Bought or previous apps not blinking open but staying open on new phone

I Have just a had my 3gs upgrade from my 3g phone and the p¡bought apps whetehr they be bought or on my itunes account don´t open, they blink open when you touch them but thats all, i´ve restored the phone via itunes and restarted the phone but same same, any clues. I´m english working and living in spain, could it be a registration issue?

If you have the same mobile number, but a different phone, then you have to login to MyBT, and manage your SmartTalk service.
If its the only phone registered, then you have to delete SmartTalk, and then start over again.
If its an additional user, then you need to disable that user, then re-install SmarTalk on the phone, after creating a new unique MyBT ID for that new phone.
This will create a new signup on your main MyBT profile, with your mobile number.
When you get your bill, you will see two entries against your mobile number, but with different Service IDs. One shows the calls made up to the point where you changed over, and the other will show the calls made on the new phone.
Basically, each new signup or change, needs a new unique Service ID to be generated

    You still double-click the home button to open the multitasking bar, but instead of pressing and holding them like you did on previous iOS versions, you now swipe/drag the app's 'screen' up and off the top of the screen.

    We've had the same problem with our iPhone 4s too.  I've had mine for a couple of months and just since Christmas have noticed that it sometimes won't load either.....just a nice white screen.  My husband on the other hand just got an identical phone to me a few days ago and it's even worse for getting on to the app site.  What is going on?  Even my son's iPod since Christmas has had difficulty getting on to it too.
    I was told that it's basically an overload on the Apple server....understandable but where is the fix for this problem?  I'm looking through all forums and can't find anything.  I'm almost thinking of calling Customer Service again, but I've got other things to be doing than trying to troubleshoot this issue. 
    Can anyone help????

    iTunes will not let me backup and sync to new phone encrypted password?? I've never set a password for my old iPhone 3gs but tried my old Apple ID sign-in passwords to no avail. I've simply sat here so frustrated....my husband sync'd his new iPhone 4 no problem, somehow the checkbox shows Encrypted password and I'm at a loss on how to change this/find the password and transfer my old backup onto my new phone so I can use it.   • I need to sync my phone with my computer as a new phone.  When I attach the cord, iTunes is not asking me if it is a new phone but tries to sync my prior apps.  I was having problems and do not want to restore my old settings.  How?

    How can I force iTunes to let me backup my iPhone to my computer as a new phone?  It is not asking me if it is a new device but is trying to restore my old settings.

    Go to iTunes Preferences, Devices tab. Check the box "Prevent iPods, iPhones & iPads from syncing automatically".
    then connect the phone, click on its name, and click the "Restore iPhone" button.

  • Mail app not working - says connecting... no new mail

    Ok so I recently had a problem with my iPhone's "phone" app and "contacts" app (both would open a white blank screen and then crash after approx 10 sec.) so I did a back-up and restore from iTunes. After that the problem was fixed. However, NOW my iPhone's "mail" app is not working. When I open the app it says "connecting..." and has the spinning wheel but that it never connects. That wheel just keeps spinning away. When I use the "safari" app to access my gmail account it works perfect. I have 4 accounts (including my iCloud account) set up on my iPhone and I can't figure out what's wrong. I know I'm not the only one with this issue because I've seen the same problem UNANSWERED multiple times in this forum.
    I'VE ALREADY TRIED A HARD REBOOT* - When my phone turns back on there is new mail but when I click on it to view it it doesn't load the message. just another spinning wheel. AHH!
    This problem is really, really bothering me. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

    If the Mail app is not opening, then I would remove the email accounts. Open mail to see if that resolves the issue and then start adding the accounts back in.

  • Can I restore a previous session after I open a new page and close it again afterwards?

    I recently lost all of my opened tabs and windows. I had 7 pages open with multiple tabs in each window. Windows did an update and shut down my computer without me realizing. When I went on to my computer, without thinking I opened a new window and didn't restore the session, not realizing it wasn't there anymore. Then my computer shut down unexpectedly. Now when I go on the computer, it won't show my previous browsing session. The restore previous session is grayed out, and now that I opened another window to try to figure it out, there is nothing to restore. Is there any way to get a browsing session back from the past? Not the most previous browsing session, but a browsing session from 2 before that??? I am devastated because of all the research I've done in the past 6 months is gone. It will be so hard to figure it all out by searching through my history since it was 6 months of browsing. Not to mention too time consuming to do it that way since there were a few hundred tabs that I lost! Please help me!! I keep thinking that there has to be a way...It's really stressing me out and I just can't accept that it is all gone! I'm not an expert on computers, so I hope to get an explanation that I understand...I would be so grateful if someone can help me!! Thanks!!

  • New page not being opened in new window when using a dynamic menu

    I have read an earlier post about this but I didn't really see a solution I could implement there. I have a dynamic menu, and I want one item on it to open a new frame. Here is the module code from the template.

    It is the main template menu from the Tribeca site template.
    I have tried inserting (_blank) into the appropriate target frame, and still it opens in the same window.  I gathered from the previous post that it was a version issue, but as you can see, the code says "version 2"... or am I mis-reading that?
    I couldn't find where to make changes. The previous post suggested I look for the CSS on the home template, but I am not using a home template.
    Any thoughts?

    Thanks Liam, it worked. I need a clarification if you can... I don't need all the items in the menu to open in a new window, so under the menu itself, under the individual items, I would set the target frame to "_self" for the items I need to remain in the same window? Or is it an all or none thing?

  • IPhone 5 Apps won't open after New Years Eve

    I got a new iPhone 5 for Christmas.  Everything was working fine up until New Year's Eve.  On January 1st non of my Apps will open.  I've deleted them manually from the phone and reinstalled them from the App Store, powered phone off, put phone in airplane mode and non of my purchased Apps will open.  Only Apps that work are those that came pre-installed.  I'm thinking I might just go back to using my 3GS never had an issue.

    Panic over!!! I just hit one of the apps and it opened....not sure what is going on but all looks good now.  Phew what a relief.

  • New text message notification will not go away, but there are no new text messages

    I've tried turning the phone off and on again about a million times. I've tried deleting the text message thread that it should have been talking about. I've restored my settings, I've erased the entire phone and then restored from itunes... and IT'S STILL THERE. Stupid little red "1" in the text message icon. When I click on messages, it just opens to the screen showing all your threads. I've obviously checked all, and there are no unread messages...and even if there was 1 unread message like it's saying, when I click on messages it should open up directly to it, but it doesn't, because there isn't one.
    Don't know what else to try. Anyone have any suggestions or heard of this before? Thank you so much, I appreciate all help!

    Try stopping and restarting the Messages app: double tap the home button to bring up the recently used apps list at the bottom, locate the Messages app icon (swiping if necessary), press and hold it until it jiggles, tap the red minus sign.  Open and close messages again and see if that clears it.  If not, stop it again followed by resetting your phone: hold on/off and home buttons simultaneoulsy for 10-15 seconds until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), release and wait for the phone to restart.

    Thank you for your question, I understand that it is annoying to have to move a new window to the second screen. Since it opens in the active screen this may have been a stored preference, however it is not the default.
    There is an add on called [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/monitor-master/ Monitor Master] that customizes settings like this. Check it out.

  • Want Firefox to open new links in current tab, not to open in new tab.

    With one of the new updates, Firefox opens a new tab when going to a new link, rather than opening link in the current tab, the way it did in earlier versions. I know I can choose open new tab or open new window in Preferences, but I want to just open the linnk in the current tab. Now, in a very short amount of time, my tab bar is filled with a glut of tabs. I prefer to use back page or forward page to retrace my steps, and to open up a new tab just when I want to open a new tab. This new default for tabbing contradicts the concept of making tabbing for your own organizational behavior.

    Click the orange Firefox button, and click "Options". This will bring up a new window with a "Tabs" tab at the top. Click that. There will be several checked boxes, including one called "Open new windows in a new tab instead" up at the top of the list. Uncheck that box and you should be good to go.
    ETA: This should also work if you click "Tools" and "Options" within your version.
