Hello, I'm from Romania and I bought an iphone 4 in sweden. When I arrived in country I found it was locked in a network there ... how can I use it in romania networks and how can I find if I can get code from Apple, unlock it.

Only the Swedish carrier can unlock the iphone nothing to do with Apple
Contact them and find out if they offer unlocking and if so terms they apply
The iPhone is locked because that carrier subsidised the original
purchase price in Sweden

I have a problem..i bought a iphone 4 from a guy in Mostar and he said it was locked on Telenor Sweden.
I have contacted Telenor and they said that the phone is reported stolen,and that they cant do anything to help me.
The person who sold it to me dosent reply over www.pik.ba
Please help me, i wont to unlock it,or just contact the person who reported it the real owner and return it back if nonthing.

Unlocking a replaced iphone 4s in sweden
Hi, couple of months ago I bought an iphone 4s from a person in sweden which is locked to tele2. When I contacted tele2 to unlock this phone they told me they can't find this phone's IMEI number and this phone may have been replaced. They need the IMEI number of the first phone to unlock it. But the person from whom I bought this phone is unable to give me the IMEI number of first phone as he is not the first buyer of this phone. Now I am leaving Sweden and need to unlock it but tele2 can't unlock my phone. In this regard, what should I do and how can I unlock my phone? Please help. Thank you in advance.
Only tele2 can help you. You need to contact them as only they can unlock your phone for you. Nobody else can help you and there is no point in posting personal information on a user forum.
Contact tele2 and ask them if they will unlock the phone for you. -
I have a macbook pro, and am trying to update my software. I recently bought an iphone 5, and my software is to out of date to sync my phone with itunes. I currently am running 10.5.8 and I need to update to atleast 10.6.8. Just wondering if I need to purchase it from apple or if there is an easy/free way to update it.

IF it is a manufacturing defect and you bought the device from Apple or an authorized Apple retailer, then take it into Apple.

I have just bought an iPhone 5 and it won't sync to iTunes. It says it needs iTunes 10.7, which I have downloaded and installed. I still get the error message and looking at "about iTunes" it says 10.6.3. What do I do??

Days ago before buying a new SIM Card, iTunes found new update IOS 7.0.4 and after installing the update my iPhone restarted and started to take me through activation... The activation needed a SIM Card so I bought Telefonica O2 SIM Card and I tried to continue the activation... At the step of writing my Apple ID and my Passowrd, I wrote them right but an error window appeard saying that incorrect Apple ID and my Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPhone...
I checked my Apple ID on iTunes and iCloud to make sure that my password and my account are ok and it was working... I thought it might be a problem with the SIM Card so I went to O2 customer service and they said that the problem is not with the SIM Card as the SIM Card is working so they can not do anything for me... On the window of activation logging in there is link "activation help" and by clicking it after typing my Apple ID and password, a window appears saying that my iPhone could not be activated because activation server cannot be reached and asking me to try activating on iTunes or trying again later and if this problem persists I should contact Apple support...
I tried activating on iTunes and the same message appeared that my Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPhone and I tried activating many times for two days on my iPhone and iTunes and nothing is working... I also tried to call Apple service number in Slovakia (0800004640) and they said for iPhone I should contact my carrier network which I contacted already and they didn't help at all as I mentioned before... In the end of my tries I went to iCloud finder to find my iPhone on my account and I didnt find it there because I never set up iCloud on my iPhone before...

My iPhone was connected to a wifi internet when I tried to activate it and when I tried activation by iTunes I was using my laptop with windows 7 which was connected to internet by cable.
I updated my iPhone to IOS 7 when I was in Egypt and I had no problems with updating it and I can't remember if finding my iPhone option was on or off before updating to IOS 7 and as i understood from searching internet that to use iCloud Finder on web from computer to find my iPhone it should be set up already on my iPhone and I didn't set up iCloud on my iPhone before and my Apple ID wasn't verified for iCloud till today, I verfied it by logging in iCloud from a friend iPad.
I was considering already the option that my iPhone has been hacked but if this happened so how I would unlock my iPhone and activate it to back to work? who would help me with that? ThanksWithout contract is not the same as unlocked. The update to iOS 7 relocked
the iPhone to the wireless carrier to which it was originally locked. You must
contact that wireless carrier to see if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
If you used jailbreak or other hack to unlock the iPhone initially, the method
used may prevent a legitimate unlock from succeeding and may render your
iPhone unuseable. -

I bought this iPhone from Apple Retail Store (from Fifth Avenue, NY) for the full amount. Now it does not work with my SIM card only works with AT&T. Apple did not begin selling an unlocked version of the iPhone 4S in the US until 11/11/11. I believe it went on sale only through the online store at that time. I'm not sure if it's available at retail yet.
What you purchased was a phone without a contract commitment. It is still locked to AT&T. AT&T will NOT unlock iPhones for any reason. Return it and get your money back, then use that to purchase an unlocked phone. -
I bought an iPhone 4 from a youngster who had put his own Apple ID on it but could not remember the password. I backed it up yesterday and restored to my new iPhone and it copied the Apple ID across too. Now I have 2 phones with it on. Anything I do?

when you start using iCloud on any iOS device and enable find my iPhone, this prevents a new user from using it, and also prevents anyone from using the phone
as it is locked to previous owners account ,this is also the case if when a phone is lost or stolen.
the only way around this is to have the previous owner reset their apple id by going to @ applied.apple.com
if they are unable to do this, then the only other way around this is to have the previous owner get a copy of their original receipt and call apple support who can then lift this lock if they get a copy of the receipt

thanks !!!You have encounter Activation Lock, the antitheft feature of the iPhone. The previous owner did not remove the phone from their account. The phone cannot be used until they do. Return to the store and let them sort this out. It is very unusual for someone to "forget" to disable activation lock, as it is necessary to do so to erase personal information on the phone. So it is quite likely you bought a stolen phone.

You need to have the latest version of iTunes on the computer, version 11.1.3 to be able to handle syncing a newer phone with iOS 7. The iTunes on the iPhone has nothing to do with syncing and is installed by the iOS.
Go to iTunes on the computer, click on Help, Check for updates to update iTunes on the computer, or go to to www.apple.com/itunes/download and download and install the latest version of iTunes to correct your problem. -

I recently bought the iphone 4 from Bangkok and it is being funny. It keeps turning off every now and again and freezes. It is a genuine i phone but Im not sure what to do, Sometimes I select photos or calander or my messages and it will enter the app for 2 seconds then log back out onto the main menu.
I have reset it like 5 times a day.
Will this cost me a fortune to fix??
Im currently residing in Dubai and there doesn't seem to be any actual Apple stores here.
Also I have not yet purchased a sim card for this phone..as I dont want to spend money on a contract if the phone is faulty.
Could the reason for the phone be due to having no sim card in it?

EmmaIf you never put a SIM card in the phone, there's no way you could have activated it to do anything. Either you hacked the phone to use it or it's not a legitimate Apple product. Note that iPhone warranty is valid only in the country of sale (with the exception if the EU).
