So, I bought my daughter an Asus laptop the day after Christmas. Today, the same laptop is on the "deal of the day" email that I get daily. It is $20 cheaper than I payed for it... Am I able to get that $20 back now?

I upgraded to mountain lion a week ago and now on startup of my macbook pro, microsoft excel and word start up automatically and then crash? very strange can anyone please help? I have checked the login items under users and groups and there is nothing.
Are you using the Office for Mac 2011 version, as you need to do? The Office for Mac 2004 is Not at all compatible with Mountain Lion, and the 2008 version has been noted to have some problems running with ML.

I purchased a wireless keyboard for my iPad a week ago and now the keypad doesn't pop up when I want to type anything.
Have you tried to go into bluetooth and telling it to forget your keyboard?
Drastic but might enable you to repair the devices and see if it clears up the glitch.
I had a period of time when my iPad always sensed and used my bluetooth keyboard. I think it finally went away after I powered down the iPad. (not just a put to sleep, a bonafide 'slide the red slider to shut it down' powering down. -

No I didn't. I have just synchronized my computer with itunes and that's all. I also click to "allow this computer to use itunes''. How can I put my videos on the new computer? Franckly speaking I just use itunes for downloading and I don't know how to set up the options and so on.

I allowed Apple updates about two weeks ago and now Safari is way too slow. I have tried using Airport and Ethernet and the problem is the same. Yesterday, I upgraded to Safari 5.1 and now the problem is worse. Any solutions?

This never occured before and is the direct consequence of Safari compliance to Web Open Type. This standard prohibits the use of Type 1 Postscript Fonts and is the reason why so many people are in trouble.

Why the iPod is so funny while it can syn i week ago and now can't even find the iPod on the itune left hand column. I can still hear the sound when the iPod is plug in the PC, Why? I have install over a thousand songs and reinstall itune means to do it all over again. What a waste of time and energy? There are songs I can not retrieve again!!!!

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have the iPod play a sound via iCloud.
- If not shown, then you will have to use the old fashioned way, like if you lost a wallet or purse.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

I uninstalled firefox a few weeks ago and now want to reinstall it. When I install it it downloads fine and runs, it extracts up to 100% then othing happends so it doesn't install.
It is possible that your anti-virus software is corrupting the downloaded files or otherwise interfering with downloading files by Firefox.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading and installing work. -

Download time is mostly related to your internet connection speed. Beside, there's no need to wait for the entire movie to download before you start watching it; only some buffer needs to be downloaded. When the buffer is filled, you should get a message that your rented movie can now be watched which usually happen within a minute of the purchase on standard cable connection.

I got my iphone 4 a week ago, but i realized that whenever the battery reaches 55% it automatically turns off and will not turn on unless its connected to a power supply (AC charger or USB on pc). I tried hard resetting it but it did not work. Havent restored it. Any idea why is this so? I hope it has nothing to do with the battery.

Not that's not normal and is one of the Problems I was having before Restoring as New...
Just make sure you Sync ALL your important Info... Contacts... Music... Etc... to your Computer...
and then do a Restore as New...
i was a bit reluctant at First, because I hadn't done it before... But it was So Easy and am Really Glad I did...
