Bought an album from itunes store syncing is not allowed

The album I bought is/was from the same computer I do the main purchasing from.
So after purchase I add my iphone to its USB connector then continue to sync.

The contents of the iphone were erased first before the sync started.
then it bombed out saying now allowed on this pc? but I purchased the music from this pc!!!!!!!!!!!

For music that you've purchased from Apple that are on your iPhone you should be able to copy to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. Also if you are in the US then you should be able to re-download past music purchases for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519
For your own music that you've copied, then if you haven't got a backup on, for example, external drives or CDs/DVDs then you could see if any of the utilities mentioned in this old post still exist and work

If you rented it directly on the iPad then it should have downloaded into the Videos app - if you can't find it in there then have you got a film age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding it ?

Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.

Do you not have a backup of the computer that you can retrieve the files from?

This morning I used my laptop to purchased an album on iTunes store, but then when I used my Mac Mini and Iphone, trying to find that album on icloud, it didn't show up, all my other purchases showed up normally. I went to the album page, it only showed as "Purchased" but there's no download option. Could anyone help me with this?

Your other music shows under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your Mac's iTunes, and in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone - if they do then are you signed in with the same account or is that album hidden (hiding and unhiding) ? Is the laptop the computer that you normally sync the phone to (e.g. could you sync it), and could you copy the album from the laptop to your Mac Mini e.g. via file sharing, a flash drive etc (copying music)

My computer has been authorised and has the newest version of iTunes. My iPhone shoes the option of choosing my computer's music but my computer doesn't even show the option of music, but shows apps, movies, tv-shows and books. Also when i click on the songs in my iTunes store on my computer, it says i have bought them but doesn't show the option of playing them. Is the problem in my iPhone or is this something to do with the songs' copyrights?
