Bose Bluetooth unable to connect to iPAD.

Bose Bluetooth does not connect to iPad anymore.
Used to work.  Now it doesn't connect.  Have reset both iPAD and Bose..Also have depressed the BT button to activate...no work
Any suggestions welcome...thanks

1. Hold Bluetooth button down for 3 seconds so that iPad can "see" the Soundlink (bluetooth light should fade in and out every second)
2. Make sure it's within range
3. Keep speaker away from router, cordless phone or microwave oven
4. Keep it away from other Bluetooth device
5. Make sure it's not muted
6. Turn it off and on again
7. Make sure volume is turned up

What exactly do you want to do?  Sharing is a vague word.  What do you wish to share?
    Wifi hotspot should work.

  • I am unable to connect my ipad to the internet via wifi, when asked for my password I get message "unable toI ge join network" however my laptop is able to access the internet using similar procedures and in the same physical location.?

I am unable to connect my IPad to the internet via WiFi, when asked for a password then attempt to join I get the messag "unable to join the network" however  if I use my laptop in  the same physical locationand using similar procedures I am able to conect.?

What router are you using? make/model/version
What security type are you using? If it is WEP then symbolic (non hex) keys may be converted to hex in different ways by different operating systems. Is your laptop a Windows PC?
If you are using WEP then drop it and move to WPA2. WEP has been deprecated by the WiFi alliance since 2004 as insecure (it can be hacked in seconds).

I have 3 Dell laptops at home and I am unable to connect my iPad 1 to any of them using the USB cable.  If I connect the iPad to any Apple computer using the same USB cable, it works perfectly.  I have installed the latest versions of iTunes and iOS, but still no luck. Apple Store Geniuses helped me determine that it wasn't my iPad causing the problem, but were less helpful when it came to dealing with non-Apple devices.
    Options?

Does the OS see the iPad at all? In other words does it show up in either the My Computer or Device Manager?
I've had problems in the past where I had to modify the registry to get my son's iPod to sync with a particular HP laptop.
If it doesn't show up at all have your tried using an external hub (with or without power)?

  • TS1363 since installing itunes 11.1 i am unable to connect iphone/ipad to itunes?

since installing itunes 11.1 i am unable to connect iphone/ipad to itunes?

    Hey there Jantje1,
It sounds like you are unable to launch iTunes and get an error message instead. I would try the troubleshooting outlined in this article named:
iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1717
If it comes down to uninstalling, then re installing iTunes altogether, use this link to download the 64 bit version of iTunes directly.
    iTunes 11.1.3 for Windows (64-bit)

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,

  • HT204409 unable to connect my ipad to my wireless internet - all other devices including another ipad, ipods, laptops etc.. connect fine?

Can't seem to connect one of my ipads to our wireless network at home - every other device in the house is connected?
    any suggestions?

Did it ever connect? How about to other networks?
    Try this:
Reboot ipad by pressing and holding both the home and sleep/wake buttons at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go. Then try to connect to network.
Go to settings, Toggle airplane mode on/off. Make sure bluetooth is off. Turn on wif (airplane mode off). Try to connect.
    Reset Network Settings
Go to settings/general/reset/reset network settings. Then try to connect to network.
If its your home router, then reboot router by unplugging for 5-10min. (do this while you're resetting network settings).
If problem persists, then check for firmware updates on your router.(you check router manufacturer support website for downloads and instructions).

  • Bluetooth "Unable to Connect" in 5800XM

My 5800XM's Bluetooth is not working properly. Everytime I try to send or receive content over my device's Bluetooth, it says "Unable to Connect". I also cannot pair my device with other devices although the Bluetooth indicator is shown on the screen. I tried connecting to different devices but the problem always exists. I was never asked to enter the Passcode. I confirmed that I have the latest firmware update for my device, which is 52.0.007
    Any help?

Although it would entail backing up essential data first, the only way to exclude any software issues would be to "hard reset" device to return it to "out of box" state.

  • TS1559 Unable to connect my iPad to a Oncourse Bluetooth BT-339 GPS receiver

I'm trying to use an external GPS which is Bluetooth model number BT-339 to my iPad. I am not able to connect it. It is not finding the device.

You need an app that is compatible with both the iPad and the GPS unit in order to use the GPS unit. The iPad does not natively contain the BT profile necessary to pair with the GPS unit.

  • Wireless keyboard unable to connect to iPad mini

I have had difficulty connecting my Apple wireless keyboard with my iPad mini. I continually receive the same message- make sure your devilce is on and within range. I have put new batteries in the keyboard and even attempted to connect the keyboard to my iPhone 5s. However, the same message pops up. Any suggestions?

You have to put the the keyboard in "Discovery Mode" for it to pair via Bluetooth.
To place your keyboard in discovery mode press the silver button on the right side of the keyboard - the green light will start flashing.

  • Unable to connect new iPad Air to HH2.

I have had Infinity for years using HH2 (the curved one with straight edges) and has worked fine. 100% wireless connections to all the devices I have ever tried. Currently using WPA/WPA2 on channel 11.
Wireless is connected to Wii, Xbox, iPad Mini's, iPhones (3 & 5), Android phones, Windows phones, all fine no issues, all showing connected on the "Home Network Page".  There are still DHCP leases available. I maintain my companies IT infrastructure so setting up HH was easy compared to some of the kit I normally use.
However I bought my wife an iPad air for her "multiple of 10 birthday" and I have not been able to get it to connect to the HH. It can see the wireless network, enter password, but ends up with a self assigned network address and iPad complaining it can't get access to the Internet.
I have tried ipad "forget network setting", "reset network connections" and "reset completely" no difference. Removed all security off wireless, no difference.
I reset the iPad, bought it into work, went through setup and it connected first time to our work "hidden" WPA2 network (from a Draytek router), so wireless works. Took it home, tried to connect to home wireless network, same error.
Might borrow our works "spare" HH3 infinity router and try that at home, unless someone has other suggestions ?

Finally tracked it down. Not issuing a DHCP address to iPad.
Hard code an IP address on iPad and works fine. Not sure why, but at least is a fix for the moment.

  • Mavericks Bluetooth unable to connect to Internet through Bluetooth pan

Im trying to connect my MacBookPro running Mavericks to the Internet through a personal hotspot on my iPhone.  This works fine with my wife's MBP running Mountain Lion, but I can't get a connection to the Internet. Diagnostics shows that I have a good connection to the phone and ISP, but Internet and server are red.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    Mike
