Bought and app and now it's gone.

I bought Face Melter on my Iphone. I guess I never synced it before updating because it's not in my Itunes applications. When I tried to download it again it didn't recognize that I had bought it. What to do?

How do you know it doesn't recognize that you bought it? Is it because in iTunes it still shows "Buy" next to the application?
iTunes is dumb in the fact that it does not change "Buy" to "Download again" if you already own it. It will NOT charge you twice if you already bought it.
You can check to see if you already own it by going to your Purchase History through your iTunes account.

What were you running before you updated? 10.10.2, or an earlier version of OS X (10.9 or earlier)?
If 10.10.2, then iPhoto should still be on your machine. If not, then go to the App Store, purchased tab, and look for iPhoto, and download it (you'll need iPhoto 9.6.1 to run on Yosemite).
If you never installed iPhoto from the Mac App Store, then you should contact AppleCare, who can probably help you out. That's the only option in this case; upgrading from 10.9 or earlier straight to 10.10.3 is a bad incidence of timing.

What did you update from and to and how old is the version of iMovie you have?
Sounds like the iMovie you have there is a PPC app which is no longer supported in Lion or Mountain Lion. If that is the case you will need to purchase a new version of the app.

If you're in the US, you have only 24 hours to complete watching a rental from the time you started viewing it. Have less than 24 hours passed since you started to watch? If it's been less, go here:

and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store. Tell them the day and time you purchased, the time you started to watch, and the time today you went back to finish watching and found the movie gone.

I got first iphone 5 and after trying to set up itunes to phone I ended up with all my daughters contacts from her iphone on my iphone. That's what happens when you share the same iCloud account. First, migrate his phone to a different iCloud account using a different ID (you can continue to share the same ID for other services such as iTunes if you want). To do this, on his phone save any photo stream photos that he wants to keep to his camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If he are syncing notes with iCloud that he wants to keep, you'll need to open each of your notes and email them to him so he can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in his new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account (which only deletes it from this device, not from iCloud; this won't effect your phone), provide the password to turn off Find My iPhone and choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted. Then sign back in with a different Apple ID to create his new account and choose Merge to upload the data. After doing this, he can go to icloud.com and safely delete your data from his new account.
Then, if your contacts were on your phone when you last backed it up to iCloud, you can restore them by following Winston Churchill's user tip here: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4841. This involves turning off your wifi after your phone restarts during the restore process, then saving the contacts on your phone and deleting them from iCloud prior to turning your wifi back on and allowing the restore process to finish. You can turn off your wifi either by pulling the cord out of the WAN port in your wifi router, or by simply unplugging it.

My Ipad 3 is the same, it must be a design fault cuz I dropped a pound coin on my ipad screen and it shattered and every other week there's a new dent or scratch, though I wouldn't say I'm overly rough with it. I use it a lot, like most do, so accidents will happen and Apple hav to allow for that. I deffently wouldn't say that they are worth the money for the amount of trouble they cause, they r great devices, just far too delicate and expensive!

Where have you looked for iPhoto? Is it gone from your Dock or the applications folder?
Have you searched with Spotlight? Enter iPhoto into the searchfield in the upper right corner of your screen and then look, if it will be listed in the "Applications" section of the list.
What happenend, before iPhoto vanished? Did you upgrade any software?

You should get your keyboard checked as it's repeating on a lot of keys and makes you look silly.

- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.

I moved my FCP events and projects folder onto my external hard drive and now everything is gone on FCP. When I tried to reload those folders onto FCP nothing happened. I still get the missing files image.

Brownale6 how can u reload folder in to FCP.
As you said folders are moved to external disk but have you checked it should be like this
For Event
external disk>Final Cut Events>your event folder.
For project
external disk>Final Cut Projects>your project folder.
