Bought a Logitech keyboard to. Use with my iPad 2 but doesn't work. What am I doing wrong?

Bought a Logitech keyboard for iPad 2... First of all USB cord doesn't fit and had to order adaptor to connect them but still doesn't work...keyboard came with no directions? How do I make this work?

You're using the Camera Connection Kit. This is designed to connect cameras to your iPad in order to import photos you've taken. However, the Camera Connection Kit, although that was not what it was designed for, has been known to sometimes accept certain simple USB keyboards and even USB headphones. Obviously, your Logitech is of a better quality keyboard and does not work with the CCK, because it wasn't designed to accept anything other than a camera.
Most Bluetooth keyboards, if not all, should work with your iPad. There is the official Apple Keyboard which looks and works great, and connects to an iPad or a Mac using Bluetooth. However, it is a bit on the expensive side ($70). I'm sure there are good alternatives if you need.

Have you checked the ink cartridges and made sure the nozzles are clear? Are you able to print from outside of iPhoto with the correct color?
Try the following: make temporary copy of the library and do the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.

There are two ways that should work. When you are in the trash folder, you can swipe on the email in the list - left to right - and a red Delete button should pop up. Or you can select - Edit - at the top of the list of messages and then select the message and tap delete.
Not sure exactly how this works - but if you have restrictions enabled - especially since you let your grandchild use the device - that may be restricting what you can do in the mail app. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions. If you have it set to on - turn it off or see if you have mail restricted.

Open System Preferences > Displays > select the window for you external monitor > click on the Arrangement tab and check the box next to Mirror Displays. It may be slightly different in Lion, but the idea is the same.

If it is paired currently, you need to unpair it if you want to pair it back with the iMac.
As I said, it can only be paired to one device. If you want to use it with another, you need to unpair it first and then pair it with the other one.
And, if you need to sign in with your password to your Mac, you will need to borrow any USB keyboard to do so and to pair it; once it's recognized, you can use the wireless keyboard again.

I suggest that you must find out what the variables are, as I have tested the two variable EQUALS and NOT and it has worked, so it is a subtlety. Can you add a procedure step which uses a Jython step to print the variable value to the console of an agent so you see what it is comparing.
In my package I have the steps:
Declare variable A
Declare Variable B
Assign value to A
Assign valkue to B
Evaluate Variable A: equals #PROJECTCODE.B
On true step TRUE
On False step FALSE
I tried assigning B the same and different values, each time I ran I got the expected response.

Something doesn't seem right here. If she has to use her email address as her contact address in order to message with you, that suggest to me that she either doesn't meet the requirements to use her iPhone number as the contact address (iOS 6 or later with an iPhone number linked to her Apple ID) or there is an issue with the way the phone number is being entered.

Using AS2 to Call JavaScript w/ External Interface: What Am I Doing Wrong?

I am trying to trigger a JavaScript fuction from inside a
Flash 8/AS2 movie created by my coworker. The JS function is called
disappear(), which is meant to close the DIV that contains the
flash movie itself.
I know the JS works in all my target browsers - it's been
tested already. Now I need working ActionScript. The ActionScript
I've been studying is 3.0 so the fact that this task must be
accomplished in AS2 makes it that much harder for me; I know very
little about the way Flash Virtual Machine 1 works so I don't know
where to begin with the code.
I would like to implement this one of two ways:
Preferred Method: I'd like to create an AS file that I can
send to my coworker for inclusion in his FLA along with any code
necessary for linking the button instance to the class in the AS
file (don't think code is necessary; linkage done during
right-click on library panel, right?)
Alternative Method: I'd like to send my coworker text that he
can simply drop into the first frame in the movie to make it go.
I started out trying to call the javascript with on(press) {
getURL("avascript:myFunction"); }, which worked in Firefox but not
in IE6 or 7. Then I read over the tutorial here:

Thank you for your response. The drives are in fact different letters -- I changed the drive name to correspond the original drive letter...but that doesn't seem to have fixed the problem.
Where I seem to stand is:
Old computer (with iTunes library) + external hard drive (with iTunes music) work just fine.
New computer -- iTunes library copied from old computer, iTunes music folder identified in iTunes, but iTunes can't find the music.
At this point, am I better off starting from scratch with the new computer (in terms of installing iTunes and moving my library over from my old computer)?
And if so, what would be the best way to approach this?

Can query serial port with NI MAX, but doesn't work in Labview

I'm trying to control a Coherent Sapphire 488 with labview. It's connected via a serial to USB converter into the computer. I can communicate with a device using NI MAX, but when I try to run the vi (attached), it works for several queries, but evetually returns a null character, after which I can no longer communicate with the port. If I then go into the NI MAX interface, every time I try to read it gives the "VISA: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) Timeout expired before operation completed" error message.There are also several queriess from the instrument's manual that don't seem to work at all (with or without MAX) and always return a null character. Any help is appreciated. I'm certainly a novice with device communication. Thanks.

Generally issue with termination character.
And you are sending \ and r and not CarriageReturn.

Many of my songs have a "!" next to them and it says the song could not be used bc original file could not be found, what am I doing wrong?

Your iTunes may have lost track of your music file location, you may find many of the songs in Itunes music library to precede with an ! symbol.
Do you know where is the location of the original music file?
If so, double click a song with ! mark on side, you will be given an option to locate the file where the song is held. Select "locate" and direct it to your folder / file where the song is and open it.
iTunes then will give you the option to use this process to update all of your library. OK that as this will do it automatically instead of fixing them one by one.

My iMac can not see my mini Mac via Airport extreme using host name, only via IP address. What am I doing wrong ?

I have an iMac and a mini Mac attached to the same Airport extreme. It would appear that Bonjour works because I can see the hostname of the mini Mac server in Finder on the iMac.
But if I type in the host name (myminimac.private) in the Safari browser at the iMac it can not find the mini mac. However if I type in the IP address of the mini mac server it can see the see it.
It used to work but I must have done something to mess it up.
Anybody any suggestions ?

You have the wrong card. You need the original AirPort card for your G4.

Synchronizes with my iPad but doesn't synchronize with my iPhone

My iMac and my iPad synchronize via the cloud. But, my iPhone does not. The iPhone has a "*@mac" account whereas the iPad and iMac use my "@aol" address. Could this be the problem? If so, how can I change the iPhone (or the iPad/iMac for that matter)?

The passcode and restrictions password can be two different codes. You need the restrictions password if it has been set up as different from the unlock passcode.
