBP moving!
    Bingo! Great lead. I guess I knew this but didn't think of how big of difference it really would make. So, I did some experimenting.
    I brought up my trusty iStat Nano Dashboard widget so I could see the fan speed. Then I took a folder and fanned the computer for a couple minutes. Just this amount of air movement dropped the RPM from around 4600 (for some odd reason, my 2.16 runs at higher RPM than my 2.33, and keeps the CPU a couple degrees cooler) down to 2800. WOW!
    Then my arm got tired, and I went to get a rather powerful fan I could fit on my desk (one of Honeywell vortex type fans), and then it dropped to 2200 RPM. This fan is WAY to noisy, but my folder experiment demonstrated I don't need all that much air movement... just like you said.
    I think I'm going to go tomorrow and get either a couple of small fans, or maybe even some low noise computer fans and experiment with some ways of mounting them. I should be able to keep it down in the mid-2500 RPM range and still be quiet if I get the right setup.
    Also, I think you can safely disregard what your
    "overclocking" friends have to say. True, 100 C is
    quite hot, and would certainly be too hot for earlier
    processors. The Core Duo, however, is an entirely
    different beast, and Intel has designed it to run
    that hot. I think your friends are probably
    (inappropriately) applying specs for earlier
    processors to the Core Duo.
    I checked the Intel specs on the Core2Duo, and it has an operating max of 100 C. It some kind of actual hardware failure type shutdown at 120 C. So, I guess 80 C is hot, but 20 C under the max operating temp. I'm sure Apple designed it to keep that temp safe, so I guess they just vary the fans to keep it under 80 C the way it looks.

    I'm developping an application to manage authorization requests.
    I began it using BOR, for the reason that i'll manage different status creating them by SAP Workflow.
    When I started with the application, we use the BOR FORMABSENC like an example, but while I were developping I found out several problems and I decided to create it with CLASS and SAP Work.
    I would like to know what's the difference between BOR or Class, which of both options you recommend  me and why you've decided on it.

    It is always good to adapt to object oriented approach for all sort of ABAP development. Using BOR is the conventional style of build. You will have better control on the program flow and design using OOABAP. Read some demo chapters available on internet of SAP press book "official abap programming guidelines" for your answer.
