Bottom border of tab bar is missing in active tab

I tried Classic Theme Restored and most of it works well, but it's like I have to choose between every tab having a very small border (tabs not on top 1), or tabs having a thick gray border like in 16... EXCEPT the actie tab. (tabs not on top 2.) Can someone help?

Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.
* Shockwave Flash 15.0 r0
* Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300
* Shockwave Flash 11.2 r202
You can find the installation path of all plugins on the <b>about:plugins</b> page.

You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.

  • Firefox closes everytime I TRY TO USE BLACKBOARD, telling having problems to recover tabs, Also The menu bar is missing.

I installed firefox because I need to use Jctcs blacboard to do my assignments but Everytime I try to do them the page close. It appears a note in screen saying It 's embarrasing but Firefox is having trouble with tabs. ask to restore again or begin a new session. I feel frustration, I don't know what to do. Also the menu bar is missing at the top of page.

    * In Firefox 3.6 versions on Windows and Firefox 4 on Windows and Linux it's possible to hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu of a toolbar.
    * Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
    * Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

  • New install of Ubuntu, Firefox menu bar is missing.

I have a new machine with a new install of Ubuntu 12.04. In Firefox the menu bar is missing. I have the black border with 3 buttons in the left and the current page title. I also have a tabs bar and toolbars. I've looked in the forum/help and tried the suggestions there, here's what happened:
If I right-click the tab bar, the only toolbars shown in the drop-down menu are Navigation, Bookmarks and Add-ons, so I can't show the menu bar that way.
    I don't have a Firefox button.
I've tried creating a new toolbar and moving all buttons except the address field and google search across in case it was a lack of space on the toolbar but that didn't help.
    I can't reset the profile as I don't have a help menu.
I've re-installed Firefox and there was no change.
Does anyone have other suggestions please?
    Tim

Ubuntu 11.xx and later displays window menus in the control bar at the top of the screen with the switch to the Unity window manager.

Click on Bookmarks/Show All Bookmarks then move your mouse to the left upper corner toward Firefox Web Browser.
You will get pop up menu (Organize, Views and Import and Backup).

  • My horizontal scroll bar went missing when I maximise the window. How do I fix them?

My horizontal scroll bar went missing when I maximise the window. How do I fix them? I tried everything; such as auto hide the task bar. Even with this, I still can't see the horizontal scroll bar. I even tried the following and I still can't see the horizontal scroll bar.
    1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the search box above the list, type or paste dom and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Double-click the dom.disable_window_open_feature.scrollbars preference to switch it from false to true. By choosing true, you disable sites from deciding whether there can be scrollbars on a window, and Firefox uses its standard behavior for the page.
If you want to always get other bars, here are the corresponding settings:
    Menu Bar: dom.disable_window_open_feature.menubar
    Navigation Toolbar: dom.disable_window_open_feature.toolbar
    Bookmarks Toolbar: dom.disable_window_open_feature.personalbar
    Please help.

Can you post a screen shot?
Taking a Screen shot; '''''Windows > Start >''''' search box '''''> Snipping Tool'''''.
Save the picture(s) to your desktop. Now look at the '''Reply''' box below.
Do you see the button under it that says '''Browse'''? Click it and then select
the screen shot(s) from the desktop.

  • Scroll bar is missing

    Hello,
My horizontal scroll bar is missing and disabled. Ive tried using overflow-x:scroll, overflow-x: auto, all of it. The scroll bar appears but is disabled. It works in Chrome and IE
What's up. Why would you disable the scroll bars? This makes NO sense.

I see very similar results in IE8 and Fx14. Both have a scroll bar at a certain width and then as I expand the window (this is a 1440px display) the scroll bar vanishes. The width where this happens is slightly different, but not by much.
Please note that pop-up windows may display differently than regular windows. The script code for the pop-up can remove certain controls from the new window such as scrollbars. If you think this might be what's happening, you can force scrollbars in popups using a hidden preference.
    (1) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the filter box, type or paste '''window_open''' and pause while the list is filtered
    (3) Double-click the '''dom.disable_window_open_feature.scrollbars''' to switch its value from the default of false (don't disable sites from hiding scrollbars) to true (prevent sites from hiding scrollbars).

Use "Alt" to make sure the menu bar is visible, then View > Toolbars > ... -- make sure that the Navigation bar is checkmarked, if tabs on top is confusing uncheck that, if you want to see menus and title bar make sure menu bar is check-marked.

My safari menu bar is missing.  The menu bar for desktop, HD, and apps appears, but when I click on Safari, it disappears, so I can no longer see my buttons for History, etc.  I think my husband (pc user) clicked it away when borrowing my computer.  Any ideas how to retrieve it?  Thanks.

I too was having the same problem However, I could access both the menu bar and the dock by hovering my mouse over them so it wasn't a huge problem but I prefered having it there anyway. I was not in full screen mode and I could still go into full screen mode if I wanted to.  I found the easiest solution was to just quit safai and restart it, but it might not work for you considering you couldn't access you menu bar either way.
I found this article that allows you to hide/show the menu bar and the dock through TextEdit (didn't work for me) http://www.mactricksandtips.com/2009/07/hide-the-menubar-or-dock-in-specific-app s.html It is pretty old so it might not work for lion and a bit risky if you don't know what you're doing so I wouldn't really recommend doing it this way.
And KSheppard, I know it's not really any of my buisness, but the way to get answers to a question isn't by insulting others and being quick-tempered. Even if you feel like you were insulted first, don't try snapping at people who aren't obligated to help you. Honestly, it just makes everything easier if everybody is cooperative and polite.

  • Report generation: Using only bottom border cell in Excel

I'm trying to write a report to Excel. for each 2 rows I want the cells to have a bottom border.
With the VI " Excel set Cell Color and Border VI" I have 2 options, using inside border and outside border.
Outside border seems to be the top and bottom border. However , I can only put them both on and off, I can't use them seperatly.
Is there a way of telling this VI that I only want to have a bottom border?
Idealy I would like to select a cellstyle like one can do in Excel:

    Hello kev91,
Can you give me some more information about the software versions you're using?
    Is this LabVIEW 2012?
Which version of Excel are you using?
Can you share an example of how the final Excel-file should look like?
It would also be useful to see what you already have written in LabVIEW so that we can just change/modify that code.

  • My address bar and menu bar are missing, unable to back up history or bookmarks..

I unchecked menu bar then unchecked address bar. Now I can't right click and check them back to make them appear. Now I can't back up my history or my bookmarks. I have no help> or menu.

<u>'''Can't see the Menu Bar'''</u> (File, Edit, View, History...Help)? Hold down the key ( key in OSX) and press the following letters in this exact order: V T M
The Menu Bar should now be displayed permanently, unless you turn it off again (View > Toolbars). Turning the Menu Bar on and off is a new feature in version 3.6.
    See: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Menu+bar+is+missing
<u>'''See other Toolbars'''</u> under View > Toolbars. Clicking on one of them will place a check mark (display) or remove the check mark (not displayed).
<u>'''To display the Status Bar'''</u>, View, then click Status bar to place a check mark (display) or remove the check mark (not displayed).

Try the Firefox SafeMode. <br />
    ''A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.'' <br />
''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)''
    # You can open the Firefox 4/5/6/7 SafeMode by holding the '''Shft''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    # Or use the Help menu item, click on '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' while Firefox is running. <br />
''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.''
If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

  • I have dual displays.  My dock is on the MBP bottom and the menu bar is on the extended monitors top.

I have a Dell 2408 acting as the main display and a 15" MBP.  For some reason, today the dock ended up on the MBP screen at the bottom and the menu bar is on the Dell at the top.  I can't seem to move the dock back to the Dell.  Can someone help?  I tried moving the menu bar to the MBP and then back, hoping the dock would follow but no luck.
    Thanks for your help.

When the dock is defined as on the bottom, it will appear on the screen of the extended desktop that is lowest.
Move the second monitor where the bottom edges are equal or the Dell is lower and the dock will move there.
