Bought an album, and now it's not in my library, but in my account history...HELP!!

Bought an album, and now it's not in my library, but it's in my purchase history. When I go to the album in iTunes store, it's saying I have to purchase it again. Is there a way to redownload it without having to pay for it again?

Cook, this is the community forum. For problems with iTunes orders, you need to contact their Customer Support, either from iTunes, or from the receipt email.

        1.    First you should try logging out of your iTunes Store account (settings > iTunes Store > accounts) and then back in again.
        2.    If that doesn't help, try resetting the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings).You should also try restarting your router.
        3.    If both of the above don't help, you should try a restore (Settings > General > Reset > Restore).

    After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning device recognition issues:
    iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for OS X
    Follow these steps to resolve your issue:
    If you haven't connected your iOS device to this computer before, unlock the device and tap Trust. Learn more about the Trust This Computer alert.
    Restart your iOS device.
    Restart your Mac.
    Make sure that your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
    Install software updates on your Mac.
    If an iTunes update is available, apply the update.
    Check USB connections. iOS devices need USB 2.0 to work properly. If you're not sure your Mac has USB 2.0 ports, check the computer's specifications.
    Disconnect other USB devices and connect your device directly to a USB port on your Mac.
    Try another USB cable.

  • Bought an album and now it won't play!

    I bought an album off of itunes store and it shows in my purchased and also in my music library, but it will not play. I push play and it stays at 0:00 and i'll move the dot to another time in the song and it still won't play. Anyone know whats wrong? I'm so mad if i can't do anything about it!!!!

    Sorry, without your Sync Key you're out of luck. It is used as the decryption key for the data that is stored on the Sync server.

    Films can't be re-downloaded in all countries - and even where films can be re-downloaded, not all film studios have agreed to it. If you've just bought it on the iPad then it should be in the Videos app. If it's a previous purchase then have you not got it on your computer and /or on a backup so that you can sync it to the iPad ?

    If you want to solve your problems, unjailbreak. And don't do it again, because jailbreaking causes problems as you read about in that article. You can try Recovery Mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

    Have you tried syncing the iPhone to your computer and restoring from the backup to see if you can get your other songs back? If you purchased the new album with your Apple ID, you should be able to download it to your computer to sync.
