BOTH of my K210 Systems have the very same problem
Hope somebody can help. I have two identical Lenovo IdeaCenter K210 machines. They were shut off for a trip away from home for holiday.
BOTH machines are failing to start in the same exact way. Push power on button, chasis fan, cpu fan, power supply fans come on.............can hear hard drive click .... this process takes about 3 seconds then repeats. The fans cycle like this over and over and the system never boots up.
This cycling stops when power is unplugged. Have dusted everything, have disconected cd and hard drives, took out ram and got long beep.
Anybody have a suggestion? Really weird that this is 2 separate systems (they are the same age) and nearly identical computers with the same problem.

Took the battery out of the motherboard. Put it back in. Had to reset CMOS time. Will replace batteries tomorrow.
Going to look at system diagnostics, bios updates etc.
Just bad batteries????? Need this in the knowledgebase somewhere.

The Superdrive on my MacBook Pro ejects audio CDs just a few seconds after inserting them. This happens both with original audio CDs I have bought in music stores AND with audio CDs I have recorded myself, on the very same computer, via iTunes. Verizon iPhone 5, 64GB black - is anyone having issues with a very choppy conversation while talking on the phone? Both my wife and I have the same phones and are both having the same issue. We can only hear every other word of the person we are talking to. This happens at home, on the road and in the downtown area while calling both cellphones and landlines. It is intermittent, so we don't know exactly when it will reoccur. Absolutely no problem with data. The data speed is great.

I have a very irritating problem with my MacBook Pro. It keeps loosing the wifi connection - every 5-1o minutes!!!
I have testet the wifi signal and had my router checked - both are fine.

JohnFirst you should check on another Wifi to see if it's your Lion machine.
If it only occurs on your Wifi, then perhaps you have local interference and need to set the router on another channel far from others.
You can install a free program called KisMAC that you set your Driver Preferences to Apple Airport Extreme Passive Mode, enter your Admin password and monitor your local Wifi signals, see if you cna pin point the cause of your interference or meddler.
If your not running WPA2 with AES and a 12 plus random character/letter/number password for both Admin and Internet access use only then you should seriously consider doing so.

I have a iphone 5 and I can login with my apple id to purchase music. However, when I try to login into icloud using the very same username and password that I use in the apple store it does not work to enter icloud, so what what gives???
I could do that, however when I select the icloud button (or whatever the heck it is) I am asked to enter the apple id and password. So if you are suppose to create another one for icloud you'd think it would give you the option at this point which would be logical.

LMDB - SLD "Source and target system have the same object server name"
Hi,
the system is a SM7.1 SP1
For some reason (Object-Server-Name changed), the job that syncs the sld and lmdb cancels...
I set the LMDB-Object-Server-Name to its original Name...
Now i've deleted the sync-config in the solman_setup and try to start a new sync, but i get the following error, when i try to configure the source-system:
'Source and target system have the same object server name: CISM318'
But the names are different: 'SM3' (LMDB) and 'CISM318' (SLD)
Any suggestions ?

I am writing you because of facing a problem in my ipod. I have downloaded wechat a month a go and then deleted later on, but last night I needed wechat again so i try to download it but the very astonishing problem occurs in downloading that. In apple store when i search wechat there is written open on it right side instead of free or install. I become so much astonished that if i don't have wechat in my ipod apps then how it become written open on it....?????? i just tap that open but its nor opening neither downloading.....

Please help me as soon as possible....If you are getting the 'open' option on the Purchased tab in the App Store app then that implies that you still have the app installed - you've checked all of your iPod's homescreens and app folders for it, and tried searching for it via its spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right) ? Do any of those find it, or if you tap on the 'open' button does that open the app ?

To update to iOS 6.0 requires iTunes 10.7. You need to first update your version of iTunes.

I have the iphone 4s. Ive tried to update my phone & its stuck on the connect to itunes screen. Ive tried to even restore my phone then update & i still have a error for both of them. I have the latest version of itunes & went through all the other steps. Its still not working & stuck on the connect to itunes & im growing extremly fusterated.

I have a very similar problem in that I changed my appleID loginid and now none of my home shares work (5506) . All itunes have been re-authorized/authenticated with the new appleID string. Yet I still receive this error. I too am looking for suggestions.

I have a very strange problem - A can listen on B, but B cannot listen on A

I have a very disturbing problem.
I have done a Paint-like program that add Point-objects on the JFrame. This porgram is networked and it contains a thread class that is sending the Point and a thread class that recieves Point objects. That makes it possible to open two instances of the program and when you paint on one of the windows, the program will send the point coordinats through a DatagramPacket to the other window. So, to make this clear, this program has ONE Sending class called Client and ONE Receiving class called Server. So when you want to make a connection, then you have to open two instances of the program.
So what is the problem?
Suppose that I have opened two instances of the program. Instance A is sending packets to port 2001 and is listening for packets on port 2000. Instance B is sending packets to port 2000 and is listening for packets on port 2001.
When I draw a point on Instance A's window, the Instance B is receiving the point and draws the point on its window.
When I draw a point on Instance B's window, the Instance A is NOT receiving the point. Instance B is listening on itself. That is the problem. Why is instance B listening for packets from itself and why doesn´t A get B's packets when B gets A's packets?

I can no longer print PDF files that were scanned with the very same MX479 All-in-One.
I have an (obsolete) Windows XP, SP3 computer. Obviously, no updates from Microsoft
have occurred that might have impacted my Canon Pixma MX479.
When I attempt to send 1 or more pages from a PDF file to the printer, I don't even get the
Canon PIXMA popup that would allow me to cancel the print job.
Yet the Print Queue icon appears in the lower right corner of my monitor.
If I view the Print Queue, the print queue shows "spooling" and does nothing more.
If I attempt to CANCEL the print job in the Print Queue, it simply changes to "deleting -
spooling".
I cannot cancel the print job that shows NOT RESPONDING via Task Manager, either.
In fact, the only way the Print Queue icon disappears is if I totally reboot my computer!
"Luckily", I can still print e-mails, Word documents, and even my downloaded PDF of my
bank statement.
So, I was thinking that it was *only* PIXMA'S OWN SCANNED PDFS that could not be
printed ON THE SAME PIXMA 479.
However, I have since realized that I also cannot print USPS Signature Proof of Delivery
PDFs that I received from USPS via e-mail.
So why can I print *some* PDF files, but not *all* PDF files, like I previously could do?
THESE SCANS ARE OF LEGAL DOCUMENTS, SO I WILL LIKELY HAVE TO E-MAIL
THE REQUISITE, PREVIOUSLY SCANNED PDFS TO FEDEX TO PAY FOR *THEM*
TO PRINT THEM.
NOTE: I *have* tried turning the PIXMA off, unplugging it, rebooting the computer, plugging
the PIXM in and restarting the PIXMA - still no ability to print PIXMA-scanned PDFs.
And, I find it very strange that e-mails, Word documents, and some other PDFs print with
no problem "around" "NOT RESPONDING" PIXMA print jobs.
I have owned Canon printers for years, including the MX420, and the MX340.There may be some security issues related to the USPS PDFs.

I can't help with the scan/print problem. You seem to have done everything I would try.
I don't know if maybe using a registry cleaner would help.
