Bought Lion through App Store. It is my understanding that Lion can be loaded on all machines owned by the same family. But, I cannot find the download when I go into the app store in my "purchased" file. Don't want to buy it again if not needed.

Upgraded to Lion via the App store download. After reading many posts, it seems that I can load Lion on my other imacs. However, when I sign into the store and check my downloads, Lion is not there. Don't want to purchase more software If I don't have to. Any Suggestions?

On your other Macs, Open ->App Store and Sign in with the same Apple ID and you should be able to d/l from the Purchases Tab

Eureka. You are right. I just tested closing and reopening Mail and now today's groups work. Regarding editing the existing groups, I found an article from 2011 on CNet that claimed that iCloud disables the Distribution List Editor. The work around is to create a single dummy group under "On My Mac" which will reactivate the editor which can then be used for iCloud groups. I tested this and it works.

How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Try closing the app via the device's multitasking bar and see if it works when you re-open the app : double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag the app's 'screen' up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.
If the app still doesn't work then try deleting the app from your device and redownload it (assuming that it's still in the store) via the Purchased tab in the App Store app - or resync it from your computer's iTunes (if you don't have a copy of the app in the Apps part of your computer's iTunes library then copy it over via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases before deleting it).
If that also doesn't get it to work then contact the developer.

You buy one and only one download.
It is your responsibility to move/copy/backup your music.
Certainly you did not update your ipod without making sure that you had transferred anything purchased on the ipod to your computer and included it in your regular backup copy of your computer.

Ask your local library if they offer electronic books for checkout and if so what system they use. Then you can look to see if there is an app for that system available for iOS devices. As RG said, neither Apple nor Amazon offer electronic books on a rental basis other than Amazon's Kindle textbook rental.

I am having the same problem and this really can't be true. I don't have a problem with Apple dropping support for older versions of iWork and other software but I purchased the current versions from Apple. Apple sold me downloadable versions (saving them the cost of pressing a CD and printing a package and helping to save the earth's resources) and now Apple is telling me sorry you need to repurchase them after you just spent $3,000 on a new Mac laptop. If I had insisted on a CD, I wouldn't be having this problem. If this is true, I might just switch to MS Office and Lightroom.

Already purchased apps vanished from "Purchased" list in app store. How do I get them back without buying them again?

I had a problem with my 3GS iphone. At the Genius Bar I was told the phone had to be reinstalled. Since I had backed up the phone I agreed. Afterwards they told me, I should not use the backup but reinstall everything fresh manually. Now I find that several apps that I have used frequently in the past and did pay for are not in my "purchased" list of the App store.
It might have something to do with the fact that the apps I used to use are now optimised for higher iOS. I cannot install iOS7, but the apps that vanished from the list can still be installed. I just dont want to buy everything again.
Does anyone have suggestion how to get back those apps?

You can re download past purchases for free but make sure and use the same Apple ID and password.

There is a 20mb file size limit over 3G.
If you can connect via wifi, there is no file size limit.
If that is not what you mean, I have no idea-never heard of or seen a message like you describe.
